02/06/2025: The place is very welcoming, but speaking of the food... The mixed grill was a disappointment with the meatball being clearly a mass of meat, the only good thing was the pasta and chips, then by continually asking the staff the food arrived after half an hour.

04/06/2025: Horrible pizza, I ordered a pistachio pizza that I paid a whopping €13, and they brought me a pizza with small slices of mortadella, like Hungarian salami, the kind you buy in large supermarkets for 60 cents per 100 grams; for chopped pistachios, just a sprinkling of pistachio flour... The waiters understood the situation and were certainly sorry for my disappointment The manager wanted to make up for it by taking €1.50 off the bill, which I clearly left on the table I will never repeat this experience again

08/06/2025: During our vacation in Nicolosi, we ate there several times. It's very easy to reach on foot, we always got a free table (8 p.m., after 9 p.m. it became difficult to get a seat), and the value for money is unbeatable! We tried various dishes, whether pizza, pasta, or meat, and everything was always delicious, and we were completely full.

25/05/2025: I've been going to Salvo and Jenny Chisari's Macumba for years, always everything is plentiful and good, in the evening pizza 🍕 from number one, one of the last remaining in Catania and the province who know what a good pizza is 💪💪😋😋

21/09/2024: Atmosphere is fantastic. The service could have been a lot better. For the location and pace of Palermo it was snail-like service. The server seemed disinterested. It was a turn-off for a total bill of $80 Euro. We also asked for fresh olive oil in a bottle (as we saw on many other tables) and the waitress brought packets in plastic. Very disappointing for all the rave.

23/05/2025: We were recommended this place, and based on the good reviews, we wanted to have dinner there. However, from the very first moment, we felt unwelcome. The service was terrible. Every other guest, except us, received a welcome from the kitchen with their drinks. The main courses took a while to arrive, but were quite good. However, for the price, we would have expected more. A drink and a main course per person cost €50. We wouldn't go there again, as Palermo has many nicer restaurants to offer.

15/05/2025: Found this restaurant when we were walking around Palermo and looked a very nice place so we booked for a 20:30 booking . When we arrived on the evening it was busy with locals so you know it must be good . Service was very good food was amazing and the atmosphere was great . While we were sat there we could a women singing and a brass band and then all of a sudden they came round the corner about 20 men carrying Jesus on a cross, from one church to another and then had a massive night math outside church and then walked back to the church they came from playing music . It was lovely to see would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Palermo, we will when we go back next definitely. Grazie

18/04/2025: Fantastic pizzeria, close to home! I always order the Capricciosa, and it's delicious, my son likes the Sfiziosa; they deliver to your home, they are punctual. We really needed a pizzeria like this! p.s. they know me as Meazza.

22/04/2025: Ho pranzato presso il ristorante “a Paranza” a Cefalù proprio ieri in occasione del giorno di Pasquetta. Conoscevamo il ristorante a campofelice di Roccella e siamo ritornati in quanto ci siamo sempre trovati bene. Nota super positiva, che sembra scontata, il pane! Buonissimo, uno dei più buoni mai mangiati… dico sul serio! Il proprietario durante l’attesa ci ha offerto un trancio di pizza con la cipolla e l’acciuga simile allo sfincione. Ottimo, buonissimo !!! Abbiamo ordinato zuppa di cozze, e insalata di mare tutto ottimo. Poi abbiamo ordinato pasta con le vongole, un fritto di paranza, e io ho ordinato un calamaro verace alla griglia ( che era buono, ma un po’ duro). Nel complesso è stata un’ottima esperienza da ripetere perché il cibo è veramente ottimo. La prossima volta verrò per una pizza perché era veramente invitante !!! Grazie ancora al proprietario gentilissimo! A presto

