06/08/2025: We had the best ever dinner experience in Palermo at this wonderful little restaurant- highly recommended, avoid the main strip and make your way to this little gem. The staff were extremely friendly and were very accommodating to our dietary needs- eat here, support local- enjoy the experience.

04/08/2025: Dessert? Only with the main course – Welcome to the “hospitality light” club Imagine this: four cheerful guests, 9:30 p.m., craving dessert and a glass of wine. Sounds like a nice evening, right? Not here! Instead of a “Welcome,” we received a “Just dessert? No, we don’t do that.” Apparently, guests are only welcome here if they order the entire menu. Hospitality? None. Flexibility? Also nonexistent. We were simply sent away – apparently, it was too much to ask to please four paying guests with just dessert. If you want to feel like a nuisance, this is the place for you. For everyone else: find a place where guests are still appreciated – luckily, there are plenty of them in Palermo.

01/09/2025: I walked in, and I was surprised; I hadn't expected such a gem at 11 p.m., while walking a friend's dog. The smell of meat called to me. I instinctively knew it: he had magic, unspoken, unseen. But as a colleague, I knew his hands could follow that passion within him. I chose the bread, morbidone, and began to see the best combinations, below left, something that would ignite my gustatory pupils... so many countries, but this meat almost bloody. I sat outside, counted the seconds of the meat as I asked, stood up, and from experience, it was ready, just in the time I asked for. The caramelized onion cooked with vinegar, but with a particular, as if combined with the apple meat, gave off a slight sting. The blood is there as it darkens thanks to the light. The cheddar and the bacon go hand in hand... A real blast if you want some freestyle experience and precision... Thank you, maestro. The chips are also cooked perfectly for takeout, and they arrive warm but crispy at home after a walk with my little friend.

06/08/2025: Truly an excellent experience! The burgers were simply delicious. You could taste the quality in every bite! The service was super fast and super friendly, the staff always smiling and attentive to every detail. The atmosphere is also truly welcoming, well-kept, and pleasant. I'll definitely be back!

10/09/2025: Grumpy as hell He doesn't know what kindness or politeness is September. There's no one on the beach. It's a cloudy, windy day, almost raining. I ask for a simple, slightly warmed chocolate croissant. The first time, he pretends not to hear, and passes it to me cold. The second time, thinking he hadn't heard me, I politely ask if he can warm it up for me. He starts cursing, making hand gestures and mumbling strange things, and then throws the plate in front of me on the counter. At this, I'm incredulous because I don't understand his problem. It was clear he was mad at me. I ask him if this kind of treatment is normal, because if he couldn't warm it up, he could just say so clearly and it would have been over with. He continues gesturing in vain, telling me that it's still warm in September and that croissants don't heat up. Is everything okay?

14/07/2025: "Vecchia Aidone" restaurant: a wonderful discovery! Strolling through the city streets, the "Festa Antichi Sapori Aidonesi" (Ancient Flavors Festival) is here. It's a restaurant located within a welcoming old Sicilian farmhouse, renovated in a clever blend of rustic and modern. An elegant space with attention to detail, complete with an adjoining garden. Attentive and dynamic staff. A carefully curated wine list, featuring renowned producers and an excellent selection, indicates a place that places great emphasis on quality and the customer experience. The hostess offers impeccable service, advising and serving guests with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating interest and attentiveness to their needs. The carefully selected labels offer a wide range of wines: white, red, rosé, and sparkling. This allows guests to find the wine that best suits their tastes and pairs with the dishes on the menu. A big shout out to the chefs for their dishes, both traditional and innovative, masterfully balanced in flavor. Highly recommended!

03/07/2025: I attended the anniversary (20 years of honored activity) of the Vecchia Aidone restaurant and I was thrilled with the welcome of the owners, their competence and professionalism. Liborio, Cesira, Giuseppe, Rosario ........ sorry if I forget everyone's names but you are SPECIAL. A spectacular buffet prepared with genuine and tasty ingredients. The couscous as it has never been eaten before (the Tunisian chef was very good). Mind-blowing desserts. Beautiful location and the super-stocked wine cellar with an excellent choice. Thanks to the brands present at the restaurant. Well done everyone for the magnificent organization 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝

14/09/2025: The pane cunzato and the chickpea panelle sandwich are excellent. The pastries are dry, perhaps a tad sweet, but still good.

22/08/2025: I discovered it by chance while walking to the hotel. At first glance, it looks like a typical trattoria; the table service is very fast and the staff are very friendly. I ordered an appetizer and a first course; everything was delicious and of excellent quality, and the portions were generous. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

31/08/2025: We returned for the second time and we are more satisfied than the first, the food is superb and the owners and staff are super helpful and kind, if you are passing through the area don't miss the opportunity to stop by.

24/08/2025: La Falda is a fantastic restaurant with many delicious dishes. The pasta is especially recommended. We've eaten here several times on different vacations, and the quality is always consistently excellent. The very friendly and attentive waitress, who remembered us even a year later, made our visit a wonderful experience. :)

21/08/2025: I've been to this pizzeria several times. The pizza was excellent and the service excellent. But the last experience was terrible. The girl serving drinks forgot a beer and then disappeared, and after I reminded her a second time, she almost got annoyed. We waited over an hour just to order on a Friday. The place was full, but they couldn't handle a crowd. After ordering, all the tables were served except ours. We politely asked the owner what had happened to the pizzas, and he apologized. Ten minutes later, they arrived (they'd completely forgotten them), and in their rush to make them, they weren't quite up to par with the ones I've always had. Even the kid's Margherita looked like a takeout pizza from the worst pizzerias; the one with honey was as full of honey as a zeppole. I brought friends with me, knowing they'd made the right choice, but they were also very disappointed with everything. It's a shame, but after €25 a head, I definitely don't think I'll be returning.
