18/08/2025: As other reviews point out, the food isn't bad, and the atmosphere is overall pleasant in the square, a quiet spot. The main problem is the staff: as soon as we arrived, we were asked, quite rightly, if we had booked, to which we said no. As a result, we were looked at insolently, as if at 10:30 PM with the square empty there was a risk of not finding a table for three (two or three more tables arrived after us). But that's not the shocking thing. One of the three people at our table is vegetarian, and the only option on the menu was pizza. When we asked to change the recipe for a first course, we were rudely told that changing it would no longer be the "old locanda" recipe and therefore it wasn't worth ordering. Assuming that this request was made politely, asking if it was possible without making too much of a fuss, I think that when there are no alternatives, it's more than understandable. This complaint about the staff was reinforced by the manager's response to the previous review, which confirmed the insolence, dislike, and arrogance that are evidently required CVs for employment at this restaurant.

18/08/2025: Really expensive for what it offers. The service... the foreign lady serving the tables almost seems like she's doing you a favor. 2 coffees 4 euros.

23/07/2025: Wonderful location, excellent food, knowledgeable and courteous staff. The cleanliness was a real surprise, considering the bathrooms in these places usually leave a lot to be desired! Great guys, highly recommended!

21/07/2025: Great Italian food with a beautiful inside and two terraces (one outside, one from the inside)? Go here! Staff is very nice, people speak English too. Many choices, for all ages. Great taste, great portions. I highly recommend this restaurant in the beautiful town of Marradi!

05/06/2025: siamo tornati memori della bella esperienza, sicuramente ci ritorneremo ancora Locale semplice proprio come le trattorie di un tempo, piatti davvero buoni, porzioni generose, personale gentile e sempre disponibile e alla fine anche il conto è una bella sorpresa, Marchino fa capire che è ancora possibile offrire qualità a prezzi onesti. Davvero complimenti. Da provare, l'antipasto misto della casa, i maltagliati al ragù di cinghiale, le tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, i funghi fritti.....

25/04/2025: Piacevolissima sorpresa e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ci hanno trovato un tavolo anche senza prenotazione e poi abbiamo gustato un antipasto sfiziosissimo. Ottima pasta fresca con tartufo e tordelli profumatissimi. Buon prodotto anche il vino della casa.

07/12/2024: Era da tempo che non mangiavo così bene a Firenze! Piatti ricercati , pieni di sapore , abbinamenti insoliti molto apprezzati, sapori unici, bravo lo chef e grande maestria del proprietario che abbina perfettamente vini diversi ad ogni piatto , una grandissima scelta di vini naturali da tutto il mondo , che nasce da una conoscenza profonda del mondo del vino naturale. Enoteca unica a Firenze, che rispecchia la professionalità dei proprietari. Complimenti!

04/08/2025: Siamo stati sabato sera per la prima volta e siamo stati benissimo , Puntuali cortesi gioiosi educati personale giovane con ottima istruzione e volontà Le pietanze molto buone pesce tenerissimo porzioni nella norma Mia figlia ha preso la pizza molto buona e ben cotta Unico appunto potrebbero essere j prezzi leggermente sopra la media Sproporzionato il prezzo 1 porzione patate fritta 7 euro ... direi troppo !! 20/07/2025: Un po di attesa iniziale poi tutto regolare. Buon servizio e attenzione dei camerieri. I piatti scelti li abbiamo graditi con lode (mezze maniche, maltagliati, coniglio ripieno e guancia ). Cenato nel giardino verde molto curato, in un luogo silenzioso. Un piccolo appunto per la presenza di fastidiose api che dusturbavano qualche tavolo di commensali.

06/07/2025: Ambiente raffinato e caldo. Consigliato da compagni di bagno al mare a marina finalmente abbiamo provato questa locanda .serata calda siamo arrivati alle 20.30 con un sole ancora altro .un pratino verde panorama con le vigne curate Tavoli sotto un porticato .abbiamo preso un primo a testa poi un favoloso piatto di cervo .ganasce come dolce .serata piacevolissima

31/05/2025: Unfortunately I found it unprofessional to cancel a reservation with two children a few minutes away, and the place is not that great! If you walk around the block there are much better! Ps: sometimes you just need to be nicer.

05/08/2025: Cena buonissima. Ottima la braciata di carni miste e l'agnello. Tutto buono, anche la pizza. Ci sono stata varie vole e fi tornerò ancora. Personale gentile e facilità di parcheggio.

31/05/2025: Avrei messo 5 punti all'ottimo filetto, al sangue, che si scioglieva in bocca. 23 € spesi molto volentieri ma non posso dire lo stesso del contorno: un piattino di insalata verde a 7,00€ 😳😳😳. Valutando che ogni 3 insalatine potevo prendere quasi un altro filetto. Anche gli altri contorni avevano prezzi oltre la media. Consiglio vivamente, se non di integrarlo nel prezzo del filetto, almeno di non superare i 3,00€ per quel piattino di verde.

21/07/2024: I met this restaurant and its fabulous staff a couple of years ago, a very welcoming environment, an environment that becomes familiar over time. I would say an environment of times gone by, you become part of everyday life with them, you get to know each other and thus fabulous friendships are born. Working nearby, every now and then I treat myself to a quick greeting or lunch from Gianluca. Both he and his wife or the legendary Francesca pamper every customer, they are always cheerful, fun. 13/07/2024: Ambiente buio,sporco,vetrina con cose indefinite al suo interno,titolare che cerca di fare il simpaticone....piatti a dire poco indecenti...sono rimasti al 1970....pasta precotta e raffreddata sotto l acqua fredda dato che ha perso il suo colore e scotta la salsa messa sopra e tanta acqua sotto alla pasta stessa un roast beef indecente l unica cosa buona erano le rape rosse comprate gia cotte....l acqua ti arriva in bottiglie di vetro con il rigo del calcaree l olierà in tavola con olio che sembra di semi di infima qualità....un caffè che sembra d orzo....va bene che a pranzo il costo è di 10€ ma piuttosto un panino . Ci siamo capitati una volta ma sarà anche l ultima. Il posto avrebbe anche chance dato che è vicino ad un Grande ospedale (Careggi)ma così No.

19/04/2025: Locale in centro a Lucca, molto carino, contemporaneo e allegro nella proposta gastronomica con tanti piatti ben cucinati, tutti da condividere in modo divertente. Davvero ben fatta la frittura di acciughe, i due ragù assaggiati, la tartare, tutti sapori forti ma con buoni equilibri. Ah, ottimo anche il pane e buona la cantina, con tanti vini non scontati. Promossi.

13/04/2025: Posto consigliatissimo! Il menu spazia da piatti della tradizione a piatti con contaminazioni orientali. Tutto sfizioso, personale gentile e preparato. Nota positiva: il pane (buonissimo) fatto da loro che è possibile acquistare, conto adeguato a ciò che si mangia e si beve.
