06/05/2025: I am writing in response to Mrs. Barbara's review and I inform you that everything she has made public is absolutely not true because the rooms were delivered clean and tidy in every way, only that chatter and gossip are often invented to achieve objectives such as discounts and so on. So respect those who have always worked seriously and for over 25 years

24/06/2025: Average food, except for a waitress with black hair and a ponytail who laughs in front of me for I don't know what reason... honestly as a customer I wanted to tell him what he had to laugh at in my face under my nose, girl you are still young and if you want to work learn not to laugh and make fun of your customers while you serve them, if you want to work learn to be professional because I PAY you to eat well and have at least decent service and not be made fun of in my face.... If you hoped I wouldn't notice you were wrong.

04/09/2025: We only stopped for a shaken coffee, but it was the best we've ever had. The menu, however, looks interesting, with raw seafood and a good wine list.

27/08/2025: On vacation in Rodi Garganico, we dined at this restaurant last night. "Dinner" is a manner of speaking, because it was quite an adventure: two diners received their appetizer (wrong according to the order), their main course, and then the first course at the same time. The raw fish appetizer was served, but it's a shame no one had a plate. The sparkling water arrived hot and in plastic bottles. But the highlight was the "tagliata arugula e parmesan." A steak (the owner called it an entrecôte) arrived, missing the arugula and parmesan, but... no worries, they arrived at our request... separately on a fruit plate. The staff were very helpful, but you don't ask a customer to open their own bottle of wine... (warm). But it was the owner's attitude that was so disturbing; he was keen to point out that he's been doing this job for years... Hmm.

31/08/2025: After an hour and a half wait, they brought us drinks and a tub of chips we hadn't ordered, claiming the place was too crowded (about 10 people in total). After another 20-minute wait, they brought the two lactose-free appetizers we'd ordered, which unfortunately weren't lactose-free, ruining the rest of our day.

14/07/2025: I spent a truly pleasant weekend at this hotel in Vico del Gargano: despite the decor being a bit 1980s-inspired, the overall feel is very pleasant and well-maintained. The property offers all the essential amenities, from a swimming pool to efficient Wi-Fi in public areas. The rooms are clean, spacious, and air-conditioned, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the Gargano. Breakfast is a bit sparse, but still basic. The location is excellent, convenient for both visiting the historic center of Vico del Gargano and reaching the sea.

24/02/2025: I purchased some zeppole at a cost of 3 euros each, as I have been a renowned pastry shop for several years now, thinking I could make a good impression on the guests. In my opinion, the cost was too high for the quality, all diners found them to be too oily and heavy, not very fragrant (soggy and perhaps a little moist and raw inside) and with a quality that was not at the top compared to expectations.

02/09/2025: I had booked an 8-day full-board stay. Unfortunately, due to my wife's health, I had to cancel after two days. I left at night, informing the concierge of my early departure. I should point out that I paid for everything upon arrival. My main disappointment was not receiving a call from management. However, even though I only stayed two days, I can't say I was satisfied. I wasn't satisfied with the restaurant at all. Poor quality and limited choice of side dishes, no fruit or desserts. The beach was also very neglected. On the plus side, the room was very spacious and beautiful because it was newly built, although the bathroom lacked all the amenities. The reception was also very kind and helpful.

01/09/2025: I spent 15 days at this property with my family. I always interacted with Michele Rosa, a very kind and helpful person, always ready to answer any questions. The staff is always smiling and kind. Perfect location for those who want to go to the beach. There's not much nearby; you'll need a car to visit the nearby towns. My dogs were always pampered, and even at the beach they were almost like mascots! The only downside was the hotel meals...nothing like the restaurant across the street, which was also on the property. Excellent food and delicious pizza! Newly renovated rooms with spacious rooms and beautiful furnishings!

28/06/2025: I stayed at this hotel for a few days and I can say with certainty that the real strength of the structure is its extraordinary staff. From the moment of check-in, we were greeted with a sincere smile and rare helpfulness. Every member of the staff, from the reception to the chambermaids, was kind, professional and attentive to every detail. A special thanks goes to Danila, Fabio, Mara and Floriana of the staff, who were able to make our stay even more pleasant with precious advice on the area and impeccable assistance. In a world where service often seems impersonal, here I found authentic care for the customer. The rooms were also impeccable: very clean, tidy and cared for in the smallest details, an aspect that I really appreciated. Everything was perfectly functional and comfortable. For the quality of the experience offered, I can say that the price is absolutely fair and the quality-price ratio excellent. The structure is beautiful and well-kept, but it is thanks to the people who work there that this hotel stands out: they make you feel truly welcome and pampered, like at home. We will definitely be back – and I will recommend it to anyone looking for not only comfort, but also true hospitality.

04/06/2025: Bad quality at a high price. It's a shame that in a positive context like country, landscape and good food there can still be places like this. A unique and slow sauce in which they throw first and second courses with the same insipid taste. Nothing good in the kitchen. A lamb ragù without ragù and with a lamb chop thrown for two minutes in the above sauce. And a roulade with the same treatment. Price of a serious restaurant. Zero value. Oh.. and the peppers that were supposed to be roasted were poured onto the plate directly from the pickle jar. And corrected with oil. A filthy puddle..

03/05/2025: Clean place.. very simple.. close to the Castle and next to the car park.. good food but not great.. simple cuisine... and not very elaborate.. Possibility to choose the tourist menu (with a reduced list of dishes) or order different courses from the menu. Polite staff but not particularly attentive to customers and decidedly unsmiling. Service and staff with plenty of room for improvement. Mediocre value for money...

16/07/2025: We were attracted by the location and the presentation of the restaurant, but unfortunately the overall experience fell far short of expectations, both in terms of quality and quantity. And, even more seriously, it didn't match the final bill of €103. 🍝 Cuisine: between small portions and poorly balanced flavors The orecchiette with eggplant puree was inexplicably bitter, so much so that it was unpleasant to the palate. A poorly balanced dish, difficult to finish. The "shrimp and burrata" appetizer consisted of six tiny shrimp (we counted them) and a barely visible burrata, so much so that it seemed to be there only to "dirty" the plate. The so-called "gran frittura di paranza dell'Adriatico" (literally "great fried Adriatic fish") turned out to be a mix of obviously frozen calamari and shrimp, with a few anchovies and fresh red mullet to counterbalance the overall effect. The spaghetti with clams were meagerly portioned (no more than 80g of pasta), with the clams literally counted one by one. No seafood aroma, no emotion. 🍨 Bar-style dessert, served carelessly The only dessert ordered, a Sammontana white truffle, was served frozen and without any presentation, straight from the refrigerator of the adjacent bar. No additions, no detail. 💬 Service and atmosphere The staff was polite but cold, and the ambiance—though pleasant from the outside—didn't make up for the overall impression of neglect in the food offerings. 💸 Value for money: completely unbalanced Spending €103 for such a poor meal, where we couldn't even find a truly satisfying dish, leaves us with an overall feeling of dissatisfaction and bitterness. Not recommended location...

11/07/2025: Exceptional location. Dinner offers a breathtaking sunset. The food is average, nothing exceptional. The service is poor. The waitress knew the people at the next table and let slip a couple of swear words. She spilled the wine and a cork ended up in the glass... she replaced our glass :-(
