12/07/2025: I made a reservation in person for the next day, saying I'd arrive between 7:30 and 8:00. They told me, "Okay, no problem." I showed up (with two children, ages 7 and 2) at 8:10 and was rudely told I was running late and had to eat in 15 minutes because they were giving the table away at 8:30. When I protested, they raised their voices and ultimately refused to let me sit. Never again.

22/06/2025: We went to this restaurant with our family, but unfortunately the experience was ruined by a very serious incident: while our 6-year-old son was drinking normally from a glass, it broke in his mouth without any particular prompting. Fortunately, thanks to the child's promptness, there were no serious consequences, but it was a huge scare. The glasses had a particular design, with a visibly thinner edge: a questionable choice for a place that also serves families with children. Instead of showing empathy or taking some form of responsibility, the owner immediately distanced herself, saying that she could not answer for the quality of the glasses. A truly unprofessional reaction, considering that they are the ones who choose the dishes with which they serve customers. After the incident, no one approached our table again: no assistance, no offer of dessert or coffee, and above all no checks to verify the child's condition. When it came to the bill, no further apology. A treatment that can only be described as inadequate. A real shame, because a minimum of attention and humanity was enough to transform an accident into an opportunity to demonstrate seriousness and respect towards customers. Instead, it remains only a bad impression and a terrible experience.

25/07/2025: A good aperitif for €20 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with an all-you-can-eat buffet offering good food, a drink, and a small first course and dessert served by attentive staff. Excellent view of the dome, though a bit far away. We'll definitely return.

23/07/2025: Located on the rooftop of the NH Hotel, the terrace is stunning with a fantastic view! We went on a Tuesday evening, when they offer a €20 aperitif. The food is plentiful and very good (the panzanella is amazing), and the cocktails are also well-made (I recommend the Narciso). The service is very friendly. I recommend booking a few days in advance, as it's almost always fully booked during the aperitif.

11/08/2025: We called to order a pizza, and the staff wouldn't let us order for some unknown reason. It was a terrible experience, and it didn't even start. I'd recommend another pizzeria.

09/08/2025: Going to start by saying the food was very good, my compliments to the chef. However the service and experience was TERRIBLE. I'm not sure if the chef was having a bad day or not but he was being a little arrogant and standoffish. The guy looked depressed and upset the entire time too. Our first experience at a place like this, and it was ruined by a bad attitude. Not just us, others too.

05/08/2025: We visited Zeb about a week ago, curious to try the dishes many have spoken positively about, despite reading some less-than-glowing comments about the chef. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the hype. That day, they were only accepting cash, which made things tricky. As a group, we were limited in what we could order since there are no nearby ATMs. Regarding the chef—many of the comments were accurate. His manner was surprisingly rude, and there seemed to be a stark difference in how he treated Italian-speaking guests compared to others. He profoundly apologised to italian guests for the cash inconvinience and explained in detail where to find the closest ATM. English speaking customers merely got told in a cold manner about it. When my partner asked which pasta was creamy, like a carbonara, he was laughed at in a condescending manner and asked if he saw carbonara in the menu...which is not what he meant at all. While I understand the chef has crafted this menu, the way it’s presented, with pressure to decide on the spot, makes it difficult to ask questions without feeling belittled. It definitely took away from the overall dining experience. While the chef was reading the menu, the waiter came to pour us some water. As the chef wants undivided attention, he stopped reading the menu and we all awkwardly watched this poor waiter shake while trying to pour 4 glasses of water. Only when finished, did the chef continue reading the menu. It was awful to watch. As for the food: of the three dishes we tried, only one stood out—the ravioli with pear. Unfortunately, the peposo was overwhelmingly peppery and unbalanced, and the rice-filled tomato was bland and underwhelming—something you’d expect from a basic home recipe or a generic restaurant. Disappointingly, the dishes we were most looking forward to, the lengua and tripe, weren’t available that day. Overall, the experience was disappointing—from the atmosphere to the food and service. Given the prices and michelin recommendation, we expected more warmth, flavour, and hospitality. I look forward to come back to Florence but never returning to Zeb. I don't think its worth ruining your day/night in the hope of trying some good food (which wasn't even the case for us). The atmosphere and terrible experience with the chef left us all feeling uneasy, unhappy and dissapointed.

