It was a pleasant surprise, a place without too many frills but with plenty of substance.
Excellent value thanks to the use of high-quality, fresh ingredients.
In my opinion, it's definitely worth trying again.

02/04/2026: We stumbled upon Saseada by chance on our first evening in Cagliari and loved it so much we returned on our last day. The place is small and well-kept, with a historic feel. The young man who welcomed us was super helpful in recommending honeys and liqueurs to pair with our desserts. The fried food was delicious, dry, and light. The honeys are very unique and niche. There's a wide selection of liqueurs and sweet wines.

29/03/2026: Today I had lunch here for the first time with my family, a small and welcoming place. We enjoyed both the service (everyone was very welcoming and helpful, even introducing us to the menu and offering recommendations) and the quiet, well-maintained, and quiet atmosphere. The dishes were generously seasoned, generously portioned, and the ingredients were all fresh. For our main course, we also chose the fried fish: light and richer, offering a greater variety than traditional fritto misto. I'd heard good things about this place, and lunch lived up to my expectations.

11/01/2026: I stop by almost every Sunday for a coffee. A coffee worthy of the name: truly good! I'm always greeted with kindness and a smile. I sit on a stool at a counter that overlooks Piazza Yenne from the window. It's always a beautiful moment.

16/10/2025: A highly recommended restaurant and very well located. The staff was very friendly, we were served by a very pretty girl, she even made the effort to say a few words in Spanish (and we in Italian, of course…)
The food was delicious and very well priced (coming from BCN is what it is….at least we find everything cheap…).
As tourists we like to eat well and look for places where the locals go…

18/04/2026: We went there because of the high rating on Google. The food wasn't the best, but it looked really nice, better than in pics in Google maps. The owner of a place or the man who works there was really nice, he gave us some information what to see and where to eat in Cagliari, his recommendation which was a nice touch. Although I wouldn't go back there for food.

A very cute place with lots of animals (horses, chickens, and pigs), perfect for kids.
