08/08/2025: Today, August 8, 2025, for my sanity and out of respect for my taste buds, I have decided never to set foot in the so-called Pasticceria Gelateria Oreficeria Badiani again. I was already familiar with the staff's haughty attitude and snobbish attitude—almost a trademark—but until yesterday I tolerated it because the gelato was good. It was. In the past tense. And I emphasize it was. After years of absence, I return and find myself faced with a small glass of just one (and I repeat, JUST ONE) flavor for €3. I thought, "Well, maybe it will be a mystical experience, given their vaunted 'excellent quality raw materials'..." And instead, the twist: inedible. I pick up the hazelnut and find a sugar festival in my mouth: sweet enough to taste like a melted Mars bar. So much sugar it leaves a bitter aftertaste, and not in a poetic sense: truly sickening. "Never mind," I tell myself, "I'll make up for it with coffee in a glass." Ah, delusional. They serve me coffee in a glass cup, yes, but with those little ribbed inner cups that, if you're a barista and use them, you should be banned from the profession. Those who ask for glass do so for the thin rim, not to drink from a cheap ornament that destroys all the aroma. The coffee? Worse than the one from a hospital machine, and I say this with respect for hospital machines. Total? €4.80 for ice cream and coffee. That's not a markup, it's open-faced robbery. And speaking of 'excellent raw materials': do you happen to get your supplies from the discount section of supermarkets? Because the little jar I get at the discount store beats the one you handed me hands down. Goodbye, Badiani. And this time it's forever. As my grandmother used to say: praise yourself, smear yourself. Oh, and the famous lady at the cash register with the air of aristocratic superiority? She's gone too. Maybe she's finally tasted what you sell.

05/08/2025: Never go there again! While I used to be okay with the rudeness and snubbing of the ice cream/pastry shop staff, now, with the price hike, I'd rather not be snubbed. €4 SMALL CONE - ONE FLAVOR It was the first time I'd ever seen anything like that. While I used to wait at the cash register for the lady chatting with her friends, snubbing you, as she always did, now I prefer to go to better ice cream shops, and trust me, there are some in Florence!!! PS) AT LEAST WRITE THE RESPONSES TO REVIEWS YOURSELF AND NOT CHAT GPT, SO YOU CAN SEE ;)

26/07/2025: Cibo nella media, come tante trattorie nei dintorni, ma sicuramente in maleducazione ed antipatia questo posto vince il primo posto. Eravamo in tre di cui una bambina di 3 anni che non ha letteralmente toccato cibo ma alla richiesta di portare via la palla al pomodoro ancora intonsa ci è stato risposto “il proprietario non vuole che si porti via nulla, se si vuole si mangia qua”. Mai più.

17/07/2025: Qualità prezzo inaccettabile. Ambiente poco curato, servizio normale, antipasti normali, Fiorentina di bassissima qualità e cucinata in malo modo. Antipasti e Fiorentina per tre persone, 2 caffè acqua € 200 vino a parte.

24/04/2025: We had a wonderful lunch here at Agatha. It is really a place where the locals come. Friendly staff, no rush to free up the table, nice little terrace, away from the hordes of tourists.

17/07/2025: I was recommended this restaurant by the owner of my guest house. It was close by and easy to find. I walked in around 7:30pm on a Wednesday and was seated right away without a reservation. The atmosphere inside was welcoming and cozy. The staff was very kind and made an effort to help me order since I don’t speak Italian well. It was a comfortable and safe place to have a meal as a solo traveler. All of the food was really good and priced well. I had a pizza, water and a glass of wine, and a dessert for 28euros. Their menu was vast and I liked that they had choices for all courses.

13/07/2025: This is the place to go when you want to savor the authentic taste of Calabria. As true Calabrians, we felt right at home, both with the food and the hospitality of the owner and waiters. Superb pizza, light dough, and toppings in just the right quantities, yet explosive in flavor, all made with excellent ingredients. We can't wait to return!!!

03/06/2025: Very convenient place for a quick lunch break. The menu is rich and varied, with attention to vegetarians and vegans. The prices are fair, the quality good. The service is really fast and efficient: the boys and girls are brilliant, kind and smiling.

09/05/2025: Ho notato che non danno gli scontrini,un caffè e una pasta 4 euro e 50, poi vera una porta che pensavo era la toilette e preparavano i cornetti congelati, i NAS? speriamo vadano .Evitatelo

22/06/2025: Small place but great for takeaway. The pizzas and focaccias are really good and also the farinata (or calda calda, if you prefer) is really phenomenal. They also offer snack solutions and various sweets for the afternoon snack. The prices are also very fair. Absolutely recommended

22/07/2025: Really good food, but here's another place you'll want to cross out. There are no longer places where you can grab a first course and go, and spend a reasonable amount. My wife and I, two first courses and two 33cl bottled beers, came to €38. Plus, it's not even a restaurant, it's a kiosk. Ridiculous and exorbitant prices. €15 for a plate of tortelli...

31/05/2025: Very pleasant place, which maintains its typical vintage look. Excellent location in the beautiful Piazza S. Francesco The pastry shop is very well stocked. Also recommended for a quick snack.

30/06/2025: I don't usually write negative reviews but in this case I hope it helps us improve. We booked for a family dinner. The products were quite good but heavy overall. For example, my Marzamemi sandwich with caramelized onions, tuna and dried tomatoes was incredibly greasy (maybe the ingredients weren't drained enough!) I asked for some chips on the side and was told they had nachos (basically the ones in a bag and put in a bowl). The desserts were quite good but we struggled to finish them because they were cloying. The bill of 107 euros for 4 with a 20% The Fork discount so 26.75 per person seemed excessive to me especially because we weren't satisfied.

30/05/2025: Sushi buonissimo , siamo stati 2 sere di seguito dove nella prima abbiamo mangiato solo sushi e la seconda sera abbiamo provato antipasti e primi piatti . Sinceramente pur avendo mangiato bene in entrambe le occasioni abbiamo optato che il sushi è veramente di livello. Torneremo presto consigliandolo anche ad amici che presto saranno ad Arezzo
