13/09/2025: Very comfortable atmosphere both summer and winter, excellent service, and excellent pizza, especially the Villa Paola. It's a shame they don't have draft beer. Ample parking.

26/08/2025: The place is really cute; in the summer, tables are set up outside in a quaint courtyard, surrounded by greenery and lit by pretty strings of fairy lights. It's a real shame about the waitress's "welcome"; as soon as we were seated, she asked us all to choose the same dish "because we only have four burners." When I replied, citing our different needs (one person is vegetarian and the other doesn't eat fish), she replied with an annoyed expression, "Do as you wish, I warned you. Don't complain if you eat separately afterwards."... is this a restaurant or not? 🤣 We ordered two grilled fish and two identical first courses anyway, to make things easier for the kitchen; the other diners chose two other first courses (including vegetarian busiate pasta with basil cream) and a grilled meat. The other waiters were kind and professional, and the wait for our dishes wasn't long. The first courses are good and tasty, the grilled fish is lightly seared (the squid and shrimp are almost raw, so if you don't like it, let us know in advance). The prices are a bit high compared to the local average.

20/04/2026: I went there for lunch last week - there was one waiter who seemed super stressed and took a very long time for bringing the menu, taking the order and getting the bill. The food was horrendous - microwaved pasta: cold inside, burned outside.

18/04/2026: Excellent value for money. The best restaurant in the area during a 4-day trip around the region.

12/05/2026: We ate one seafood couscous; the semolina was reheated in the microwave right in front of us. I had food poisoning for three days; I think the seafood wasn't fresh. We were the first customers of the day, and they probably served us leftovers from the day before. I really don't recommend it. AVOID

10/05/2026: Tasteless fish couscous (€12 per portion) with two fish fillets on top (hospital-grade) labeled as snapper, but soft in texture and awful in flavor—definitely defrosted pangasius—and a watery, flavorless broth. I've never eaten such awful couscous. I felt cheated. This isn't a restaurant. Avoid!

27/07/2026: A terrible experience, and I think that's an understatement! I went to this place a few days ago with my family for dinner and to celebrate a birthday. There were no good things to say. We arrived, we had a table reserved, and we asked if we could eat inside due to the excessive heat. Our request was denied. The reason? None, no table was set inside, and the only person who could benefit from the air conditioning was the owner. When ordering, no dishes were set up for shared tastings (the place lends itself to large tables, in fact, that's all there was). Everything is individual. When we asked if we could sample the best items, we were told to choose what was on the menu. The result was a far cry from what we expected. The bathroom? One for men and women only, dirty and smelly. The restaurant staff tries their best, but the conditions don't allow it. That evening, everyone was truly exhausted, and the worst part is that there's no respect for the employees; everyone is outside dying of the heat, while the owner is inside in the cold. The food as a whole, both the appetizers and the main courses, isn't exactly good quality. It's average to poor. The first courses had nothing that stood out in terms of flavor. We asked for the meat to be cooked medium-rare, and it arrived rare. We then asked for it to be cooked rarer, but the result was overcooked. Finally, the bill: outrageous!!! No value for money! We definitely won't be returning, and I strongly advise against it!

25/07/2026: We were there on Easter Monday. The day began with a tasting of Panini con le Pennelle, Pane Cunzato, and Sfincione. Everything was delicious and plentiful. Once lunch began, the first problems arose: we were seated at 1:00 PM and the appetizers were served at 2:30 PM, continuing very slowly with the other courses as well. The service left much to be desired, both in serving and clearing the table; they made three of us dirty. Finally, I gave my Cassatella to a child and asked if I could have another. They told me they were serving one per person and they didn't have any left. Overall, the lunch was nothing special.

07/05/2026: The food was excellent, the staff very friendly, and the drinks (wine, beer, and cocktails) were of high quality.

04/10/2025: I was here this summer and I must say it was a truly pleasant experience. The staff is exceptionally friendly and kind, with a warmth that truly reflects the Sicilian spirit and makes you feel instantly at home. The prices are more than fair: €20 for a beach umbrella and two front-row loungers is a real luxury, considering that where I'm from, the same price is just for parking for a day at the beach. Highly recommended for those seeking relaxation, a warm welcome, and the authentic flavors of Sicily.

