12/03/2025: Excellent divinely cooked food! Very fresh fish eaten on a terrace on Stromboli from which you can see the sea.

16/10/2024: There were three of us there in autumn 2024. Logically, you don't need a reservation at this time. The boss seems rather reserved and finds it difficult to smile. When asked which wine he would recommend, he responded by saying he didn't know our preferences. A bit strange, this statement. But the employee (daughter?) is very friendly, she smiled and was quick too. The food was OK, but without that certain something. What was unpleasant was that three local gentlemen on the gallery above us were loudly watching internet videos without the host having anything against it.

23/03/2025: A real gem- perfectly located, still quiet. Extremely happy staff who want you to feel welcome. Will be back. Comfortable bed, body lotion, mouthwash, coffee and tea maker. A real eye for detail. Loved it very much there.

21/02/2025: Valentina and all her staff are truly amazing and nice people. Wether it was the waiter at the breakfast or the reception they made us feel welcome. Too bad we went in low season, as we didn't manage to eat dinner in their restaurant (seems amazing from what I've read). We booked suite room 205 since it was my birthday, and everything was really nice and comfortable. On an occasion the pods in the Nespresso machine finished, I emailed Valentina and the front desk called straight away, and brought me more at no additional cost. They were also kind enough to let our pet with us, the pet fee is 30 euro but they bring you a pet bed, bowls and diaper for your little one, he was truly comfortable. The breakfast was high class one of the best I've ever taken and location is in a nice and quiet area in syracusa opposite a picturesque park. If ever in the area I would stay again there 👍👍

17/01/2025: We discovered this place a few years back and loved it. The huge selection of often creative toppings, the options for different bases (standard, wholemeal, gluten free etc) plus its position in the piazza made it a favourite of our whole family for a couple of years. But boy has it gone downhill. Service is just appalling: yesterday evening we waited 45 minutes for a bottle of water and a lemon soda, let alone our pizzas. Last visit was the same: we languished inside for a good hour before receiving our pizzas and then one was missing. We had to chase waiters to pay our bill and almost walked out out of frustration. There aren't nearly enough staff and those who there are are surly, unhelpful and seemingly untrained. It's clear no one is in charge. There is now only one pizza base available: standard white flour. Pizza was fine but certainly nothing special. Last night was the last straw and we have given up. No groovy branding and menu is enough to make up for Pura Follia's shortcomings, especially as there are plenty of great pizzerie in Scicli and the surrounding area.

06/01/2025: Wonderful fantastic beautiful day spectacular menu from starter to dessert pasta cacio e pepe delicious fish good and fresh cooked to perfection and what about the excellent tiramisu very kind staff I recommend everyone to go to this location I give a rating 10+++++

18/02/2025: Unfortunately, this place has a fabulous pizza chef who cooks fantastic pizza but unfortunately some of the staff really should change jobs! We went to dinner with family and to begin with they forgot to make our reservation and almost sent us away. We sit down after a good ten minutes at 9.05pm Around 9.50pm we try to call someone because we were sitting there but forgotten by the room! Meh! The tables were set outside but the evening was quite unsuitable. Having a child I ask the kindness to move inside and I am told by a blonde waitress (I don't know her name) that it was not possible. Except that the same person starts to seat many tables inside and us always outside! I try to be patient even if I was disappointed by the rudeness We order but at 10.10pm the appetizers still hadn't arrived. Until I see food being brought to a table next to mine who had arrived after me, I had been sitting since 9pm, at 10.10pm there was still no question of eating, and the same person always decides to make this kind gesture towards this table. At which point I get annoyed given the repeated MISSINGS, I call her and try to get her to explain why? He replies that he had to make it up to those guests, because they had done something else with many many in the room. No! It doesn't work like that! Instead of apologizing for the repeated shortcomings with great arrogance and unheard of rudeness, she even railed and insulted my husband. Ultimately for those who are reading this review, the pizza is worth 100 but everything else is worth zero, the customer should be right regardless, if you know what you do, you can even handle the worst customer and believe me we are not the worst. Instead we were treated badly by this person who certainly shouldn't work in contact with the public because he was really very rude! I also took on the incredible fried smell I get when I leave in there to eat this pizza but at this point I'm sorry but after a gesture like that I can't stand it! Know that you are not the only pizzeria in the world and we will replace you quickly but we will always give you terrible publicity! Don't see each other again!

27/01/2025: Consigliato da amici di gela. Darei un 3 per il locale ma un 1 per la sporcizia che abbiamo trovato nel percorso da e verso l'auto parcheggiata poco lontano in via europa lato mare. Non dipende però dai gestori del ristorante.....

31/12/2024: El restaurante gas una magnífica vista del océano Los platos principales eran excelentes - probar los spsgetti con cangrejo y hinojo. Los postres son "la cereza encima" de su experiencia gastronómica

15/10/2024: Comida increíble, servicio y hermosa vista! Sus mariscos se sirven frescos de la captura del día. Usted tiene la opción de elegir su pescado, cangrejo o langosta si lo desea. Mi hija pidió bistec sobre ensalada y le encantó. Pedí cavatelli con langostino y OMG estaba tan delicioso y se puede saborear la frescura del langostino. Tampoco nos dimos cuenta de que este restaurante era Michelin seleccionado hasta que nos fuimos y vimos el cartel. 10 / 10 recomendaría!

26/09/2024: Menu standard, non molto vario. Antipasti e primi piatti buoni. Non molte opzioni senza glutine, in particolare non c'è la pasta. Solo due tipi di dessert. Servizio nella norma.

18/03/2025: Pizza with friends in a really nice atmosphere... Top staff! My pizza with bresaola and rocket has arrived: a mini pizza with a 6 cm high and wide edge with four slices of bresaola and 20 rocket leaves... I came to eat... instead...

21/03/2025: Excellent selection of high quality products, local and otherwise. The counter is beautiful, extremely well-kept and inviting. The premises have been recently renovated. The prices are in line with the varied and substantial offer. Friendly and competent staff.

02/03/2025: I can't give zero stars because there is no possibility. I took some terrible mortadella, to throw away: dark and with a terrible taste. I don't understand how it's possible to leave it for sale. Also paid at 28 euros per kg.

28/04/2025: We had dinner at Mama Sea and really enjoyed our evening. The food was tasty, the service was good and very friendly, and the restaurant offers a beautiful view of the sea. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a lovely place to spend an evening. However, the prices are a bit high compared to the quality of the dishes. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but the value for money could be slightly better.

14/04/2025: Scillichenti, Acireale CT. Via Provinciale per Riposto, 88. We took bread seasoned to our liking. We promised ourselves, at the next opportunity, to try the piadina and some desserts. Prices are adequate for the quality of the products.
