23/02/2026: Too bad: the place itself is cozy, but the service was very slow and the quality of the pizzas was no longer very good (compared to at least a year ago); the pizzas couldn't be cut properly (they use unsuitable and/or impractical knives), they hadn't risen well, and one even had an almost completely burnt/charred bottom!!

07/03/2026: The first courses were good, especially the seafood carbonara (off the menu), which was very good. I recommend it, as well as the mussels in tomato sauce. They have a good vegan option; we had the tortelli dell'ammiraglio, which were very good.

04/11/2025: Not bad, but there's plenty of room for improvement. At 9:30, only frozen croissants. The cappuccino is forgettable: piping hot, with a hint of coffee and a predominantly milky flavor. A short barista course wouldn't hurt. Cappuccino: €1.80, pasta €1.50.

14/03/2026: We went without a reservation since it was a weekday, and the tables were too close together, making it difficult to find a comfortable seat. The menu is only available online.
The service was very efficient. It's a shame about the post-dinner wait times: even though the place wasn't at all busy, the staff constantly circled around us to try to get us to leave as soon as we finished eating. It's a shame, because it really affects the atmosphere. If you're looking for a relaxed dinner, this might not be the right place.
The pizza was a bit chewy, perhaps due to under-ripened dough or overly strong flour, and the crust wasn't very airy. Parking was easy to find.
26/02/2026: Neapolitan pizzeria. Typical dishes from the Campania region, from appetizers to desserts, everything is delicious.
The gnocchi alla sorrentina are out of this world.
The staff is courteous and knowledgeable.
An important detail to note, and not to be underestimated, is that in winter you won't suffer from the cold. The atmosphere is welcoming and heated, unlike most places where there's a risk of crowding.
I recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment.

10/03/2026: It's always a wonderful experience dining here. All the dishes bear the distinct signature of the charming and histrionic Carloforte chef Luigi Pomata. The route he offers during the tuna race season is spectacular. Prices are reasonable for the service and food quality.
15/02/2026: Valentine's Day, with my girlfriend:
This is the fifth time I've been to Pomata in a few months, but I'm still treated like a complete stranger.
The waitress comes to our table after a long wait and sets it rather brusquely. Afterwards, while she jokes with the people at the table next to her, carefully explaining the dishes, as is customary in high-end restaurants, she almost throws our plates on the table, whispering, "tuna..." (it was a tuna fillet, with foie gras and cream, and eggplant mousse) and walks away... On another occasion, she's quite icy and finally gives my girlfriend a dirty look.
I decide it's too much, and without saying anything to her, I get up, go to the cashier, and ask if she'd kindly have another waiter attend us for the rest of the dinner. The cashier, without even asking why, immediately takes their employee's side, saying, "Are you kidding? She's been with us for years... She's great!" I ask her if it's normal for a very good waitress to rudely place a dish on the table and leave without a smile or a description of what she's serving... something that happens in upscale restaurants and that I see happening at other tables. I ask her how I should rate their restaurant and repeat that I don't want another waitress to come to our table who, for no apparent reason, gives us dirty looks. While the cashier continues to say it's impossible and doesn't believe it, I return to the table.
Pomata arrives and asks us if everything is okay? I say no, and when he asks for an explanation (not wanting to burden my girlfriend's evening), I invite him to have his assistant at the cash register explain it to him, to whom I'd already told everything.
For dessert, a very friendly waiter finally arrives to serve us, who not only describes the dish but does so in a very engaging way.
At the end of the evening, we go to the cashier, and neither Pomata nor the cashier, despite being present, offer any further information about our evening, much less apologize for their employee's rudeness.
We leave, and while I'm thinking I'll hardly ever return, we meet the friendly waiter outside smoking, the only positive note of the evening, besides, of course, my beautiful companion.
I think that food aside, in a place where expectations should be much higher, it would be enough to have a different view of customers, so as not to lose them...

17/11/2025: Excellent pastries for breakfast. It's a shame the service isn't fast (counter service), and one person can't serve 5-6 tables at once. The opening hours are too late (7:30). The two aforementioned issues combined mean it's not my go-to place for breakfast during the week, but rather on Saturdays when I have 20-30 minutes to spare.

08/10/2025: An experience that goes beyond the excellent cuisine, which is excellent, plentiful, and more than reasonably priced. The welcome, the atmosphere, the presentation of the fish tourism project, the typical Stintino cuisine caught by Captain Agostino and cooked by Gavina's expert hands. The menu changes daily, seasonally, and based on the catch of the day. Not only does the familiar atmosphere make you feel at home, but Agostino and Gavina are also able to tell you everything about the culture and history of Stintino and the surrounding area. They are both rich in culture and experiences to share, as well as kindhearted. I should add that they also took the time to accommodate my pregnant partner. It was the best dinner of the trip for us; don't miss this gem in Stintino.

27/02/2026: For the past three years, we've spent three weeks each year on our Sardinia tour – and every year we've returned to this restaurant in Urzulei, nestled in the mountains. It feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, deep in the mountains, and that's precisely what makes it so special. An absolute dream. Here, good, honest cuisine is still paramount.
This family-run business, managed by the owner's mother, radiates so much warmth. You can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with passion and tradition. Everything is fresh, authentic, and prepared with incredible love. In three years of Sardinia, we haven't eaten as well anywhere else. It's always a highlight of our trip and has become a fixed part of our itinerary. If you're looking for genuine Sardinian cuisine, warmth, and quality, this is the place to be. For us, it's one of the best places on the entire island. We'll be back. 🥰❤️

19/10/2025: A very good restaurant, serving traditional Sardinian dishes prepared with care and using quality ingredients. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is friendly. Just one note: the porceddu (roasted pork) at lunch must be booked in advance, otherwise it's unavailable. Recommended for those who want to enjoy traditional Sardinian cuisine!
18/10/2025: A lovely restaurant run by two German women. A great atmosphere nestled among the fields. For a nice table, it's advisable to make a reservation in advance (we only discovered this first), as despite the relatively remote location, quite a few guests arrive over the course of the evening. A diverse selection of dishes, including many local specialties, is delicious. Unfortunately, the side potatoes were only lukewarm when they were brought out. Overall, a highly recommended evening!
