06/04/2026: A pearl of authenticity in the heart of Ceglie Messapica If you're looking for the essence of Puglia, Sapori e Tradizioni restaurant is a must-see. Located in the heart of the historic center of Ceglie Messapica, a village seemingly suspended in time, the restaurant welcomes you to an extremely characteristic and welcoming setting, perfectly in tune with the whitewashed streets and the magical atmosphere that surrounds it. The highlight is undoubtedly the food. We enjoyed expertly prepared local dishes: fresh ingredients and flavors that evoke the truest tradition. Every bite is a tribute to the region, and the passion they put into showcasing Ceglie's traditional recipes is evident. The food is excellent, with no complaints about the quality. However, since we were there on Easter Sunday, there were a few small flaws worth mentioning for the sake of complete honesty: The Menu: Despite the deliciousness of the dishes, I would have expected a more "celebratory" touch, something that would further elevate the offerings given the special occasion. Space Management: The sore point of the day was the seating arrangement. They crowded us in very close to other guests' tables, which took away some of the warmth and intimacy the venue usually promises. I understand the desire to accommodate everyone, but the comfort suffered. Despite these small inconveniences, likely related to the large holiday crowds, I absolutely recommend Sapori e Tradizioni. It's the ideal place for those who want to lose themselves in the alleys of an enchanting historic center and end their stroll with the authentic flavors of yesteryear. I will definitely return, perhaps at a less crowded time to fully enjoy the beauty of the location!

That greenery conveys an incredible peace, and the healthy, authentic food made me decide to celebrate my 40th birthday there... it was beautiful, my guests were satisfied and entertained, and the staff was present but discreet. 04/12/2025: Last November 22nd, I celebrated my 60th birthday at this wonderful establishment. I fully applaud the professionalism, expertise, and helpfulness of the entire staff, led by Angelo, the head waiter, and Mr. Maurizio, the manager, who ensured everything ran flawlessly without a single discrepancy or gap. The dining room was impeccably prepared and perfect down to the smallest detail, the cuisine was refined and of the highest quality, and the atmosphere was family-like. I highly recommend it. Well done and congratulations to everyone.

31/01/2026: The wine we chose was good and lived up to expectations, but unfortunately, the overall experience was marred by unclear and disorganized management. We weren't given any explanations about the evening's format: no indication of quantities, courses, timing, or cost. The idea was to enjoy a good glass of wine, but instead we found ourselves with half an open bottle at the table, not knowing what to expect. During the first hour, only a few tastings arrived (four small bruschettas, olives, and taralli), then nothing else for over an hour. When it came time to pay, we discovered that the main courses intended for our table were already prepared but were never served due to an organizational decision by the venue. Paying €48 for two without actually having dined leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, and it's a shame because with more transparent communication and more attentive service, the fine wine would have been much better showcased.

24/09/2025: An absolute vibe! Hidden gem! Nicolas and Fabio & the Bosco Verde team staff are so kind and relaxed. Great facilities— jungle-like outdoor shower, clean, and a shaded parking area. The beach and water itself is absolutely stunning, plus the music playlist is on point.

Much-appreciated new additions to the menu, both meat and seafood, professionalism and extensive experience in every dish. Courtesy and hospitality make you feel at home; the Giubilo family remains a guarantee of authentic Apulian cuisine and a reference point for those seeking traditional flavors.

07/04/2026: Easter Monday lunch spent with friends at this restaurant and wine bar in the center of Cisternino. Located just outside the more touristy historic center, the restaurant is well-maintained, with a relaxing atmosphere and welcoming, helpful staff. Dishes are well-crafted and unique, made with quality ingredients. All accompanied by good wine, with knowledgeable staff helping you choose. The menu was à la carte. We ordered a few appetizers, three very good first courses (ravioli stuffed with lamb, Taleggio cheese fondue, and truffle shavings; spaghetti with anchovies and oranges; and strascinate with rabbit ragù, bacon, and cardoncelli mushrooms). We then moved on to the second courses: a beef stew to share and three tender, distinctively flavored, slow-cooked pork fillets. We finished with a dessert not included in the menu: a pear frangipane with chocolate ice cream. Around €75 per person. Medium-high priced, but worth it. If you happen to be in the area, give it a try.
