A friend recommended this stake house establishment, yet it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I've encountered in the last decade The service was nothing short of abysmal. We were consistently ignored by the waiter, who seemed too preoccupied with other tables to attend to us properly. This lack of attention was frustrating, as we had to repeatedly call over, only to be told he was busy. Our party of five was clearly the largest table that night, but that did not seem to warrant any extra focus from the staff. Furthermore, the manager's inattention was equally disappointing. When I asked for the bill, it was brought to us from another table, and after I mistakenly paid for that, the manager confirmed it was wrong. I felt extremely uncomfortable being forced to settle the bill again for the correct table, especially after our service had been so poor. Throughout our meal, the table remained cluttered with empty dishes, and not once did the GM approach us to inquire about our experience. It was disheartening to feel neglected when we were simply seeking a pleasant evening out. When we finally voiced our concerns, the waiter responded with a defensive attitude, boasting about his experience instead of addressing our issues. Food quality aside, the service we received was unacceptable. Being on holiday, one hopes to be treated with respect, yet we felt distinctly undervalued compared to other table and treat with bias In a region known for its warmth and hospitality, Il Macellaio stands out as a stark exception. If you are seeking quality dining with professional service in Olbia, I suggest exploring the many other establishments that can truly appreciate and cater to their customers.

25/07/2025: Good morning, I was on vacation in Porto Pozzo and this restaurant was recommended to me. We ordered five portions of mixed fried fish to take away for a total of €90. I definitely found the quantity to be minimal for the price, and I wasn't entirely satisfied with the quality of the mixed fried fish. The shrimp were tiny, most of the fried fish consisted of tiny fish, and the anchovies were dry and overly breaded. I don't question the quality of the pizza, but as for the fried fish, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

29/07/2025: Stopped by by chance one evening in Olbia. We had really good food, a pizza, a cod dish and the most delicious fregola with seafood, and great service despite being very busy.

15/07/2025: Great restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere, helpful staff, excellent pizza. We arrived about an hour before closing time, hungry and thirsty, but the staff willingly took care of us, even though there were eight of us. It was great.

The kindness and thoughtfulness of the competent and attentive staff is immediately striking... qualities that are increasingly rare in restaurants in these tourist places! Abundant dishes and fresh, quality food, both meat and fish... excellent value for money! I highly recommend it... we will definitely be back!

22/06/2025: I had the opportunity to dine there last night. Warm evening, dinner outside in the cathedral square. Informal and polite atmosphere. Punctual and fast service. Very kind and affable staff (Mirco). Very good pizza and excellent mussels alla marinara. Beautiful evening, to return.

12/07/2025: Dov'è il tempo si è fermato e tutto parla di tradizione ... Un menù che si ripete, fedele a se stesso, alla storia e alle radici locali ... Antipasti di ottimi salumi, patate e salsiccia al forno, pecorino, un tris di primi (tra cui la zuppa gallurese), il porcellino, le seadas. Menù fisso, vini inclusi, prezzo differenziato adulti e bambini. Belle maniere.

25/07/2025: The LU Brutoni restaurant is located in the heart of San Teodoro on Via dei Gerani. During dinner, we sampled several dishes carefully prepared by the chef and meticulously plated, creating a perfect balance of flavors. Special dishes that are definitely worth mentioning: - Eggplant flan, pecorino chips, red datterino tomato emulsion and burrata - Artisanal button stuffed with grouper and leek, bisquet and raw shrimp. - Turbot in leek and shallot cream, crispy fennel and caramelized onion - Tuna in a guttiau crust, bell pepper sauce and florets. - Salted caramel semifreddo, cocoa crumble and berries - Milk and ginger cream, raspberry gel, papassino crumble and Maldon salt flakes. The service throughout the dinner was efficient and attentive, courtesy of the dining room staff, Benedetta and Sara. Although I couldn't choose the wine I wanted because they were temporarily out of stock, I paired it with a savory, minerally, and engaging Vermentino, the "Fiore del Sasso" from the Contralta winery. It's recommended to keep the wine list up to date, even physically. However, based on the above information regarding the dishes and service, my overall rating is the highest: 5.

17/08/2025: We had dinner at Il Guscio restaurant and the experience was truly excellent. We ordered a beef tagliata, a beef tartare, a salmon tartare, a fried dish, a tuna fillet, and the octopus: all the dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients, carefully presented, and impeccably flavored. We were immediately impressed by the quality of the meat and fish, and every course lived up to expectations. Special thanks go to our waiter, Kevin, who was kind, attentive, and very professional. He was able to offer excellent recommendations and made the dinner even more enjoyable with his impeccable service. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for high-end cuisine accompanied by warm and attentive service. We will definitely be back!
