Our all-time favorite restaurant! A must-visit every time we visit Sardinia. The mussels, served fresh from the pot and with a variety of condiments, are a special highlight. The food is fresh and high-quality, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, accommodating every customer request. Excellent food! Wonderful atmosphere. Our waiter Nico was outstanding! He was very friendly, incredibly attentive, and even spoke a little German, although that wasn't really necessary. Highly recommended!

A simple yet refined and elegant place. By simple, I mean that as soon as you walk in, the entire staff makes you feel welcomed, yet with genuine kindness, almost as if you were at home. The dishes are sophisticated but not overly so; many varieties of mussel soup (their specialty) and plenty of choice in other dishes as well. The only downside was that we paid €16 for a plate of pasta with tomato sauce for our daughter, but then again, those are more or less the same prices as elsewhere in Sardinia.
Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

SPECTACULAR!!! A wonderful experience! L'Assaggio is one of those places that literally makes you enjoy!
It's not easy to find a combination like this: a super-characteristic location + delicious dishes + hospitality, friendliness, and excellent service!
It's worth a trip on its own, but not only if you're in Sardinia; L'Assaggio is worth a trip just to experience it.
The owners, Liliana and Graziano, are wonderful people who welcome you, guide you, and pamper you, making your dinner memorable!
The entire staff is also superb!

L’Assaggio is phenomenal. The food—especially the incredible mussel dishes and fresh regional seafood—is absolutely top-notch and full of flavor.
What truly elevates this place, though, is the service. Antonio, our waiter, was an absolute standout! He was exceptionally attentive, warm, and gave us spot-on wine and dish recommendations that made the night.
Phenomenal food, beautiful vibe, and world-class hospitality. If you visit, ask for Antonio—you’re in for a treat!