20/02/2025: Tornare sempre dove si sta bene Febbraio 2025 Quando penso che devo cenare alla A Paranza già inizio ad immaginare cosa ci divertiremo ad inventare e sulle tue proposte Vito Lucchese non ho mai dubbi… però è vero da lì nasce una complicità di intenti comuni … il tuo di innalzare l’arte bianca della pizza a livelli altissimi… il mio di gustare di esplorare di aiutarti a trovare quel quid che rende le tue pizze non gourmet ma viaggi gastronomici e sensoriali ! La A Paranza è sicuramente un fiore all’occhiello nel mondo della ristorazione con personale gentile preparato sempre a disposizione col sorriso sulle labbra. L’unica pecca…. Creare dipendenza 😂❤️. 10/05/2025: Siamo stati con amici a pranzo, buono l’antipasto, ottimo il servizio, ma deludente i primi piatti per la poca scelta, avrei scelto una bel piatto di spaghetti con cozze, vongole, pesce spada, gamberetti, ma mi sono dovuto accontentare di un primo con gamberetti, ciliegino, grana, pistacchio, gamberetti congelati, poco sapore, ho mangiato delle trofie con ciliegino e grana,

Ammirare la bellezza della natura con buon cibo e buon vino non ha prezzo Antipasti molto delicati, come il cocktail di gamberetti con maionese all arancia e mango... Polipo su macco di fave... Crudite'super fresche... primo ai ricci di mare, squisitissimo!! Mai mangiato così buono! L ospitalità e la cordialità dei proprietari è superlativo Il personale molto gentile e premuroso Complimenti per tutto, ritornerò con immenso piacere

14/06/2025: Il pranzo all’Antico Borgo di Macari è stato un’esperienza straordinaria che porteremo nel cuore. Abbiamo apprezzato la terrazza con vista sul mare, un piacevole scenario che ha arricchito il momento. Il menu a base di pesce è stato all’altezza delle aspettative. Tra i piatti che ci hanno conquistati, spicca il tortino di gamberi con crema di mango, un’esplosione di sapori freschi e raffinati, con la vellutata crema di mango che si abbina splendidamente al gusto delicato dei gamberi, il tutto valorizzato da una presentazione impeccabile. Abbiamo anche gustato la caponata di pesce spada, un piatto ricco di sapori siciliani, dove il pesce spada si fonde armoniosamente con le verdure tipiche, offrendo un equilibrio perfetto tra dolce e salato. Un’altra delizia sono state le bussiate con pesto di pistacchio, gamberi a crudo e scaglie di tartufo, un piatto cremoso e aromatico, dove il pesto di pistacchio si armonizza con la freschezza dei gamberi crudi e il profumo intenso delle scaglie di tartufo. Non possiamo dimenticare il couscous di pesce, un piatto ricco e saporito, preparato con cura e ricco di ingredienti freschi che ne fanno un vero highlight del menu. Abbiamo apprezzato anche le sarde a beccafico, un classico siciliano preparato con maestria, dal sapore ricco e avvolgente che celebra la tradizione locale. Il pescato del giorno grigliato, cotto alla perfezione con un contorno di verdure di stagione, ha chiuso il pasto in bellezza. La selezione di vini locali, ben assortita, ha esaltato ogni boccone. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, con un personale attento, gentile e mai invadente, che ha reso tutto ancora più piacevole.

23/10/2024: Restaurent accueillant avec des produits de qualité. Les plats sont tous tournés autour de la mer; un seul plat de viande est proposé mais il est délicieux. Les desserts et les boissons sont bonnes. Il y a moyen de boire du bon vin car la carte est grande. Le serveur parle anglais correctement, ce qui facilite la communication. Le service est rapide et les plats sont biens présentés. On recommande cet endroit, dont on attendait rien mais qui nous a beaucoup plu.

15/06/2025: Wat hebben we hier heerlijk gegeten! Als je net even iets anders wil dan de authentieke italiaanse gerechten. Kun je hier prima dineren. We hebben zelf 2 burgers gehad met frietjes ernaast. Daarbij hebben we in het buitenland nog nooit goede friet gehad, hier dus wel wat heerlijk. Hartelijk dank voor de fijne avond en gastvrijheid. 04/06/2025: Excellent food, good quality of raw materials. Unfortunately, the whole thing is devalued by the somewhat lacking service, details often make the difference. Wooden trays really too worn. The curtains of the outdoor space, all torn. It's really a shame!

17/05/2025: The ice cream is not that great, the coffee cream was inedible (it was not cold in fact it was very melted) And the bathrooms, oh my the bathrooms! An unsightly and unusable thing (both men and women) and I was there during the week and there was no confusion at all!