25/06/2026: A fantastic experience, absolutely worth trying! If you're in Mazara del Vallo and looking for a pizza that will blow your mind, American Style is the place! The pizza is simply excellent: the dough is fabulous, incredibly light and easy to digest, a true work of art. I've tried both the seafood and meat versions (the seafood is exceptional), and the toppings are all top-quality, even when frozen, and generous. To top it all off, the service is exquisite: the staff is super friendly, courteous, and always smiling. I'll definitely be back!

09/06/2026: I can only offer my sincerest compliments to this beach, which truly deserves top marks in every respect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with extraordinary kindness and helpfulness. I had a small dog with me, and with great courtesy and sensitivity, not only was I allowed access, but the entire staff worked hard to ensure he was comfortable and at ease. This attention is by no means a given these days, and I greatly appreciated it. I would also like to extend special praise to the lifeguards, true professionals. In particular, I would like to thank one lifeguard whose name I unfortunately don't know: when I had a small problem with my son, he immediately intervened with great promptness, demonstrating clarity, competence, and an extraordinary ability to manage the situation. Beyond the speed of his response, what struck me most was his kindness, attentiveness, and the reassurance he conveyed to all of us. He was truly impeccable. Experiences like this make all the difference and demonstrate how behind a facility there are people who work with passion, professionalism, and heart. I recommend this beach without the slightest hesitation and will be delighted to return. Congratulations to all the staff for the exceptional work they do every day: you are an example of hospitality, attention, and professionalism. Well done! 👏🌟🏖️

15/07/2026: An absolute disgrace: appalling service, aggressiveness, and outrageous value for money. We had booked a table to admire the sunset over the salt marshes with our family. While the experience started rather well with a reservation honored and a table ready, the rest was a complete fiasco. The service was catastrophic, disorganized, and oppressive. The waiters almost cleared away our appetizers before we had even finished eating them! Furthermore, the timing of the drinks was absurd: our two glasses of wine arrived while we were finishing our main courses. To top it all off, these glasses of "Calice Bianco" wine were served blindly at the table, without being shown the bottle or its origin. As for the food, the dishes were utterly unremarkable. The salad arrived without dressing, and despite our repeated requests, we never received it. The worst part came when it came time to pay the bill (€186 for 5 people). When I politely expressed my dissatisfaction with the poor service, the head waiter—already unpleasant during the meal—became aggressive. He actually shoved my wife. When she pointed out his actions and told him the least he could do was apologize, his response was ludicrous and utterly disrespectful: "You should pay first!" We were treated like dirt. To top it all off, the promise of a beautiful setting is a lie: the sunset view is constantly ruined by the continuous stream of tourists crowding right in front of the tables. Paying such a price for such aggressive service, such amateurishness, and such mediocre quality is unacceptable. Honestly, avoid this place; this establishment is only interested in taking your money at the expense of basic respect.

15/07/2026: It's one of those experiences you have to have at least once in your life... And what about the salt flats out front, which at sunset turn orange and then pink, and the sun slowly disappearing behind Favignana!

05/06/2026: A truly comfortable hotel, with beautifully appointed rooms, especially for a three-star hotel. I'm very satisfied with the staff, the helpful and professional girls, especially Ylenia, but also Sonia and Mr. Nicola. This is my fourth time here and I'm getting better and better every time. 10/05/2026: We stayed one night at this 3-star hotel in Scopello, paying €100 for a very basic room—a price I might have understood if the service had lived up to the reviews and the hotel's high rating. Unfortunately, however, the experience was truly awful. As soon as we arrived, we were struck by a terrible stench throughout the hotel. The worst part was definitely breakfast. Several products seemed clearly expired or poorly stored: we ate pan di stelle (a kind of sweet bread) that tasted terrible, the expired toast, and even the chocolate cereal was inedible. My boyfriend was sick all day after breakfast with food poisoning symptoms, and we had to cancel the entire day. Furthermore, the hotel offers virtually no special amenities, making the price even more unjustified. Overall, a very disappointing experience and definitely not worthy of a 3-star rating.

21/07/2026: Very average and probably the worst meal of the holiday. Lasagne literally looked like it came out of a microwave container. Tasted okay but not amazing- had to send the wine back initially the first jug tasted so bad. Has to ask for bread for the table. They did replace the wine but no discount. There's so many better places to eat locally, such a shame we chose this for our last night.
