Menu with various typical proposals between fish and meat prepared on the spot using local products. Highly recommended if you happen to be in Oristano

15/05/2025: Like others, we found the owner to be duplicitous and arrogant I txt week before our booking, to book a table at the restaurant to be told its closed on a Monday, ..not a problem. When we arrived on the Monday we were told we couldnt book as restaurant closed Tuesday as chef was sick, but they were open weekends. The chef wasnt sick they hadnt open restaurant fully as was start of season. We asked to cancel and told No..we left any way, as would have to drive for miles to get dinner. Points to note Rooms are sparse and looked in need of a good clean / renovation. Hotel is situated down a track, and is next to a busy highway, traffic noise. A large bull mastiff roams the grounds freely The son is ok and you can talk to him but mother is an awful woman. I couldnt recommend this to anyone

08/05/2025: Meat-based dinner, and following overnight stay. Excellent quality and refined food, excellent service, medium-high price (in line with the quality of the offer).

07/05/2025: There is commitment from the staff but greater coordination would be useful. Lasagna and baked potatoes quite good. Superior breakfasts: good coffee, excellent cream pasta.

22/05/2025: We sat at the table, waited 15 minutes for someone to notice us, after which the waiter comes to ask us if we had already ordered, in all this two tables had already consumed, so there were only us as new customers, we told him no, he threw us two menus for the drinks without asking us if we wanted to have lunch considering the time. Really bad, it's not the first time it's happened, and honestly that's enough.

21/05/2025: Spectacular!! During an 8-day stay, we dined there three times! It doesn't look special upon entering (it looks like a typical village bar), but go up the stairs and discover a fantastic terrace with views of the castle and a stunning sunset over the sea! The food was spectacular, generous portions at a good price, home-cooked food. The waiter was very attentive and friendly, always willing to give advice and crack a joke. In short... A place to come back to!

Exquisite food and a very formal location, we had a great time and I highly recommend it to anyone passing through Oristano, the restaurant is located in the center, if we have the chance we will definitely return!!! Note of merit for the selection of wines (Sardinian obviously 🔝) greetings from Ischia 👍🏼

04/05/2025: My partner and I had dinner at Craf da banana together with two friends who were staying in Oristano. The place is really very nice. The staff is welcoming and kind: they gave us all the explanations requested during dinner and appeared very prepared. We drank an excellent Vermentino produced by them with a very high quality-price ratio. The food was simply excellent, we particularly recommend the mullet tartare and the mullet turban with carasau bread. The fish first courses are also excellent. We would have liked to have dinner with them again in the following days to try their meat (which had been recommended to us by some locals) but unfortunately they were closed on May 1st. It's a shame, but it will be a good opportunity to return to Oristano!

11/05/2025: We returned to this delightful restaurant for the third time, and once again we left happy and fully satisfied! The quality of the food is always excellent: the fried mixed fish is light and crunchy, while the sliced ​​fish is tender and tasty, prepared with excellent quality meat. But what makes this place truly special is the warm welcome of the owners. Their friendliness and availability make every customer feel at home, creating a family atmosphere that distinguishes this restaurant from many others. A true pearl to return to with pleasure.

04/05/2025: Visited May 2025. Beautiful and recently renovated place. Service 10/10, staff present, large tables and space between tables to have enough privacy. The food is quite classic. we had 1 sample of cold and hot seafood appetizers for every 2 people, very abundant and of high quality. Then 4 excellent raw prawns and 4 raw oysters (good but small). Finally, 1 first course each, decidedly well seasoned and plentiful, at least 100g of pasta per portion. 1 red head goblet. Paid 225 euros in total. Given the prices in Cagliari, I was surprised that I paid so little for everything we ate and for the service. Highly recommended.

14/05/2025: I really had a great time. I thank everyone again for the availability and kindness shown by the team in general. I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants to try special and new culinary dishes at the same time. This restaurant is one of the best for me, and I thank Marco Prendolin and his partner again for the friendliness and cheerfulness they have transmitted. A warm greeting and a hug to all the staff.

08/05/2025: Ci sono stato a cena e ho scoperto che il proprietario è Marco Predolin, conduttore televisivo che seguivo con piacere anni fa. Si mangia benissimo, il personale è gentilissimo e il Sig. Predolin è simpaticissimo e cordialissimo. I prezzi li ritengo in linea considerando il posto in cui è ubicato. Lo consiglio a tutti. Ci ritornerò sicuramente. FORZA MARCO 🎥🎥🎥🏆🏆🏆🏆
