12/08/2024: We were there a day after we had dinner at the (crowded and cheerless La Caletta): what a contrast!!! The welcome here was super warm, the food sublime, the environment small-scale and very intimate. This address gets a heart on Google Maps!

23/08/2024: Siamo stati qui per una cena in famiglia, abbiamo preso la pizza e devo dire che è veramente buona, grande, ben cotta e ingredienti ottimi, io personalmente ho preso la quadrifoglio che è stata una bella esperienza, 4 spicchi con 4 gusti diversi, tutti ottimi, in modo che così non ci si stufa. Come dolce ho preso una crema catalana, una bella esperienza che ripeteremo in futuro

03/08/2024: The idea of focusing the cuisine on lentu bread is excellent, an interesting menu in the tradition of Sardinia and above all Barbagia, with dishes presented in a contemporary way. Wines and beers are also local. Friendly staff, with a smile and impeccable service. A place with attention to the smallest details in a beautiful spot in the historic center. Absolutely adequate prices. Well done.

21/08/2024: In the historic center of Dorgali in a suggestive atmosphere where the staff is a mix of friendliness and professionalism. We took an aperitif platter with prosecco and to continue pizza and beer. It was all top quality. Super recommended

The restaurants next to each other on the street all belong together.
A glass of wine is a maximum of 0.1l and sometimes not even completely filled.
The service was very hectic and not particularly friendly. 2€ service money is outrageous.

14/08/2024: Location chosen thanks to reviews on the internet. Never was a more appropriate choice than this one. Excellent welcome in the room, without a reservation, we sat down and immediately some carasau bread and water were brought to us. We opted for 3 dishes off the menu of the day:
-Tagliolini with melted butter and truffle
-Tagliolini with friarelli pesto and Sardinian flower
-Sheep in sauce with peas
Furthermore, a portion of broad beans was taken from the à la carte menu.
Half a liter of super good and recommended house wine.
As for the first courses, we were advised to try the Tagliolino with melted butter and truffle first and then the other one. Indeed, an excellent indication as the tagliolini with pesto was very intense in flavour. Both perfect, excellent cooking and excellent seasoning. The sheep in sauce with peas made me feel at home, authentic and genuine flavours. Exquisite. I personally didn't eat the broad beans as I'm a fabian, but my partner appreciated it 100%.
To close coffee and coffee grinder.
I'd say it was a great choice, considering we weren't local and relied completely on reviews. If there is an opportunity we will definitely return and I recommend it to anyone passing through Gavoi to stop and eat.
The portions of the first courses in the photo are not for one person, but from one portion we tasted both. I would say that the portion for one person is quite rich and satisfying.
The à la carte menu had a lot of choice, different from the usual restaurants; Furthermore, I can confidently say that you have the opportunity to really eat traditional Sardinian dishes revisited in a modern way.
The person who welcomed us and served us throughout the entire lunch was very kind, friendly and professional.
23/06/2024: Come ogni anno tappa fissa a Gavoi una perla nel Gennargentu, e tappa fissa da Rossano trattoria Borello a Gavoi.
Antipasti spettacolari la fonduta di pecorino una bontà e il porcetto che ogni anno chiediamo fantastico cotenna croccante che si scioglie in bocca.

11/08/2024: Da apprezzare l’offerta di pizza senza glutine rovinata però dal fatto che la pizza fosse troppo bruciata. Location così così con i tavolini della pizzeria a bordo strada. Da segnalare anche l’impossibilità di effettuare pagamenti digitali almeno nella serata in cui siamo stati noi. Nel complesso non ci tornerei
