19/05/2025: Ho acquistato presso una enoteca del Brindisino, precisamente ad Oria, denominata Wine Shop, una colomba ai frutti di bosco, ottima confezione ma purtroppo estremamente deludente, era scritto nel sito che c'era una crema ai frutti di bosco, mentre di fatto la crema era completamente assente e pertanto dal gusto estremamente asciutto. Una vera delusione visti gli elogi del negoziazione che l'ha venduta. Probabilmente hanno dimenticato di farcirla con la crema. Per fortuna che l'abbiamo aperta in famiglia evitando di regalarla.

18/05/2025: Non consiglierei questo posto neanche a una persona che mi sta antipatica, prenotazione a pranzo alle 13 e 30, tavolo sotto il sole cocente, ci fanno accomodare e vanno a comprare un ombrellone che copre solo 2 dei 6 commensali presenti al tavolo. Nel frattempo il cameriere aveva preso l ordinazione e, dopo 2 orette trascorse sotto il sole cocente, dopo nostra sollecitazione per conosce se lo stato della nostra ordinazione era in uscita, nel momento cruciale della giornata dove avevamo deciso ormai di alzarci escono gli antipasti. Sollevati da questo pensiamo "ok dai, può succedere" ma saltando due antipasti mai ricevuti( pepata e misto fritto) cominciano a comparire i camerieri con i primi, primi si fa per dire, nel fondo del piatto erano presenti poco più di 50gr di spaghetti, pesava di più il sale nel piatto, sto ancora bevendo acqua sperando di idratarmi mentre scrivo la recensione, abbiamo invitato il proprietario ad assaggiare il piatto che ci ha proposto di rifarlo,ma eravamo talmente tanto spazientiti che abbiamo rifiutato l offerta,detto questo arriva il conto, hanno provato ad abbuonirci con una bottiglia di vino e i dolci che abbiamo premurosamente rifiutato, con un conto scontato di appena 25 euro, con il sorriso di chi aveva fatto bene il suo lavoro, forse sarebbe meglio rivalutare le proprie priorità nella vita, detto questo vi invito a non metterci piede, e se volete mangiare ad acicastello, scegliete un altro posto.

23/05/2025: Awful attitude by head waiter. He forced ZBruschetta on us though we had no intention of ordering it. He derided us for eating the bread rolls when these were served in the table. Our main dishes did not come out together, but over a period of 15 minutes. Some of my party had nearly finished before I got my plate !

22/05/2025: Unacceptable Treatment at Da Carlo — A Humiliating Experience I rarely write reviews, but what happened at Da Carlo left me no choice. We arrived as a group of 11 and were seated promptly. We received the menus and asked for some water. Shortly after, we were offered bruschetta. We politely declined, wanting to look through the menu first. A second waiter came to offer it again, and we declined once more. Then what appeared to be the manager or owner approached us. For the third time, he insisted on the bruschetta. When we declined yet again, he turned to me and sarcastically said, “Don’t worry, you don’t have to pay,” and proceeded to ask me how many pieces of bread I had eaten so far — a completely inappropriate and humiliating question, especially in front of others. As we tried to place our food orders, things only got worse. We asked for pasta with vongole (clams) and another with cozze (mussels). He refused to take the order as requested, and instead shouted that he would make a mix of both, and that we could just give the parts we didn’t want to someone else at the table. The tone was aggressive, loud, and deeply disrespectful. At that point, I had enough. I have never been treated so rudely in any restaurant in my life. I felt bullied, embarrassed, and completely disrespected — especially in front of other diners who turned to look. I made the decision to leave. Dining out is supposed to be a pleasant experience — not one where you’re shouted at, belittled, or pressured into eating something you don’t want. Da Carlo not only failed in service, but in basic human decency.

16/05/2025: I was there for a business meeting, service was immediate without making us wait, really positive. An espresso and a croissant do not allow me to judge the quality of the food, however they were pleasant. The music was too loud which combined with the voices of the people made it difficult to exchange with the colleague. Next time I will look for a quieter spot in the structure

02/05/2025: One of the best pizzas in Carini. Perfect mozzarella, the kids don't drown, I want to point this out, you can see the quality from here. Then an excellent flavor and low prices. We went yesterday by chance, because on May 1st they were all closed and with this excuse we discovered this place. And we will definitely return

29/05/2025: On tour in the lands of Montalbano I asked for advice on where to eat. They recommended this restaurant and never was advice more appropriate. Very fresh fish, abundant and divinely cooked by a kitchen staff of only women led by chef Ivana. I would like this restaurant in Milan. Finally, honest bill for the quality eaten. Highly recommended.

29/05/2025: The 4.1 star is not accurate, this is a lovely restaurant. The food was fresh and tasty, chilled vibe and attentive staff. Well worth stopping in, far exceeded expectations.

Excellent wine cellar to choose from. Impeccable service. You can choose from meat to fish with Sicilian delicacies. I highly recommend it. Quality price, excellent
