An exceptional lunch with high-quality, ultra-fresh ingredients: the busiate pasta with sardines, a frionfo of gizzard, the pasta with shrimp, peas, and artichokes with a delicate buttata, the fresh and delicious fried cod, and the roasted octopus, which doesn't need fava bean purée to soften it, but the combination is definitely worth trying. If we return to Gibellina, this is a must-try!

22/02/2026: I had the pleasure of lunch at the Cotto & Mangiato restaurant, nestled in the countryside, with a truly splendid view of manicured fields and vineyards. A truly charming place, perfect for a relaxing Sunday.
The food was truly excellent. The Sunday menu is varied and interesting, although, if I may offer a small suggestion, I would add a few more first courses to further expand the selection.
The first courses we tried were excellent, plentiful, well-balanced, and flavorful.
For the second course, we had the mixed grill, with well-cooked, tender, and high-quality meat. A very positive note, though not always obvious, is the perfect amount of salt, which balances the dishes without overpowering the flavors.
The service was attentive and friendly; the lady who served us was truly kind and hospitable, making us feel at ease.
The ambiance is another strong point: an elegant yet rustic setting, meticulously maintained and in harmony with the natural surroundings.
Overall, a very positive experience. It's a place I recommend for anyone looking for good food in a truly beautiful location.

03/01/2025: Ottima cucina casalinga con il sorriso e con porzioni supergenerose.
Siamo arrivati da vegetariani chiedendoci se avremmo trovato qualcosa, dopo aver visto il menu con molti piatti di carne: siamo usciti felici e satolli, dopo svariati antipasti, due primi, frutta e dolce. La signora ci ha raccomandato di avvisare la prossima volta, per preparare pure un secondo vegetariano, ma non ci sarebbe proprio stato! :-)
Un posto bello e buono, con aria e ospitalità di casa.
