14/08/2026: We arrived Friday morning at 7:00 a.m.; the website stated the establishment would open at that time, but it didn't. They immediately gave us a room, which unfortunately hadn't been cleaned yet (hairs on the floor, dust everywhere), except for the bathroom fixtures and bed. Upon returning, we went to the beach, and the room was clean as requested and smelled fresh. The only flaw was the lack of maintenance for the price: broken/damaged furniture, a rocking bed, a dirty/damaged shower tray, the same showerhead (broken, with limescale buildup both in the shower and the one next to the toilet), no bidet, no courtesy kit, only old toilet paper, not even hand soap, and a hair dryer that's inconvenient because it only works as strong as air to dry your hands. I recommend bringing your own for women. The sunbeds and umbrellas are all fine, but there's only a foot fountain, and showers are paid for, even for guests staying at the hotel. Half board isn't worth it; breakfast is poorly organized; there's no menu available, not even a buffet. From what I saw, only snacks, croissants, toast, coffee, and juices. Dinner with a choice of dishes. Overall, a nice, convenient place right on the beach, but overpriced for what's on offer. If there was more maintenance and attention to both the facility and the food, it would be worth the price. It's a shame, but it has great potential!
05/08/2026: Yesterday, August 4th, on the occasion of the feast of San Domenico, while looking for a parking space, we were attracted by the availability of the manager of the "Il Poggio" beach club, Mr. Ivan, who offered us parking, a bar, and to admire the fireworks display. We were welcomed with warmth and kindness by his wife Raffaella, who in turn offered us a delicious, carefully prepared and beautifully presented menu. It was a pleasant discovery, a beautiful evening concluded with the marvelous fireworks display. We will definitely be back.
