A great place to enjoy a relaxed meal with a nice atmosphere. Just a small note – one dish was not included on the bill, which I pointed out to the staff to avoid any misunderstanding. So it’s a good idea to double-check your bill.

The real added value of this place is the extraordinary kindness of the owner, a delightful person who knows how to make everyone feel at ease. The entire staff follows his example: they're extremely helpful, quick, and always smiling, creating a pleasant and familiar atmosphere. The prices are also commendable: decidedly reasonable and fair, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing evening without any surprises at the checkout. A place you'll gladly return to, especially for the warmth of the staff.

19/01/2026: A pizzeria in Catania near the city center, with a modern atmosphere and a good selection of appetizers, salads, and pizzas. The dough and quality of the ingredients are good. I didn't like the fact that, having chosen burrata as an appetizer, they didn't serve anything to accompany it, no bread, or you had to pay for the focaccia. A good selection of desserts to round off the meal with a delicious finish.

06/10/2025: Gilberto's desserts are guaranteed to tempt you! The hospitality, food, and heavenly setting justify the distance from the port, which is also compensated by the 5-star shuttle service. Maria Tindara gets top marks!

28/09/2025: We just had a unique weekend! As soon as we arrived on Vulcano, we rented the legendary Mehari from Paolo and immediately headed to our peaceful oasis on Vulcano Piano! Maria Tindara is the most authentic place you can find on Vulcano! It's outside the port, true, but it's perfectly located halfway between Gelso and the port! The dinner was spectacular, an explosion of flavors! Save room for the desserts because they are incredible and definitely made with love! Gilberto was attentive to our every need, even recommending a truly unique spot with a breathtaking view of the islands and the crater rim to your left—a spot that rivals the climb up the crater the day before, and definitely less tiring! The rooms are simple and authentic, and in the evening you're only accompanied by the chirping of the cicadas! We'll always come back!

02/02/2026: The girl serving last night was incredibly kind and helpful. The pizza and fries were good, but I have to complain about the extremely slow service. Last night, there were very few people, but we had a very long wait.

05/01/2026: Absolutely perfect pizza, kind, friendly and polite staff, varied menu with lots of choice, and definitely affordable, in my town on the other side of Sicily the pizzas cost 1-2 € more, but the quality is definitely inferior, but here instead the pizzas are stellar and the price is right, a real marvel.

01/11/2025: Spent a perfect few days here. The location and the view is breathtaking. Easy to access, check in check out was smooth. The personnel was professional, especially Laura who was absolutely lovely, smiling and professinal all the time. Breakfast was alright and the coffee was amazing. I had the separate apartment, cozy, hidden amongst olive trees.

26/10/2025: Incredible service, nice restaurant and friendly personnel. Very thoughtful attentions for our honeymoon. Great tips on the activities to do around as well. The agrume garden is simply stunning ! Plus amazing views on the Etna. Would come back anytime without hesitation.

05/03/2026: The restaurant doesn't allow dogs, and this is obviously the restaurant's right. The problem isn't the rule itself, but the way it's communicated and managed. At the entrance, we were stopped rather abruptly with the "No dogs allowed" greeting, without any explanation or courtesy. I should point out that there's no sign outside the restaurant indicating this, nor is it listed online. At that point, we simply decided to leave without arguing. The unpleasant thing happened immediately afterward: as we were leaving, the door was practically slammed in our faces. A member of our group came back to let us know we were leaving, and the staff's response was a shrug and a "No worries, we can't keep them." No one demands exceptions to the restaurant's rules, but a minimum level of clarity in information and courtesy towards customers should always be maintained.

29/12/2025: I dined at this restaurant and had a truly excellent experience. The quality of the meat is top-notch, and you can immediately sense the care taken in selecting the ingredients and cooking them perfectly, showcasing them to their best advantage. Each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. A great strength is undoubtedly the staff: extremely kind, attentive, and highly knowledgeable, always available to offer advice and explain the menu options with expertise and passion. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, ideal for both a relaxed dinner and a special occasion. A place I absolutely recommend and will gladly return to.

23/12/2025: The first thing you notice is the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. The meat is excellent quality, and the place is perfect for a pleasant evening enjoying tasty dishes accompanied by great music. The prices aren't cheap, but they're definitely average for the food. Highly recommended.

06/02/2026: We visited this pizzeria and overall had a positive experience. We had a Sicilian appetizer, which was really good and well-received. Unfortunately, the fries lacked salt. The 1L glass Coca-Cola bottle was very nice and appreciated, which is always a nice touch. The pizzas were good, but they were a bit too oily; furthermore, the prosciutto wasn't top-notch. Overall, a good place, 3 stars.

27/01/2026: L’Ambasciata dei Nebrodi – A shared delight 🇮🇹🍕 Not only were the pizzas incredibly delicious, but we were there with friends and shared our tastes, so everyone could enjoy a slice of each other's food. That's what made the evening so special: the variety, the flavors, and the shared joy of eating together. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, perfect for a convivial evening. The service was friendly and attentive, making the evening a wonderful experience. A place you'll want to return to with friends.

20/01/2026: This isn't the first time I've been there for lunch and dinner, and we've always had a great time. Excellent location, good and plentiful food, and friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended for families and groups of friends. Prices are in line with the location and type of restaurant.
