25/08/2025: I recently had breakfast at this café, which left me quite disappointed, both for the prices and the service. Two of us sat down and ordered a plain croissant, a vegan croissant, and two oat milks, one with decaf coffee. When the receipt arrived, we noticed that it listed items different from those we actually ordered. However, the cashier reassured me that the prices were the same. We paid €8.50, an amount I've only seen in tourist spots, not in a neighborhood café. The service was disappointing. The waiter repeatedly got our order wrong, taking it back several times. Although I love eating out for breakfast, this experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. I hope the café can improve both its prices and service, so that customers can enjoy a more pleasant and hassle-free experience.

15/07/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at this splendid seafront restaurant in Scopello, and the experience was simply unforgettable. The location is picture-perfect: a breathtaking view of the sea makes the atmosphere magical, especially at sunset. We began with an appetizer of the freshest raw fish, with an authentic seafood flavor. This was followed by a varied and abundant mixed seafood appetizer, with balanced and carefully crafted combinations. The first course, with shrimp and pistachios, was a true masterpiece: flavorful, creamy, and rich in Mediterranean aromas. We concluded with a crispy and light fried fish platter, showcasing the freshness of the catch. The service was impeccable: the staff is friendly, courteous, and always attentive to the customer's needs, without ever being intrusive. A restaurant that combines excellent quality, a beautiful setting, and authentic hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-end gastronomic experience in Scopello.

27/06/2025: The view is beautiful and we have been welcomed very well at first, cannot critic anything about that. My problem started when the waitress who seemed nice negotiated with us so we take a bottle because we ordered two glasses of wine, then we wanted calamari fritti for the starter ( which was the cheapest on the menu) but she lied saying that there was not anymore. For the main dish I ordered roasted swordfish, she can back 5 minutes after to ask me if vegetables roasted as the side is good for me, I thought it was included with the fish but it was 10€, for a plate of plain vegetable without salt or anything to make them look good. I asked for the fish roasted and it was breaded, and it was really bad. The food was bad and flavourless, most of it felt no local and industrial. At this price I was expecting a higher quality : 95.5€ for two people without dessert with a waitress that was explicitly trying to push us to order the maximum and the most expensive stuff For way cheaper we have been to Nettuno which I would consider fine dining

22/04/2025: Il locale è molto carino, essendo ancora fresco e ventoso ci siamo accomodati all’interno , abbiamo gustato un ottima pizza , la Siciliana, buono l’impasto basso, con pomodoro, salsiccia, burrata, ragusano e una granella di pistacchio, la cottura al forno a legna perfetta, ottima la birra locale e poi per finire il fantastico Bacio accompagnato dal Passito Donnafugata, il servizio è veloce e attento. Conto finale, due pizze, due Baci una birra e due Passiti 73 euro ci stanno.

02/09/2025: The best things about the restaurant were the baked and fried potatoes and the draft red beer, which I don't expect from a steakhouse. Another thing I don't expect is for a restaurant that prides itself on cooking its meat to six different degrees of doneness to serve a slice of young beef (requested medium rare) that was medium rare and cold. Finally, the most disappointing aspect is the service: waiters who don't care about the customer, bringing a dish to the table that wasn't ordered (I merely asked if it was available). I absolutely do not recommend eating at this restaurant, ever again.

20/08/2025: The drink was very good, and the waiters were very friendly, however the service was very slow, more than an hour for the snack to arrive and it was very dry.

13/09/2025: Booked online through the website (€30 per person + tax) with advance payment, for a unique aperitivo, especially for the view. They reserve the first tables facing the spectacular salt pans and include two drinks of your choice, including a variety of cocktails, including premium spirits and/or champagne, the classic chips and peanuts, and crostini with fresh fish and cherry tomatoes. The atmosphere is truly TOP, the staff are very welcoming and attentive to their needs, and the venue is very characteristic. It also has a spectacular terrace, which can be accessed by booking online for about double the price (€65 per person). There is plenty of parking both immediately in front of the venue and at the entrance, and the background music is pleasant with an excellent selection. A very positive experience.

14/08/2025: The food was a disappointment in terms of taste, and we weren't the only guests that evening who had to wait almost an hour for the main course. The "eggplant appetizer" was served without eggplant, and our complaint was silently ignored.

23/08/2025: The hotel is dated but has a beautiful view. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The showers need some work!

16/07/2025: We stayed one night at Torre Bennistra and we were so glad that it was only for one night. The hotel is long overdue for a renovation. The room has very old furniture and barely any amenities. The AC didn’t work well. The only good thing about the hotel was the sea view. We didn’t have breakfast so I cannot say anything about it. The hotel staff was friendly, though and it is near to all the bars and restaurants.

21/04/2025: After a year I wanted to eat the Easter menu with my son at Easter Less simple and effective. Everything fresh, not to mention the bread with Spleen…. For the first time I ate homemade bread, and it wasn't stringy Indeed!!! It went very well with the spleen. Highly recommended! I recommend both for lunch, but especially for dinner where they offer delicious pizzas and American menus

17/07/2025: After searching online for a place to dine that felt as authentic as possible, serving traditional cuisine, we chose this one. And our expectations were more than confirmed! Mr. Paolo's welcome was impeccable and always attentive, without ever being intrusive. His wife's cooking is more memorable than a souvenir. You'll see why from the photos! Highly recommended, but go on an empty stomach!
