Good variety of dishes. What we ate was very good and freshly prepared. Special thanks for the particular attention shown towards the intolerant person. Thank you so much for your very welcome gift! 05/04/2024: Very nice restaurant by the beach with a very nice selection of wine and tasty local food. Great service. The staff overcharged me 40 euros and drove all the way back to the hotel to reimburse me. I had not even noticed… super nice

19/10/2023: Your hosts Gabriele and Viola are superior food and wine experts. This is a small, off the beaten tourist path but utterly delightful bistro. The food of small plates or a curated tasting menu was the best I have had in Sicily. Concepts and flavors are unlike anything else you will experience here. This should be a foodie’s pilgrimage spot!! Dedicated to local cuisine with a new outlook it should not be missed.

The food was spectacular, great presentation and excellent service by Giuseppe, Bruno as well a the General Manager Marilena. È situato in una location mozzafiato e siamo stati serviti, anzi direi coccolati, dal personale altamente qualificato con grande accortezza e gentilezza nei nostri riguardi. Cibo molto raffinato e di ottima qualità. Per chi si trova a passare da Taormina consiglio assolutamente di fermarsi a gustare le meraviglie di questo ristorante. Torneremo sicuramente!

09/05/2024: We were absolutely thrilled with everything, the friendliness and thoughtfulness of the staff! The food tasted excellent. We didn't just eat here once and everything was really tasty. This is how we imagine authentic Sicilian cuisine. In addition to many international guests, you also met a lot of Italians here - that may be saying a lot. Highly recommended and for the evening it is better to book a table.

05/01/2024: Sharing my recent experience, I must say it was quite disappointing, unlike any I've had in years. The meal and service in Sicily fell short, especially when compared to the delightful and cost-effective options in Taormina. While I won't delve into all the specifics, I recommend heeding the negative reviews and approaching positive ones with caution. It's puzzling how the positive feedback came about.

06/04/2024: Wedged between the motorway interchange, the national road and the railway, we could have dreamed of a slightly more enchanting place in Taormina. Traffic noise and pollution are quite present. The toilets in the basement are also a little limited. Car required to reach the restaurant because access on foot from the cable car is very unpleasant and dangerous on the national road without a sidewalk. The cuisine is good with fresh produce but apart from the interesting appetizers it never really takes off, it has a very small Michelin star. The service is efficient and attentive but a little stilted as is often the case in this type of address. In the end, the price charged seems quite excessive compared to the services.

06/03/2024: What a pleasant surprise! I finally enjoyed a lady pizza!!! Excellent leavening, light and digestible... I use excellent raw materials, the taste of the tomato sauce is very, very good and zero acidity, furthermore I took the Norma... it was delicious. The pizzas that my friends took were the same. Regarding the service, my personal praise goes to the owner, very empathetic and attentive, he advised us with precision and skill, he was also an "attacker", in the sense that he enticed us with desserts, which they prepare, with the pizza dough fried and dipped in sugar, are called "cuzzoli" served with Nutella. And then I must say that the name Bacilicó is also original even if simple because it is part of those imaginative Sicilian words that when you evoke them you feel all the strength and beauty they have!!! Thanks for the tasty experience. Keep it up ✨💯✨

The highlight was the osso buco. That was incredible and absolutely fitting on this stormy February evening. Plus a heavy red Bordeaux blend from Sicily. Perfetto

26/03/2024: Very nice restaurant with incredible views in the heart of Taormina. The ravioli al scoglio are spectacular!!! Very generous portions at a fair price. Attentive and fast service.
