The service as well as the proposals are interesting and fresh, this distinguishes them from other places and does not make it a classic tourist place! We ate very well and they met our requests also recommending an excellent wine. 5 stars deserved

24/06/2025: The store has an old fashion look. Store attendants was not at all pleasant. There were deal on wines only no food deals. Lots of the food looks old or out dated. Nothing of nutritional there is appealing to the eye. Everything was all over the place. Seems like a waste of time the atmosphere was weird. I'll never visit this store again.

30/06/2025: Above the town of Chiaramonte Gulfi, a hotel that stands on an old station, active in the early twentieth century. Clean room and comfortable bed, bathroom and air conditioning a bit old. I found the bathroom with a bathtub and not a shower. In the restaurant you eat well, you must try the specialties of Chiaramonte. The exteriors are well-kept and there is also a beautiful swimming pool that can be used on the hottest days of summer. Strategic location and adequate parking. Friendly and kind staff. We had a good time.

22/06/2025: Roast meat in all its variations, veal, mutton, chicken, you will not eat anything so good. The "Florentine" rib eye is unsurpassed, as are the lemon leaf skewers. Trust Onofrio and you will not be disappointed. I brought my friends here and some have chosen it almost as their home. Rustic and spartan place with the best meat in the area and, perhaps, on the Ionian coast. If I want meat I come here and in front of the counter I choose what to have cooked expertly guided by the owner. For me Smiroldo number one.

09/07/2025: Very friendly staff, especially the chef, who takes a personal interest in coming out of the kitchen to ask if the customer enjoyed his dishes. Delicious food (bruschetta, pasta alla norma, and spaghetti with seafood). If you come to Ortigia, avoid the super crowded places; move away from the center; you'll find some real culinary gems. 👌

26/06/2025: Excellent fresh fish, excellent house wine and convenient price. There were 5 of us, two plates of lemon mussels (they were two appetizers, but the quantity was like a second course 🔝) a mixed fried fish, a grilled fish, a mixed fried calamari and shrimp, mixed salad, two plates of chips, house white wine, 3 bottles of water, three Sicilian cannoli, a cassata and a dessert from the chef. Coffee €113.00. Friendly staff. Very characteristic place. We really had a great time. Thank you

20/06/2025: We went to this family-run restaurant on the recommendation of our hosts and we can say that it was a wonderful discovery. The fish was very fresh, cooked with great care and respect for tradition. The sarde a beccafico, in particular, were the best I have ever eaten in my life: a perfect balance of flavors, delicate but intense, simply unforgettable. The service was equally exceptional: kindness, cordiality and a warm welcome that made us feel at home. You can feel the authentic passion of the family that runs the restaurant, and the attention to detail makes the experience even more special. A genuine, sincere place, where good food and Sicilian hospitality meet in a perfect way. Highly recommended!

29/06/2025: The service was very attentive and friendly. Even though we don't speak Italian, she tried her best to explain everything to us in English. Thank you very much for that. The location exudes typical Italian charm. The food was delicious, and even small adjustments were accommodated. One small point: we would have appreciated slightly sharper knives for the pizza 😃 We spent a very pleasant evening here.

09/07/2025: An oasis of beauty, relaxing atmosphere and clean restrooms in the wild Palermo. Fantastic food, friendly and experienced service, all simply great! I recommend tuna fish and come antipasti Cotto di pesce. Great selection of wines. I had a lunch and also dinner there today.

21/07/2025: We are practically in San Vito one week every summer, and go to Bianconiglio min once, preferably twice. Love the food (yes, it is meat, lots of other good fish places if that is what you crave), I love the wines, my son’s love the gin selection 🤣 And Michele and his team just creates a fantastic experience

18/07/2025: Was our last night in San Vito and couldn’t have had a better restaurant experience to end our trip in this lovely town. 5 stars fully deserved!

17/07/2025: As soon as I arrived, the kitchen recommended: pennette with aubergines, cherry tomatoes and fresh tuna, and as a second course, fresh sweet and sour tuna..... Well, what can I say..... A delight....... Congratulations again 😉
