25/02/2025: It's been a long time since my group of friends and I decided to go to this place, unfortunately we have to book well in advance 15 days in advance, the place is nice although given the capacity and the crowd of people it would be advisable to put in sound-absorbing panels because there is a lot of shouting, we were seated on the veranda and the feeling is nice because it feels like being immersed in a garden, the pizzas are good but the wait is too long, furthermore if the group orders different things you won't be able to eat at the same time in our case. grilled sea bass arrived when we had all finished eating the pizza.

05/11/2024: Right in the center of Favignana. The location is very spartan, with paper placemats but this wouldn't be a problem. We tried the first courses but absolutely failed, they use cream where it isn't written! This is certainly not "typical Sicilian cuisine". I went in August.

18/10/2024: Delicious food at a fair price. Had pasta and melanzane. Salad was disappointing as the tomatoes were a bit tasteless and black sliced olives, boring. Beware of the 3€ cover charge per person though.

The meat was good Excellent service. Price, it seemed a little excessive to me. A big flaw of the place is the distance from the motorway, which has nothing to do with the place, which has nothing special. It would have been nice, for example, to find an area where the little ones could play, as they end up getting bored when they have to sit still! Think about it!

Il pesce è fresco ma la grigliata mista è stata una delusione, troppo cotta, (gusto del pesce azzerato) e quantità minimale: un gamberone, mezza fetta di pesce spada e un calamaro gommoso. Servizio non di mio gradimento. Prezzo nella la media. Non ci tornerei. Peccato, basterebbe un minimo di attenzione in più nel servizio ed in cucina.

16/03/2025: Breakfast at the Nazionale, the last of many and probably really will be the last. I was with a friend, we ordered at the table where the breakfast menu with the prices displayed was present and clearly visible. Brief mention of the fact that the waitress carelessly spilled a jug of milk on my friend; a mistake can happen. In addition to the drinks we order a croissant and a pain au chocolate. Price of each €1.70 shown on the menu at the table. At the time of the bill, the surprise: the pain au chocolate costs €3.00! We realize it as soon as we leave, looking at the receipt and we return, convinced of a mistake, to ask for clarification. Response from the staff with a seraphic expression: they have increased the price from €1.70 to €3.00 but the price lists have not yet been updated. The price is displayed only on the display case on the counter. An increase of 76.47%!!! Having ordered from the table, should we perhaps have gone to check the prices at the counter? Given that such an increase is shameful, it is incorrect to impose an increased price without having reported it on the price list at the table. Too difficult to correct with a marker? Since the Nazionale reopened I have noticed other unwelcome attitudes but I have overlooked them, even though they were present but today the measure is full. The venue then, a broken promise but this is not the place nor the time to talk about it.

18/03/2025: A stone's throw from the Greek theater there is this simple and welcoming restaurant, where you can have beautiful encounters especially in spring and where you find food immediately available in plain sight for a quick and unpretentious lunch. Ideal for a business lunch if you have little time. Here there is no waiting and the food is already cooked. The staff is very kind and young.

11/03/2025: A due passi dal teatro greco c’è questo ristorante semplice e accogliente , dove puoi fare incontri belli soprattutto in primavera e dove trovi cibo subito disponibile, già cotto,in bellavista per un pranzo veloce e senza grandi pretese. Ideale per un pranzo di lavoro se hai poco tempo. Qui non c’è attesa.Personale giovane e gentile.

11/04/2025: We had a wonderful experience at the Trattoria San Giovanni. Staff are ver, very attentive and very friendly. We shared one antipasto Siciliano in 4 and there was more to go around! The pasta portions were quite generous and extremely well cooked. I had the pasta with pistacchio and speck (wonderful). My son had cavate in Sicilian ragú, my daughter had spaghettoni with pesto, tomato sauce and breadcrumbs, and my wife had pasta alla Norma. All the dishes were well cooked and tastefully presented in their own metal pan. I really recommend this little Trattoria in the heart of Gela. Bravissimi!

07/04/2025: Every time we go to Collesano we have lunch or dinner in this special trattoria. The food is excellent from the typical local appetizers to the first courses with fresh pasta. The welcome from the owner and his collaborators is always very warm and attentive. We absolutely recommend it

29/03/2025: The restaurant is located on the state road that connects Campofelice to Isnello. The simple decor, typical of a trattoria that oscillates between modern and some rustic accents with the possibility of eating outside in the summer. We had a house appetizer.. let's say tasters.. a few slices of cheese, an anonymous caponata, a small taste of snails (empty), olives, two small bruschettas.. and a pizza cooked strictly in an electric oven, thin, however with a good topping, a glass of acidic wine... The surprise was the bill.. that appetizer was 14 euros.. In total for an appetizer and a pizza, water and a glass of wine we paid €37.50.. Unimaginable for that appetizer!! Too bad ... because the staff was kind.

02/04/2025: I went because a friend recommended it and I was amazed. The place is small but very familiar and welcoming. The food is excellent: I think I can say I ate the best octopus salad of my life (and I am Sicilian) and an excellent fried fish. True, they are simple things, but here I found them cooked with true mastery and with so much flavor and a riot of smells of our land. The service was welcoming and familiar. I will certainly return to enjoy all the beauty of Palermo in this pleasant restaurant in its historic center.
