14/04/2026: I hadn't been here in a while. The carbonara was unforgettable, and the salmon farfalle were epic. I hadn't had such a good carbonara in ages, perfect in every way. The panelle and crocché were excellent, as per Palermo tradition. The place was clean and welcoming. The staff was very polite and helpful. The prices were as low as I remembered. Returned on 12/4/26, spectacular as always.

12/10/2025: Indescribable flavors, from a simple salad to a delicious swordfish. Homemade bread! The service is as Sicilian as can be, enjoying a typical Italian restaurant. Small portions, but I suppose that's because you have to follow in their footsteps for the first and second appetizers. And of course, they are. Don't miss this; it's worth it, simple and of good quality. I took the photos just to show you because they don't do justice to the flavor... We ordered a mixed salad (the best I've had from Rome to Palermo), swordfish, and if you like sardines, the pulpets, which you'll never believe could be made with sardines. Excellent, I loved it.

The first thing I noticed was the dirtiness of the chairs, which were covered in stains and food residue. The glasses were smelly and appeared not to have been washed properly. The table was set with dirty forks and knives, which immediately made me wonder about the quality of the service. The food, unfortunately, was subpar. The fish was low-quality and undercooked. The flavor was bland and the texture was mushy. The service, rather than being friendly and attentive, was slow and inattentive. The waiters seemed more interested in closing the bill than ensuring customer satisfaction. In short, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The filth, low-quality food, and poor service make this place a real disaster. We recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs.

20/04/2026: Compliments on the place, compliments on the appetizers, compliments on the pizzas, really good, fantastic service, everything ok. There's one thing that's not quite right: the bathroom is dirty all the way down, and there was no hand sanitizer. My hands were all oily, or I had to wash them with just water. But everything else in the place is fine. I'm only talking about the bathroom. You just need to clean the bathroom very often, and you need to be clean in the bathroom. 13/04/2026: We've been there several times, and I had better memories! It's not that it's terrible, but I wasn't that thrilled! Especially the pizza dough! Maybe it's the crowds, the full tables, and the orders that have to be managed that have lowered the quality a bit. The staff was kind and helpful, but they were always running around, and when we asked for an extra dish or a bottle of water... it took half an hour or not at all! Definitely competitive prices! Live music made for a pleasant evening!

16/03/2026: I celebrated my daughter's graduation party and we were very satisfied. The staff is very attentive to every request, the spaces are spacious and new, the buffet food was served a little cold but was good and very varied. The first courses and desserts were excellent. I recommend it.

The signature dish is undoubtedly the focaccia with spleen, best eaten piping hot, freshly made. The location is sublime, with outdoor tables set in the space in front of the beautiful Church of San Francesco d'Assisi.

Once I'd cut it into portions, it completely fell apart; inside, it had the consistency of pudding, nothing like the original dessert: the bravest ones had to taste it with a spoon. I made a fool of myself (at €30 for the smallest portion), but they were no exception.

29/01/2026: December 26th, 7:45 PM, I called to ask if they were open and to buy tobacco with filters and papers. I informed them that I was a 5-minute walk away, due to road traffic, and the bar was closed, even though the owners were inside. They completely ignored me, even though I told them I had called 5 minutes earlier to make sure it was open. I'm giving it 1 star because 0 isn't possible, but in reality, you're below 0.

07/05/2026: Tip for the restaurant: Update your opening hours on Google Maps! We've been there twice, and it didn't open until two hours later. At 7:30 pm, there were no customers in the restaurant, while neighboring establishments were fully booked. It felt creepy. We paid for our drinks and left. Sorry.

23/12/2025: I had the pleasure of dining on a classic pizza tour at this place, and it was a pleasant discovery. The fries, thinly sliced ​​and with the skin on, were a perfect blend of flavor and crunch. And the pizzas were all delicious, with a surprise dessert to finish: churros with Nutella (amazing!!). The staff and hosts were incredibly kind, and we felt completely at ease. My only suggestion: the place should be updated aesthetically, removing all those unnecessary mirrors and brightening up the colors. The palate is fine, but the eye deserves its share too!!! 😉
