04/10/2025: Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience. Unpresentable appetizers. Overcooked spaghetti with seafood. We reported it and they acknowledged that the dishes were unpresentable. Despite the fact that out of nine people, only one ate, and she ordered a Catalana (the only good dish). €35 per person, not including dinner! I'm sorry, but I strongly advise against it.

24/09/2025: It was a pleasant surprise. We ate deliciously and received such attentive service from the staff! We'll definitely be back. Thanks to Matteo and the entire staff!

05/10/2025: Good, but the tortelli were lightly seasoned and the ragù was very dry, so the rest of the dishes were good, but I didn't want to eat them. Those who wanted less could use a little more wine and broth. That was it.

02/11/2025: One Sunday in early October, we found ourselves in Santa Fiora with our dog, without having booked for lunch! Luckily, we were welcomed at Enoteca Aldobrandesca with extreme kindness, delicious dishes, water, and cuddles for our dog Bella. Recommended!

26/08/2025: Given that the place was half-empty, they seated us in a damp, pungently smelling basement space, which could have been considered "typical," and we were the only table occupied. When it came time to order (taglieri, lampredotto, crostoni, etc.), we asked for two bottles of water: the owner, in an annoyed and rude tone, turned around and, as he walked away, said, "Yeah, okay, but I sell wine." At that point, we preferred to get up and leave. This kind of attitude, especially toward tourists, is the reason why certain places and businesses will die: when it's too late, perhaps they'll understand how they should have treated tourists/customers. P.S.: We ate an excellent sandwich across the street, spending a fifth of what we would have spent inside. Edit in response to the restaurant: Probably "the gentleman" told her the facts his way, and she thought it best to misrepresent the rest of the story: 1- We didn't order "2 small bottles of water," but platters (€25), lampredotto (€9.50), pappa al pomodoro (€9), crostone (€8) + 2 large bottles of water (€5) + 4 place settings (€6) (otherwise, what would have been the order you're referring to?!) 2- "Simply pointed out"?! As soon as we said "two bottles of water, please," he stopped writing the order, literally snatched the menus out of our hands, and, walking away annoyed, said, "Yeah, fine, but I sell wine." 3. Being polite people, he calmly and ironically said, "We didn't understand, you only sell wine," just to make "the gentleman" think about whether he might have been misplaced (obviously a failed attempt). 4. Regarding the calculations you made, reread point 1 and you'll understand that you were referring to the cost we would have paid with you compared to what we paid elsewhere (but then, excuse me, a garlic and oil bruschetta on the menu costs €4, and you come and tell us that the cured meat sandwich (not on the menu) costs €3?) Let me give you a piece of advice: "Even if you're no longer young, mistakes can happen; an apology would have been enough."

24/05/2025: Sweet, small cafe outside Siena. Happened upon it leaving the chaotic, lack of tourismo parking, Siena. Had a delicious pranzo and enjoyed conversing with the lovely lady running the ristorante.

09/10/2025: We had a lovely evening. The wine recommendation was excellent, and the food was also good. Excellent value for money!

04/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant yesterday by chance. The wait staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, even promptly responding to our request to move and light the fire pit to keep our two-month-old baby warm. The food was excellent, the wait time was normal for freshly prepared dishes, and the wine was also worth it. They accept dogs and were kind enough to provide a bowl of water if needed. I really liked that the chef (and I assume the owner) walked around the tables to make sure everything was okay, but without being intrusive. I highly recommend it and thank them for the wonderful evening we spent there.

01/08/2025: La Rocca at Castelfalfi is a dream come true if you enjoy masterfully prepared dishes that are composed of locally sourced ingredients and combine flavor and texture in ways you can't imagine. Chef Davide De Simone and his crew really outdid themselves with incredible combinations. Every course of the tasting menu was exceptional and creative, but the escargots and the risotto just blew us away. As always, the people make the difference, in our case Mr Jacopo made us feel at home from the minute we stepped into the gorgeous dining room. His knowledge of the dishes, ingredients and preparation techniques was outstanding, but above all he was a kind person with a captivating smile - and outstanding Spanish skills :-) Thank.you for a wonderful evening, Valeria and Daniel

05/10/2025: A truly charming place. We stumbled upon it almost by chance and were treated like regulars. The handmade tordelli alla carrarina were truly delicious. It's not a trendy place, but a typical osteria where you can eat really well. Highly recommended, excellent value.

07/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance on our way back from the Tuscan hinterland. Given the sheer choice, we decided to try several dishes, listening to the owner's expert advice. Superlative home-cooked dishes... a full stomach and a happy wallet! Highly recommended.

23/11/2025: After the "so-so" experience a few years ago (4 of us had 3 desserts and the bill showed 5, luckily we checked again when we left because we felt we had spent a bit too much) we wanted to try again... Good pizza, nothing to say... poor and approximate service... waiting 1 hour for 2 pizzas seems a bit excessive to me... a bit "exorbitant" in the prices... 1 coffee €2.60 not even in Forte dei Marmi... also, like the previous time, even if only by 1 euro the bill was wrong... absolutely our fault for trying again... one thing is certain... we won't be back...

16/10/2025: The restaurant, located very close to Ponte Vecchio but away from the crowds, is truly charming, decorated with personality and flair. The food reflects the setting, with distinctive pairings and excellent quality. The drinks are equally impressive. I also find the radio, which you can listen to on amble.it, a fantastic plus.

13/10/2025: Found Amblé while escaping from the hoards down the street. It's a cute, hip café with fresh food and groovy sounds on a quiet corner. They also do live music on occasion. Looking forward to lunch again there soon!
