01/08/2026: Our most wonderful getaway in Sardinia! We were welcomed like nowhere else, the place is perfect, and the food, homemade by the family, is delicious. The best meal we had in Sardinia. Seriously, make the trip if you need to! Note that it's only open 3 evenings a week because they take care of the animals next door! Thank you for your hospitality, Angelo!

01/08/2026: I had the opportunity to stay at Angelo's farmhouse. It was a perfect stay; we parked the camper in a shaded area, and the children were thrilled to be in close contact with the farm animals. The dinner was delicious, everything homemade by his mother. The value for money was absolutely excellent. It was fantastic to end the evening with Angelo's stories and anecdotes about his work.

02/11/2025: The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was stunning. We shared the Lasagna for lunch and it was the best we’ve ever had. The chef sent us some mussels in a dreamy sauce and then desert cookies when we were done. We highly recommend this restaurant!

10/07/2026: I don't usually write reviews, but after dinner at Opera Viva, I have to: the fregola we had was excellent; the grilled vegetables were great too, and the tiramisu was absolutely wonderful. It had been a long time since a meal had made me so happy. This place, seemingly unassuming and without any frills, but with top-notch cuisine, will stay with me forever.

For a remarkably reasonable price, you can choose from two first-class six-course tasting menus: one featuring fish or meat, and the other vegetarian. Manuele masterfully balances the traditional influences of Sardinian cuisine with a modern, product-focused Mediterranean approach. And there's always a new surprise on your plate! Malania, who manages the service with expertise and meticulous attention to detail, also oversees the wine cellar and bar. Here, excellent advice, professional service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere come together. Melania and Manuele not only stand behind their first names, but also their personalities, experience and love for their restaurant, making the small Via Circonvallazione a charming pilgrimage site for gourmets.

24/10/2025: Superlative dinner in a spectacular setting. The family is incredibly hospitable, helpful, and incredibly kind. You can watch the pig being carved and sit by the fire while it cooks. The more you look at the sheepfold, the more you discover; every corner holds a surprise, from the wooden sculptures to the fossils embedded in the rock, to the ancient tools. A magical place immersed in nature. Reservations are required; follow the directions rather than Google Maps: 3 km of well-maintained dirt road, but still difficult for very low cars. An ABSOLUTELY worthwhile experience if you're in the area.
