26/04/2025: A place where everything is taken care of, where everything is wonderful... from the good food to the professionalism of the staff and the care of the location... I always felt at ease at Gorgo del Drago... where Carlo and Francesco are always attentive to all the customer's needs.

07/05/2025: Io e mia madre siamo state trattate con sufficienza e sprezzo da parte della cassiera, motivo per il quale purtroppo mi tocca dare un giudizio estremamente negativo. All’ingresso mi rivolgo a tale signora, la quale era intenta a chiacchierare con una cliente invece di lavorare, in risposta ricevo una mano alzata che mi dice in sostanza di stare zitta senza aggiungere magari uno “scusa arrivo subito”. Prendiamo due caffè, chiedo di usare il bagno e mi viene detto che è inutilizzabile perché allagato. Due secondi dopo vedo la stessa donna sprezzante accompagnare un’altra cliente al bagno “inutilizzabile”. Che peccato.

06/04/2025: I highly recommend the place... the ice cream is excellent... Courtesy, Kindness, complete the very pleasant atmosphere of the Cubana... The external veranda is nice.

06/08/2025: Ci siamo capitati a cena per caso tra le molte possibilità che la città offre. Purtroppo è stata una delusione: ho preso un semplice hamburger ma me lo hanno servito semicrudo, col pane freddo. Glielo ho detto, si sono scusati e me lo hanno rifatto sempre freddo e con altri ingredienti. Alla cassa ho evitato di andarci io per non fare polemiche, conto pagato ma,senza emettere scontrino. Serata rovinata. Non ho fatto le foto al mio piatto per non infierire.

11/07/2025: Comida regular. Atención de lo peor. Te expulsan sin acabar de comer. Hay demasiadas buenas alternativas en la calle sin comer en este sitio. Lo siento por la camarera interior India que es súper agradable, pero su compañera destruye la experiencia

07/08/2025: Trap for tourists! We got takeout and it was delicious. The problem is that being Spanish and a tourist, they took me for a fool when it came to paying: 1 arancino, 2 potato wedges with something on them, and 3 small fish balls, a total of €15?!?!?! I'm a tourist, but not a fool, and this review is deserved by the young woman who charged me ;)

11/08/2025: Pasta with sardines is meh. I also tried pasta alla norma, but that too seems perfectly fine. My partner makes it much better. Not recommended.

30/07/2025: €12 for two glasses of beer and a water. Be careful, this place seems to be taking advantage of tourists.

28/07/2025: Shameful!!! We ordered three spritzes for €5 each, and they weren't even in aperitif glasses, but oh well, let's forget about that... You're charging us €1.50 for fries! Next time, please let people know if they want to pay for fries on the side!!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!!

06/07/2025: Fui a almorzar en un sofocante día de julio y encontré este oasis de calma con muchas opciones de comida ligera y un excelente servicio alegre. Ambos pidieron Caprese en un hermoso pan tostado que estaba delicioso. El mejor café que tomamos durante nuestra estadía y lo rematamos con un pastel de naranja para compartir, que era ligero y delicioso. Este lugar cobra vida por la noche con buena música y buenas opciones de cenas ligeras. Muy recomendable

24/06/2025: Il locale si trova sulla strada che costeggia il Lungomare, molto carino con musica in sottofondo, si mangia abbastanza bene anche se porzioni non esagerate e leggermente più caro di altri luoghi in Cefalù. Accoglienza bocciata, la ragazza di servizio ci fa accomodare sul trespolo ma pur a locale semivuoto ci dice obbligatoriamente uno davanti all'altro e non di fianco a vista mare..comprendiamo ed eseguiamo..solo che poi arrivano gli amici..e sono seduti a fianco..e poi arriva un'altra copia che glielo chiede e dicono ok..e poi andando via altra coppia uguale..se fate delle regole valgono per tutti.

31/07/2025: Pastries that are too sweet and overstuffed. Not at all on par with the more modest pastries we've found elsewhere. Not recommended at all.

07/07/2025: Excellent cuisine, delightful and professional staff that welcomes the wishes of even capricious customers. Chef Salvo dedicates passion in the preparation of the dishes and it shows in the goodness of what he presents. It's all good! You must try the fettuccine with sea urchins, delicious is an understatement! Greetings to Manila who gives joy and sympathy!

12/07/2025: A lovely restaurant with friendly staff and great food in a quiet location just down some steps from the main street. The baccala was really good! We will return.

11/07/2025: Abbiamo prenotato la cena è una volta arrivati il locale era chiuso! Che inseriscano gli orari/date dettagliate. Ovviamente è stato un vero disagio poi trovare altro posto dove mangiare alle 20:30 di sera.

22/06/2025: I bought a cream croissant to take away, apart from the high price, but when I got home the croissant was completely empty with a little bit of cream on top.

24/05/2025: Esperienza surreale. Il barista sembrava completamente disinteressato alla vita e al lavoro, con un’aria talmente abbattuta che metteva quasi a disagio ordinare. Nessuna indicazione sui gusti del gelato: niente nomi, nessun cartellino, solo vaschette anonime. Ho dovuto indicare “quello giallo” e “quello rosa” come se fossimo all’asilo, sperando di farmi capire. Il gelato? Deludente. La consistenza era molle e il sapore… sdegnoso è l’unica parola che mi viene in mente: come se anche lui non volesse essere lì. Il tutto coronato da un prezzo esagerato, per un prodotto che non si avvicina nemmeno lontanamente alla qualità che ci si aspetterebbe. Non tornerò, e non lo consiglio.

22/07/2025: After visiting the surrounding churches, it's the perfect place to relax. We arrived at a time when it wasn't crowded, so we didn't have to wait long for a table or for orders. It's a good place to stop during sightseeing.

16/07/2025: UNCONCEIVABLE. We spoke at 10 for breakfast and ordered a granita. The answer was: WE DON'T HAVE ANY GRANITAS. Shocked, we asked for a coffee gelato, following the waiter's instructions. He came back a minute later and said WE DON'T HAVE ANY COFFEE ICE CREAM. Shocked, we asked for a cannoli. The answer was: WE DON'T EVEN HAVE CANNOLIS. Deeply embarrassed, we got up and left. RIDICULOUS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING OPEN IN THE HISTORIC CENTER OF PALERMO?! YOU JUST NEED TO CLOSE!

13/07/2025: Atmosphere really nice because right next to the sea. However, my food (seafood pasta) had a white plastic string in it. Once i pointed it out to the waitress, she proceeded to tell me that stuff flies in the air and what do i expect. Once i told her that it was in my plate and then in my mouth, she took the string of plastic and mumbled something and walked away. My starter salad (insalata mista) had 2 ants and a fly in it. I told them about this, and that i want to cancel the salad. To their credit, they did, but then the salad was listed on the bill after all. After we told them we canceled the salad they did remove it from the bill, but added bread for 3 euro. This is the same bread we ASKED whether it comes with the fried fish plate, to which they said that it does….. in the end, we left very annoyed and disappointed at the type of service which is often seen in italy: first defend and then blame the customer or the environment (aka plastic strings, ants, flies, etc.).

13/07/2025: Great location and nice atmosphere but I received seafood pasta that had a piece of plastic rope in it and when I pointed it out to the staff they just acted annoyed and shrugged it off.