04/02/2025: Negative experience, we came here on Sunday, the place was practically empty, they told us that they would prepare one of the free tables for us (there were 3 of us, an adult and two children, ed.), but then they came back from the kitchen and told us that the table they had prepared for us was needed to add to a table and so we had to go elsewhere without being able to eat.

29/07/2025: A very pretty and relaxing location, with our table right by the pool. The tranquil atmosphere made dinner even more enjoyable. The food was excellent, with innovative and well-executed combinations, like the tuna with peach, truly delicious; I highly recommend it! All the pasta and even the bread are homemade, a detail that shines through in the quality. For our first course, we had a chitarra pasta with red prawns and truffle: excellent ingredients, beautifully showcased. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing dinner, with excellent ingredients and a touch of originality.

26/07/2025: Close to the sea but not on it, a quiet spot surrounded by greenery with a lovely pool. We were warmly welcomed by a young woman who was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and cheerful. The appetizers were good, and the food was generally well-prepared. Sometimes the execution didn't live up to the description: the tagliata on the menu was actually a thin slice, and the paprika-crusted picana was delicious, but you couldn't taste the paprika (if a customer orders paprika-flavored food, it's assumed they love that flavor and want it in that dish). The value for money justifies the stop.

03/06/2025: We were in San Quirico walking and were attracted by this little place. Welcomed by a very polite boy we sat down, the menu is written on a blackboard very readable. Pici all’aglione very good only flaw the pasta a little overcooked, veal with tuna sauce good even if the portion a little small, while the cheese cake stratospheric. Few wines but quality. Excellent value for money

27/05/2025: Knowing that we are not locals they brought us a spit of drink passed off as normal, when it was very obvious that it was not. They think they are being smart but by doing so they lose customers, in fact all the other evenings we spent elsewhere, they were happy

06/08/2025: Le cadre de ce restaurant est sans conteste son atout principal : installé au pied d’une superbe coupole, il offre un décor enchanteur, notamment en terrasse au coucher du soleil. Le personnel est aimable et attentionné, bien que parfois un peu maladroit (oubli d’un verre de vin facturé, couteau inadapté pour la viande). Côté cuisine, les antipasti et primi piatti sont savoureux et généreux. En revanche, le célèbre steak à la florentine, bien que magnifiquement présenté, s’est révélé décevant tant par sa cuisson que par son accompagnement, un peu sec, surtout au vu du prix élevé (minimum 70 €). En somme, une jolie expérience, idéale pour un dîner en couple, mais qui ne figure pas parmi les meilleures adresses de Florence.

02/04/2025: From the moment I arrived at Villa San Michele, I was struck by its timeless elegance.What makes this villa truly unique is its blend of heritage and modern art. During my time there, the villa was hosting a collaboration with Galleria Continua, showcasing the iconic works of Beijing-based artists Sun Yuan & Peng Yu. Their exhibition, exploring the theme of “Identity In Space,” added an avant-garde touch to the villa’s historical context of the villa. I had the immense privilege of photographing a luxury destination wedding at Villa San Michele, and as a luxury photographer who works with many exquisite venues, I can confidently say it is unlike any other. From the golden-hour glow over Florence to the villa’s historic interiors, the variety of breathtaking locations offered endless opportunities for capturing perfect moments. I should note that the villa’s commitment to excellence is reflected not only in its stunning spaces but also in its exceptional staff, who are attentive, courteous and hospitable to one whether they are a guest or a visitor. To me, the latter is a sign of true hospitality! I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend villa San Michele and I plan to visit again, this time for an extended stay with my wife next time I am in Florence!

L’atmosfera è calda, autentica, ricca di storia e sapori veri. Ogni dettaglio, dall’accoglienza del personale alla cura nei piatti, racconta passione e tradizione. Il menù è un viaggio tra le eccellenze umbre, con materie prime di altissima qualità e una preparazione che esalta i sapori senza mai snaturarli. La pasta fatta in casa è semplicemente straordinaria, e la carne – tenera, saporita, cotta alla perfezione – è un’esperienza da non perdere. Da menzionare anche la selezione di vini locali, perfettamente abbinata ai piatti. Il servizio è attento ma mai invadente, con personale sorridente e competente che ti fa sentire subito a casa.
