13/05/2026: And this is the second time we've had dinner there, everything was perfect, the waiters were good and well-prepared, the owner Antonello makes you feel welcomed, wanted and cared for as if you were at home, the service is impeccable, the menu is varied and complete, the dishes were delicious, the tuna tartare and the carpaccio were excellent like everything else, the place is super refined, thanks for everything, we will definitely be back.

09/06/2026: We stumbled upon the L'Oasi restaurant by chance while strolling through Carloforte. We were looking for a selection of traditional dishes, but also original, and here we found them ☺️!
The octopus appetizer on a bed of flavored mashed potatoes was unforgettable: one of the best we've ever eaten.
For our first courses, we chose the Carlofortino pastry and a dish of the day: fregola with grouper. Spectacular. We finished with the tuna belly 🐟, which we really enjoyed. The courtesy and professionalism of the staff, as well as the elegant and original atmosphere, truly made the lunch perfect. Thank you, we'll definitely be back!

There are many dishes available, and they're all delicious.
Table service is attentive and fast, despite the restaurant being always full.
06/08/2026: Undoubtedly the best pizza in Carloforte. Beautiful setting, both the alleyway leading to the restaurant and the former warehouse converted into a dining room. The staff is attentive and professional. Top-notch pizza. The dough is perfectly cooked, and the gourmet pizzas are the highlight of this place. The only flaw is that when you order the buffalo mozzarella, it leaves a lot of whey on the pizza. You have to drain it before baking it for a long time, a mistake unfortunately made by so many pizza makers. Everything else is impeccable.

10/01/2026: For my family and I, dining at this restaurant when we're in Carloforte has been a rewarding "must" for years.
Andrea, Madda, and Cristiano, along with their kitchen team, are a guarantee, and their menu is rich, varied, and flavorful.
The waiters in the dining room are a very close-knit team, attentive to their customers, knowledgeable, friendly, and quick with their service. Carmelo is a highly knowledgeable and versatile sommelier. 😀 What can I say? They're all top-notch, and we feel truly pampered. Thank you all. See you in September. 🥰

10/08/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance, as it was the only restaurant with availability (it was August 7th). The staff were extremely friendly, the service was quick, the food delicious, and the price was absolutely right.
We returned a week later, and the wonderful experience was confirmed.
31/07/2026: Tagliolini del Corsaro are delicious, the service is welcoming and the place is in perfect harmony with the island.

06/08/2026: We went in and it said "air conditioned." It was unbearable to stay inside in the constant 40 degrees. We waited 1.5 hours for our dishes after several errors. Some of the food was good, others were too much to stomach. We'll never go back.

11/08/2026: Lots of suggestions and reviews, and then, strolling through the alleys of Carloforte, we discovered U Barachè, and from that evening onwards, a true addiction began!
Andrea's suggestions at the table (if you offer him a sincere thank you, he gets emotional...), the kindness, expertise, and anecdotes of Roberta and Valentina, and finally, Boss Gianni, whose wisdom turns every course into a journey of flavors and aromas.
I don't remember the names of the other staff members, and I apologize.

06/08/2026: I'll start by saying I came for the birthday of a friend who's known the restaurant and the chef for a long time. So, he was the one discussing the menu. The appetizers included raw fish (shrimp, snapper tartare, tuna belly, and tuna teriyaki), all excellent; hot and cold seafood appetizers, good without much praise; pasta with shrimp bisque, raw shrimp, and truffle, simply exceptional. Not for everyone, not even in Carloforte, a place that is top-notch for tuna and seafood in general. Definitely worth returning.

29/04/2026: The restaurant was very well-maintained, as was the service from a young woman and a young man who looked after us throughout the rest of the meal. I chose the breaded swordfish fillet (see photo), and I must say I was a bit disappointed. The fish flavor was too overpowering, so it tasted like a cutlet. Not bad, but I expected something more. The other two people I had lunch with chose the tuna alla carlofortina and grilled corvina fillet, both excellent. Next, they had a mille-feuille with a pistachio cream.
It was recommended to me by the property where I'm staying, both for the excellent quality of the food and for the food inside (there's no specific sign outside, it just says "restaurant"); the window display was very inviting.
I'd recommend it too!
13/12/2025: Delicious dishes, especially the restaurant's signature spaghetti with squid ink. Super friendly and professional service.

14/08/2026: Tourist trap! Avoid at all costs!
We had a reservation for three people at 1:15 PM. When we arrived five minutes early, we were told the restaurant was full. Since we mentioned our reservation, they rudely seated us at a table for eight, leaving all the cutlery piled up next to us. We waited almost 30 minutes for our order, even though the restaurant wasn't full and there were plenty of servers. The owner sat down with us to take our order and was anything but friendly. Fifty minutes after arriving, my husband received his "plate": a poorly presented sausage wrapped around five lettuce leaves with no dressing, even though he had ordered a mixed salad for €6. My daughter and I received our plates at least 20 minutes later! The tuna pasta was good, admittedly, but why the long wait?! We went to pay, and there wasn't a smile in sight. The bill was presented on a calculator! €60 for two plates of pasta and a piece of sausage at the bottom of one plate with a pitcher of wine!! In short, a complete rip-off, don't go there.
The owner will probably leave a nasty review, but it won't make up for this ruined experience.
14/08/2026: The wait was too long, the staff were unpleasant, and the price was astronomical for the quality... I do not recommend it.

08/07/2026: The pasticcio was mediocre; we ate it at lunchtime at A Galaia and it was delicious there, but here it was not refined at all. I had a boiled tuna as a main course; I received a large piece of boiled tuna on my plate with some tomato sauce. I rarely leave anything behind, but this time I did. Service: I asked for a glass of white wine, and she brought me prosecco. I called her back, and she blithely replied that they don't serve white wine by the glass. Did she think I wasn't going to taste it and would just give me something else? "White wine only by the quarter liter," she replied... (also my first time in Sardinia). Okay then, but this one was rubbish. I asked for small plates to put the olive oil on; she forgot them. Then she came back 5 minutes later asking again if I needed plates. I had just asked for them, so I don't understand why she came to ask again. I indicated that she should just let it go. I sent half the tuna back at the end, no question about whether I enjoyed it, no check in between to see if everything was okay. I know I never send food back and I'm not a wimp, but it was just rubbish.

22/02/2026: The gelato was delicious. I ordered three flavors at a reasonable price and enjoyed it in the streets of the historic center, near the steps. It's an experience I'd happily repeat. The place has several shaded outdoor tables, perfect for summer.
