The Panzerotti were delicious! They were fresh from the oven, the dough and filling were perfect. The prices are very reasonable, you should definitely try them! We also tried other equally delicious specialties!

A tiny takeout panzerotti and focaccia shop located on a side street near the historic center. The quality and selection of panzerotti are excellent. The prices are low considering the quality and fillings. The owner is helpful and courteous. The only downside is that the place doesn't have a dining area for eating in. RECOMMENDED.

I've been going to "Dottor Panzerotto" for years, and it's always a great choice: fragrant focaccia, quality ingredients, and friendly staff. Perfect for a quick but tasty break. Highly recommended!

12/05/2026: Delicious pizza: light dough, highly digestible flour, perfectly cooked, fresh and flavorful mozzarella, and a decent amount of toppings. The pizza prices are very fair, perhaps among the lowest I've ever seen in Taranto. Recommended!

Il Palio di Taranto

10/09/2025: A wonderful place, and the staff made the evening unforgettable! We were a group of over 15 people, and the view, the drinks, and the attention did the rest :) All the girls have wonderful memories of Taranto, thanks in part to the Palio. Thanks again!
31/08/2025: We went for an after-dinner drink in one of Taranto's best locations. The view, next to the Aragonese Castle, is truly breathtaking. The staff welcomed us professionally and escorted us to our table. We ordered two amari and enjoyed the moonlight reflected on the sea.
