02/04/2025: If you are looking for a place to eat good fish in Palermo, Sardina Pasta Bar is the place for you. The place is nice and the menu offers tasty and original dishes, with very fresh ingredients. I tried the amberjack tartare, the cheviche and the spaghetti with sea urchins, and I must say that they were all delicious! The tartare was delicate and tasty, the cheviche had a particular taste and the spaghetti were super creamy. In general, Sardina Pasta Bar is a great place to eat fish in Palermo, with a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

06/04/2025: Sono stato qui con la famiglia. Prenotato per le 20:00, arrivati alle 20:15. Prendiamo antipasto caldo, classico cibo surgelato. Poi buonissime tutte le pizze, dalla parmigiana alla parma, anche quella con mortadella. Unica nota negativa la 4 formaggi. Prezzo nella media. Ecco dove si perde il locale, ordiniamo il dolce ma era scaduto il tempo, dovevano sedersi altre persone (ore 21:30). Ci invitano caldamente ad alzarci, promettendo di persona che non sarei tornato in un locale che butta fuori i clienti mi ribadiscono che la colpa è nostra essendo in ritardo. Sconsigliato, ma non per la pizza.

30/03/2025: Unfortunately, compared to the last time I was very disappointed. 8pm time Some of us arrived later and we were almost forced to order right away … After 9:30pm, even though there were no people outside who had to sit down, several times they invited us to get up to keep the table “free”. All this after a very normal pizza without infamy and without praise For me, a cross above Disappointing

28/10/2024: The pantanelli di vendicari is a beautiful rustic sicilian venue nestled in a nature reserve, vineyard, almond plantation in Noto. The journey is around an hour from Catania Airport and taxi costs around 100 euros for 2 travellers. The reserve is around 15 mins from the centre and costs around 50 euros. The owner luciana is a beautiful soul who has worked with me along the way for a year helping to co ordinate and plan my indian wedding (the first of their kind), we did this without a wedding planner. Communication was easy, I actually booked the venue blind without visiting after a video call with Luciana, she was always there at the other end of WhatsApp if I had any questions and she put me in touch with taxi drivers, decorators and photographers. Lucianna even stepped in and acted as a translator during my consultations with the vendors. The PDV has rooms too so you can have hire of the whole venue and rooms so you do not need to worry about other guests crashing your event. The rooms were airy spacious, had tvs, fridge, ensuites, toiletries and towels, the rooms again a basic and rustic but very comfortable and very clean. The venue has in house catering which was perfect the food was in abdusance, we travelled to sicily earlier in the year for a tasting and on the wedding day the food was even better. Please try the aranchini - luciana even went the extra step to ensure that the aranchini was pork rather than beef as Hindus shouldn't eat beef. This was her idea and really showed the level of detail she was putting in and providing. The pdv has a swimming pool, fairly small and not deep but perfect to laze around, and a on site gazebo (around 12x8 ft) this comfortablely held 90 people but could hold even more. The gazebo is already decked out with fairy lights for that stary night effect. We ate dinner in the court yard again under lights which is great, as lighting can be costly in sicily. There is a roof terrace which looks over the ocean and where we held our ceremony, this again comfortably held 90 people, the views were breathtaking. Luicana made everyone feel right at home, including getting milk for babies and medicines for Mosquito Bites. The bites were hard-core so generally be prepared. Again she went that extra mile every day. On the wedding events she was coordinating the dinners, the timings and even came to the rescue to fix my cake topper. She was so brilliant to work with. She also saved me nearly 2k by reassuring me I didn't need to buy an additional gazebo because of rain. Anyone else could easily of tried to make money out of me but lucianna Is not that type of lady. Our guests were paying for their own rooms and luciana even was able to take payment directly for the guests which was easy and not complicated. I cannot thank lucianna and her team enough for making our day so special and I would love to revist. Also luciana has a doggy named romeo who is very friendly! Thank you so much - Pooja and Jamie

03/01/2025: Five stars for the quality of the fish and the hospitality of the restaurant which allowed, at the last moment, to welcome us and make us a first course off the menu! We will return possibly for the tasting

23/12/2024: Restaurant for special occasions. The tasting menu allows you to try a notable variety of top quality dishes. The service is top notch and the staff very helpful. The bill (even if demanding) fully reflects the value of the restaurant.

25/03/2025: Intrigued by the place we go Catania Messina 100 km to try this place. What can I say, really surprising and very well cared for. First choice meat. Excellent service Really exquisite first courses. I recommend going because I will return.
