04/01/2026: We went to New Year's Eve dinner. A total disappointment. First of all, we froze. The air conditioning where we were sitting wasn't working, the French window was broken, and the cold was coming in from outside. They tried to cover the holes with tablecloths to keep all that cold out. They even told us a technician was due to come and fix the air conditioning (at 9 pm). Shouldn't we have checked a little earlier? The waiters were excellent, and so were the singers. The food was nothing special. It's a shame it's in such a wonderful location!

30/12/2025: The mixed land and sea appetizers were a negative review and were overpriced at €28 for two, with six small, tasteless dishes. The first course was Tubettini with mussels, which were very good; pasta and potatoes, on the other hand, were a negative review.

The presentation was also spectacular: elegant, meticulously crafted, with a decoration that seemed to have been lifted from a fine pastry magazine. 08/03/2026: Based on my experience, I highly recommend this restaurant. We got a spot on the rooftop with a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside and the city. The service was perfect: attentive, courteous, quick, and extremely friendly (communication was in Italian or English). The food was outstanding; the tuna steak and roasted octopus were a true delight. The red wine was sensational, not to mention the homemade tiramisu 🤩... you made my day 💯

23/02/2026: Definitely the best restaurant I stumbled upon during my three-week road trip through Puglia. The service was discreet and efficient, the advice on choosing a local wine was perfect, and the traditional cuisine was delicious. A flawless experience at Taverna dei Domicani.

18/02/2026: Every year I go to Ceglie for about 10 days. For me, Taverna di Domenicani is the best place to enjoy authentic, quality Apulian cuisine. The ingredients are of the highest quality and always fresh. The catch is the catch of the day. The owner is a wonderful person and truly professional. The service is precise, attentive, and meticulous. The location is central, beneath Piazza del Plebiscito, the heart of Ceglie. It's easily accessible on foot. The restaurant is elegant and suitable for a romantic dinner or a dinner with friends. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful. For us, it's our regular meeting place in Ceglie.

08/10/2025: The renovated castle is truly beautiful, with attention to detail and helpful staff. We stayed just one night on half-board. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The hot tub was superb.

08/03/2026: It doesn't seem fair to me that I have to wait 1 hour and 10 minutes (timed) for a sandwich. I could only overlook it if it were a restaurant, but it's unacceptable for a pub when out of 8 people, only three of us ordered (we had a sandwich, everyone else had appetizers). Besides this incident that happened two weeks ago (among other things, we had bothered the poor waiters several times asking), they always take about 35 minutes. And I'm not just saying this, but I've been going there occasionally since I was 15 (celebrating my birthday there) and now I'm 20.

07/03/2026: The only historic pub in the city that still manages to excite all generations with its sandwiches and dishes. Great for watching sports. Highly recommended.
