A truly excellent place where you can have lunch or dinner in a quiet atmosphere and a very friendly staff, especially the chef Michele, who will keep you company with his excellent dishes made with high-quality ingredients, both fish and meat based, or if someone wants, they can delight in a delicious pizza... Arriving this morning from Milan for a long weekend tour of Sicily, we happened upon Trattoria La Vecchia Fontana for dinner this evening. We were craving a simple, tasty meal, and we weren't disappointed. Michele, the chef, prepared excellent linguine with clams (plenty of them) and a delicious, light fritto misto. The staff was truly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

At "La Vecchia Fontana," you'll feel right at home. The real added value of this place is the extraordinary kindness of the owner, a delightful person who knows how to make everyone feel at ease.
The entire staff follows his example: they're extremely helpful, quick, and always smiling, creating a pleasant and familiar atmosphere. The prices are also commendable: decidedly reasonable and fair, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing evening without any surprises at the checkout.
A place you'll gladly return to, especially for the warmth of the staff.
