15/06/2025: The food is quite good, but you have to ask the waiter to bring napkins, olive oil or parmesan. The food is quite good, but not outstanding as in Sicily many places offer much tastier food for the same price in my opinion. Tolerate looks terrible, dirty probably when they open nobody checks it, no toilet seat.

02/06/2025: Homely Sicilian seafood and pizza, tasty and reasonably priced, with an outdoor terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Prompt and friendly service. Was busy with locals the lunchtime we visited - a good recommendation!

08/06/2025: The hotel is beautifully nestled in a park. However, to get to the city (Ortega), you'll need a car or take a taxi. It's quite quiet here, and you can relax a bit. The pool is small, but perfectly adequate for cooling off. There are comfortable loungers and towels. We had a lovely, bright, spacious room with a large terrace and were absolutely happy with it. It's clean and functionally furnished. A little tip for the hotel: a small wardrobe or two coat hooks for hanging up coats would have been nice. :-) The breakfast is okay. The cappuccino is delicious. Service is quick, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. We would come again.

16/06/2025: Volevamo fare un aperitivo, il locale da fuori sembra molto promettente (ma vuoto, chissà perché!; ed era la sera di una domenica di Giugno). Unica cosa che chiediamo alle due cameriere era: “fate aperitivi ?”, Risposta: “Sì”. Ci accomodiamo. Arriva un uomo senza la divisa (forse il proprietario) a prendere l’ordinazione; ci risponde che non sono ancora organizzati per fare aperitivi, possono fare solo 3 tipologie di cocktail, di cui nessuno analcolico, e per mangiare qualcosa si doveva prendere altre pietanze del menù (da pagare a parte ovviamente). Morale della favola, abbiamo preso un antipasto da dividere pietoso, uno spritz orribile e l’acqua e abbiamo pagato 36 euro e cinquanta. L’antipasto comprendeva: - N.2 cozze - N.1 arancinetto mignon - due cucchiai di cous cous freddo di frigo fatto chissà quanto tempo prima - e un cucchiaio di calamari alla con la salsa di pomodoro. Le prese in giro non finiscono perché, alla cassa, lo spritz magicamente aumenta di prezzo (sul menù era 8 euro e alla cassa diventa 10)

15/08/2024: Cannavacciuolo take care of it. When we arrive at dinner they tell us that we can choose between a 22 euro menu which includes a pizza, a plate of chips and a drink (everything except water and already here the first bitter surprise) and a 35 euro menu based on fish. We were a group of about 22 people, including six children. So let's order the Pizza for the children first so that they can eat before it was around 9pm. At 9.30pm we place the order for us adults, we take very normal pizzas. The pizzas for the children arrive after about 45 minutes (qualitatively terrible in fact the children almost left it all). As for the grown-ups' pizza, it arrives after an hour (after a lot of mistakes made in the kitchen and by the waiters). I'm not here to dwell on the quality of the products used, I can only say that my pizza personally was a mass of salt. I will definitely never return to this place again, for the same price I would have eaten better in any other place nearby. Not recommended. P.s. One of our diners asked for a gluten-free pizza, about two and a half hours have passed and it still hasn't arrived.

09/04/2025: A beautiful scenic setting for elegant dining. They have a good range of imaginative pasta and pizza dishes - delicious. The dining is relaxed and calm , which makes for a memorable evening.

26/09/2024: We went to this restaurant with a tour group for pizza making. It is a tiny restaurant with a very friendly and service-oriented team. In all honesty, the pizza making class was pretty uninspired. More like watching one of the pizza cooks make a pizza. There was one opportunity to add your own ingredients to a pizza, but that is not exactly a pizza class. So, the class experience was pretty much a 2 out of 5. So, consider this instead a review of the pizza and restaurant itself. On that measure it was a solid to high 4 out of 5 stars. The quality of the pizza was excellent – crust, sauces, toppings. Service was good, although they seemed to lose interest as time went on, which drops to the 4 stars.

14/05/2025: I was a guest at the restaurant a few nights ago. Apart from the endless wait before being able to order, it is unacceptable that diners eat at different times. Even if the dishes are different, it is right that everything arrives at the table together, the meat was not accompanied by bread or ménage. The pizza is very good and the chips are not frozen.

04/06/2025: Wir kamen um 20 Uhr und bekamen die ersten Speisen um 21 Uhr serviert. Das ist schon lang. Und leider gab's auch keinerlei Starter vorneweg wie mal Oliven oder etwas Brot (Brot wurde serviert, nachdem der Hauptgang eingetroffen war, das ist leider die falsche Reihenfolge). Die Speisen waren ein wenig "trocken" die Scaloppine al Limone waren ohne die leckere Limonencreme, die wir so lieben, sondern es lag halt ein Limonenschnitz daneben. Der Service war aber freundlich, die Preise sind fair, der weisse Hauswein war aber leider nicht so der Klopper. Dafür gab's aber zum Schluss einen Limoncello auf's Haus. Das allein ist schon mal einen Punkt wert, denn das kennt der italienische Wirt auf den Äolischen Inseln sonst eigentlich leider nicht (anders als seine Kollegen in Deutschland).

23/04/2025: Extraordinary experience, we had the aperifish at a cost of €8 which includes fried fish, focaccia and drink, nothing to complain about, it was very filling and all good. Impeccable service, the dining room staff welcomed us with a smile and was super helpful and kind. The place is very simple but also very clean and is located in the center. I recommend it
