Lots of suggestions and reviews, and then, strolling through the alleys of Carloforte, we discovered U Barachè, and from that evening onwards, a true addiction began!
Andrea's suggestions at the table (if you offer him a sincere thank you, he gets emotional...), the kindness, expertise, and anecdotes of Roberta and Valentina, and finally, Boss Gianni, whose wisdom turns every course into a journey of flavors and aromas.
I don't remember the names of the other staff members, and I apologize.

I'll start by saying I came for the birthday of a friend who's known the restaurant and the chef for a long time. So, he was the one discussing the menu. The appetizers included raw fish (shrimp, snapper tartare, tuna belly, and tuna teriyaki), all excellent; hot and cold seafood appetizers, good without much praise; pasta with shrimp bisque, raw shrimp, and truffle, simply exceptional. Not for everyone, not even in Carloforte, a place that is top-notch for tuna and seafood in general. Definitely worth returning.

The food wasn't bad at all, quite the opposite, and the service was pretty good; the staff were friendly.
But we paid €100 for two dishes pictured, and I honestly think that's excessive!

What can I say... we spent four days in Carloforte, and happily ate lunch and dinner at this excellent restaurant four times! The kindness, helpfulness, and connection with the owners were top-notch; the quality of the food was carefully selected and prepared, from the tuna tartare to the burrata with shrimp and truffle, the first courses, the baked catch of the day, and finally the myrtle sorbet, all washed down with an unforgettable Vermentino. We'll be back!

We had burrata, ravioli, and mullet roe as an appetizer. A huge plate of spaghetti with bottarga and limpets was excellent. A glass of wine and a bottle of water. Total: €50
It's a shame we don't have it near our house. I really enjoyed it.
