09/11/2025: I ordered Involtini Pesce Spada Fresco Grigliati alla Siciliana. The rolls were very small, Spada is very thin, ingredients not tasty, the fried batter outside is badly burnt. Why is this dish cost 32euros? The waiter was kind but the stern faced lady who seems to me the shopkeeper was rather curt and blunt, store-oriented style, reluctant to welcome a customer from the far east small island.

14/08/2025: We chose this restaurant at random, based on the menu found online and the reviews, and I must say we made the right choice... a wonderful terrace with a breathtaking view, top-quality food, and excellent service. All in a quiet atmosphere, with good background music and no intrusiveness.

07/12/2025: I saw Francesco Panella's TV show featuring this restaurant...
I must say that when I visited them in person, I was greeted with hospitality, professionalism, and kindness from all the staff.
Today, my wedding anniversary, we were pampered and served with excellent service.
We had lunch on a very romantic and charming terrace overlooking the sea of Giardini Naxos, facing Isola Bella!
Thank you for the wonderful day we spent with you.

07/12/2025: My husband learned about this restaurant thanks to @f_panella's BEST WEEKEND show, filmed in Taormina. He fell in love with table 26, where Francesco Panella had lunch with the three contestants, so he surprised me by booking a table for our 39th wedding anniversary.
Il Gabbiano Restaurant has a fabulous location with a terrace overlooking Isola Bella... simply enchanting.
But beyond the postcard-perfect location, the food at Il Gabbiano Restaurant is excellent.
The octopus, arancini, caponata, and tuna are all must-tries. I was also lucky enough to order an extraordinary off-menu dish: spaghetti with crab, which I'll never forget.

07/12/2025: Unexpected beautiful coastal view, entrance tucked away on Vico Teofane Cerameo. Pizza was great but other options are also on the menu. Visited on a late June afternoon and immediately got a table without a reservation and service was friendly and mostly attentive.
18/11/2025: Ristorante Pizzeria in Taormina was a fantastic find on our work outing with the ImmerTwin team while doing immersive scans in the area.
It’s set slightly off the main thoroughfare, so you get a more secluded, peaceful atmosphere – not packed at lunchtime, which was perfect.
The food was fresh and delicious, and the whole place had a really relaxed, welcoming feel. The views across the valley are absolutely incredible, so I’d definitely recommend asking for a table near an open window when you book.
Everyone in our group loved it – highly recommend.

15/04/2025: Eccellenti sia i formaggi che i piatti della tradizione siciliana preparati a mano, al momento. Lasciatevi consigliare dal personale il tagliere e i vini adatti ai vostri gusti. E poi, gustate una cassata!
Cercate bene il locale nella via, c’è una piccola insegna all’ingresso!!

Cada artículo era mejor que el siguiente: la albóndiga era la mejor que he probado, la berenjena estaba divina, los quesos y las carnes eran todos locales y excelentes. El servicio fue increíble y se puede sentir el amor en la preparación de la comida. La mejor comida en Taormina manos abajo

23/09/2025: We were sitting on the beach in front of the restaurant. The smell of food made us hungry. I then found cozze (mussels) on the menu.
The portion was a generous €15. I've never tasted better. Slightly spicy, with garlic, tomato, and white wine. Coperto was €1.50.
The cozze is a dream.
Good service with a sea view. Moretti draft beer is too expensive at €6 (0.4l).
22/09/2025: Lack of transparency... a well-kept beach in an excellent location... but what we consumers cannot and will not forgive is the lack of transparency and the unclear information regarding prices for admission, sunbeds, umbrellas, etc.
