I discovered Bliss on Via Paoli for lunch on Friday and it was a truly impeccable experience in every way. We began with a selection of appetizers that immediately demonstrated the exceptional quality of the cuisine: four incredibly fresh and fantastic oysters, tender octopus accompanied by flavorful roasted artichokes, and monkfish with burrata, creating a truly perfect contrast of textures. Each dish conveyed an uncommon care for the ingredients, making the opening of the meal a moment of pure pleasure.
The lunch continued with the first courses, which lived up to expectations. The calamarata was simply sublime, perfectly cooked and with a balanced seasoning, while the tagliolini with burrata and raw shrimp offered an explosion of freshness and incredible elegance. All this was accompanied by an excellent white wine by the glass, which enhanced each course without ever overpowering it. Everything was perfect and delicious, a testament to the quality this restaurant offers in the heart of Cagliari.

After a truly wonderful therapy session, I took some time to savor the moment here. When I was in Cagliari in December 2025/January 2026, the restaurant was closed for its annual holiday – so I was all the more delighted to receive such a warm welcome this time, even as a solo guest.
My server was exceptionally attentive, friendly, and always eager to fulfill my every wish – a real treat simply because of the service.
I started with a generous portion of Iberico, which was almost too much for an appetizer, but tasted absolutely delicious.
For my main course, I treated myself to a Filet Rossini with truffles and Swiss chard to celebrate the occasion. The foie gras was cooked to perfection; while the filet itself wasn't quite on par with those I enjoyed a few months earlier in Japan (Kobe), Argentina, and Uruguay – that's to be expected and doesn't detract from the enjoyment of the moment. The recommended Pinot Noir perfectly complemented the dish.
The dessert, "Affogato," recommended by the waiter, was another highlight—absolutely delicious, and not a crumb was left.
After the macchiato, the bill was presented to me in a stylish silver case—tasteful and perfectly suited to the restaurant's ambiance.
Finally, the house offered an aperitif, a delightful and generous end to a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
A restaurant that will definitely remain on my list of favorites.
The atmosphere of this restaurant was so consistently pleasant that I decided to spend the last evening of my four-month winter vacation right here.
At the same time, it was also a personal occasion for me to celebrate—in gratitude to my wonderful therapist, who helped me regain my vitality. At 75, you know how precious it is to enjoy life and share happiness.

The culinary experience was truly exceptional: The appetizer – a kind of "Italian caviar" – combined with superb French butter and a perfectly paired wine, was so delicious that I immediately ordered it a second time.
For my main course, I chose quail – so expertly prepared that I simply had to have it again. Everything was accompanied by a very good wine, which I savored in several glasses.
The value for money is simply impressive: €18 for such high-quality quail – in Austria, you'd hardly find anything for less than twice that price.
For dessert, I stuck with the classic affogato, followed by the obligatory macchiato. I was also particularly pleased to see one of my favorite champagnes on the menu: Billecart-Salmon Le Réserve.
Out of appreciation for the outstanding service, I treated the entire team – including the owner – to a drink and added a tip. Good restaurants thrive on dedicated people, and this is exactly the recognition they deserve.
A truly special evening that I will remember fondly.
