03/11/2025: We took a nice stroll through the clean and well-maintained facility. Lunch with a large family, excellent dishes in large quantities. Beautiful and clean place, excellent service. A sore point is the restrooms, which unfortunately aren't the fault of the facility but of human incivility.

28/07/2025: Nous nous y sommes rendu en couple en soirée. Nous avons été accueilli en français, la carte est top et le repas était extraordinaire. Nous avons pris la formule 2 plats et les portions étaient suffisantes sans être excessives. Nous avons été très bien conseillé sur le vin et avons pris beaucoup de plaisir à venir y passer un bout de soirée. Restaurant à faire les yeux fermés :)

The owner let us use his phone to call the rental company and let us stay inside because it was late and very cold outside with a lot of wind. Molto Grazie!! Very generous owner, they also let you fill your bottle of water for free if you take the hike to the cassibile lakes, which you must do. Very beautiful.

22/09/2025: A beautiful and welcoming place in its simplicity. Authentic, traditional trattoria fare, from starters to main courses. Some dishes require advance reservation because they take a long time to prepare. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

09/11/2025: I ordered Involtini Pesce Spada Fresco Grigliati alla Siciliana. The rolls were very small, Spada is very thin, ingredients not tasty, the fried batter outside is badly burnt. Why is this dish cost 32euros? The waiter was kind but the stern faced lady who seems to me the shopkeeper was rather curt and blunt, store-oriented style, reluctant to welcome a customer from the far east small island.

12/09/2025: There were 6 of us, and we ordered 5 soups and a pizza. The mussels and spaghetti they bring to eat with the sauce were very good. The pizza was also decent. Super fast service... Maybe even a little too fast.

06/09/2025: Unfortunately, I chose a restaurant instead of pizza, a disappointment: the shrimp risotto, which was worth 4 euros, was already too much; if it was worth 14 euros, it would have been worth it! Then the three courses of mussels in a crust without shellfish were so dry and stale, with no substance! Then, at the end, they brought a kind of pasta that not even hungry dogs would have eaten, "ammataffata," without seasoning, and long-simmering! I paid about 100.00 to go hungry afterwards. The cashier pocketed the entire sum without taking away even a cent, despite my complaints. Shame!

25/10/2025: Located near the fish market, right in the center of Catania, this restaurant is popular with both tourists and locals. The dishes are generous and flavorful, and the prices are average for Catania. The pasta with pistachio pesto is delicious, and the service is attentive and fast. Special mention goes to the bald waiter who was able to recommend the restaurant and dishes to us while his colleagues at other restaurants were still trying to decide what to do. Recommended if you're in Catania.

Otherwise, it's a place to absolutely avoid. The waiters were indifferent, it almost seemed like you were doing them a favor, no attention to the customer, some were smoking on the right, some were sitting with their phones, truly zero professionalism, the food was of such poor quality that even the discount store offers better products, the platter was entirely made of bagged cured meats and cheeses, and of terrible quality at that, the sweet salami had been open for at least a day given its color and flavor, the only freshly sliced ​​thing was mortadella, all the cheeses were of the same flavor, there were only soft cheeses, not a single parmesan or aged one, to the point that at a certain point you get bored, not even honey or jam to accompany them, the worst platter I've ever eaten, for the modest sum of €30 and the classic case of a tourist place that has nothing to do with good Sicilian food, obviously a place not to be returned to. never again
