02/11/2025: Schiacciata with prosciutto 4.50 2 mini pizzas 1.60 x 2 = 3.20 Bottle of water 1.00 = Total 8.70 Not 13.20 as requested. I pointed out the mistake and was told there had been a price increase... I repeat, there was a calculation error, but the girl got really angry and called her brunette colleague (very kind and nice), telling her I was stupid and that I was annoying her. She very kindly gave me the correct change. What a way to treat customers! I will never set foot in this place again.

19/10/2025: We're sorry, but we're taking a couple of stars off the food list, not because of the quality, which we found to be truly excellent (coffee, homemade desserts, biscotti, and superb first courses), but because of the quantity. For the price, you'd expect a slightly more substantial dish. Seven tortelli for €12-13.50 seemed a bit low, even though they were homemade and made with excellent ingredients. Perhaps other dishes were more substantial, but I can't judge. The location, however, is excellent, right next to Lake Bilancino and convenient for us, as we had a camper in the rest area across the street.

10/11/2025: We went here for lunch. The place is well-maintained and well-kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding and the prices are above average, but adequate for the quality. I recommend it for a special occasion. The wine is also excellent. For two, with a bottle of wine, a water, a coffee, two appetizers, a first course, a second course, and a dessert, we spent €104. Highly recommended.

03/11/2025: Good food. I enjoyed everything about the food. For the quantity, we even paid a fair price. Two appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, a dessert, two glasses of wine, and water, we spent 50 euros each. The owner and waiters were very kind. I will definitely be back again.

10/09/2025: Excellent place to try delicious and excellent seafood! 🐟 We came here to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We ordered a seafood crudité, which was truly excellent. I, who don't like oysters, ordered two more (and my husband, being a true Apulian, also ordered two more, and he thought they were excellent!!). We continued with three first courses (pasta with clams) and one mixed fried fish dish, which was truly impeccable. You can taste the chef's love for cooking in the dishes, and especially the owner's passion for serving top-quality, fresh ingredients! If you want to eat good seafood, this is the place!

05/09/2025: Wonderful place with delicious seafood. Raw, sauted, deep fried, always perfect with sense of taste. Wide choice of desserts and very intering wine card. Reasonable prices.

27/08/2025: It's a shame that the negatives prevail because the food is good. The positives: Excellent dishes like the risotto and the panna cotta, but they lack refinement. A sublime setting in the middle of nowhere. The negatives: The reservation, where I had specified that it was to celebrate a birthday, was not noted, and if I hadn't received the reservation email, I think we would have been politely told to leave. You can imagine that there was no attention paid to the birthday party. We clearly felt like we were intruding and/or they were overwhelmed because there was an extra table. The wait was very long, and longer than the tables next to us. There were two adults and a child. The child got his meal first and had time to eat it before we were served... No apologies from them, shifty looks from the waitresses... The other tables had a basket with salt, pepper, olive oil, etc. available. Not us... Very, very little choice for the children. In short, behaving like this towards customers is completely unprofessional. While wanting to share my experience, I saw that I wasn't the only one to have experienced this.

26/08/2025: Stunning location, meticulously maintained and surrounded by nature, a relaxing atmosphere, and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. As for the food, the charcuterie and cheese platter was among the best I've ever had, and the wine was excellent, too.

25/10/2025: A busy restaurant in the center of Viareggio, with average food and service. A place that caters to large numbers of customers, where you can't really provide much attention.

15/10/2025: Very average cuisine, the quantity is there, perhaps even too much on some dishes, but the quality is not there...

28/10/2025: The Fungi pizza had canned mushrooms, the dough was okay, the carbonara was cold and tasteless... not recommended! Just look inside towards the kitchen and restrooms. That's enough to take your appetite away.

25/10/2025: Even though it is very central, we discovered it by chance because the ferry to Sardinia had not left due to bad weather. We found home-made Neapolitan cuisine.

19/09/2025: The staff were friendly, but if you don't order the third course, they ask you: "Are you finished yet?" "Not even dessert?" "Already?" I ordered "Zuccia" from the menu. I asked for clarification, and was told, "It's similar to cacciucco." When they brought the bowl of liquid broth with two picturesque celery sticks, I wanted to get up and leave. I'm writing this review so that others don't fall into this same disappointing situation.

22/08/2025: Excellent experience 10 minutes from Volterra, the room was renovated and very quiet. Small defects in the shower box but nothing major... Value for money 10 and praise. Thanks

06/06/2025: Mein Lieblingsrestaurant seit 1981 - mit 5 war ich zum ersten Mal in der damals ganz neuen Trattoria, die sich im Laufe der Jahre zu einem hervorragenden Restaurant mit lokaler Küche entwickelt hat. Es gibt keine „Spielereien“ sondern das pure Geschmackserlebnis aus besten lokalen Zutaten. Und alles hält die wunderbare Irma zusammen. Der gute Geist und die umsichtige Chefin.

22/09/2025: My wife and I stopped at the piadineria to try a salad, which I have to say was very good, as were the fries we shared. The only downside is that when you need to pick up piadinas or other items, you have to go through a small, rather inconvenient window, and for drinks, you have to go through the counter. Honestly, I find this a rather inconvenient option.

11/11/2025: We went to this restaurant/pizzeria and had a great time. We had two pizzas, and the dough was good. We definitely have to try their food. The prices and service were fast and friendly. The prices were more than reasonable.
