04/05/2025: TOP Vegan ice creams! Pistachios, trifle, stracciatella, there's everything for vegans including horn😇green apple, lemon, trifle, all vegan pistachio ice cream! Really happy that I could taste all the vegan gelato that I never had before😇😋🥳They open almost all day, so the next morning we came back then had centrifuged and for non vegan hubby had cappuccino and pasticciotto with pistachio cream and cream, very satisfied🥰

03/01/2025: Excellent structure, a small niche located in the historic center of Cisternino, only for true connoisseurs and true expert researchers. Small shop, as if it were a small butcher's shop, offering a take-away or self-service service for meat and some small side dishes. The place has a small entrance with the meat counter to choose from, and then a separate room with three tables where you can taste the dishes you ordered. I must say that in my opinion there should be a slightly wider choice regarding the type of bowlers, but let's say that they also have rolls and sausage. The choice is possible to have the meat on the plate or with the sandwich and the baked potatoes in foil are delicious. Very kind staff, really very affectionate and caring lady, always smiling. Remember to clean the tables once you leave! Definitely coming back.

28/05/2025: Abbiamo cenato in due, locale tradizionale, servizio poco gioviale, arrosto di carne nella norma. Forti dubbi sul conto: manca lo scontrino della pesata della carne e su un totale di 50 euro di scontrino …. il costo per due dolci era di 19 euro…. mi sembra chiaramente esagerato!!!!

02/05/2025: Da tanti anni andiamo da Baba e non c’è pietanza che non ci ha soddisfatto! La pizza è super ma anche i panini sono davvero buoni e soprattutto ampia scelta di birre. Fantastico l’estate con i tavoli all’esterno in piazzetta. Consigliato per una cena tra amici. Continuate così ragazzi!!!

Characteristic dishes of the cuisine, so-called popular, parmigiana, lasagna and all-you-can-eat meat, turcinieddi, sausage of all types, various bombette, sliced ​​scottona, whole baked potatoes opened and seasoned with oil, salt and pepper. And finally sweets, bitters and coffee. Everything was excellent and perfect, even the bill!!!

09/05/2025: I don’t know if the owner changed or something but we did not have a good experience here. Our pizza was overloaded with cheese and not enjoyable. We also asked to get some of the things that we saw on the pictures here in Google Maps and they did not have either of them. Strange.

08/05/2025: We took 3 seafood and 2 land first courses, excellent fish, even the cooking. Fair prices and very friendly staff. Finally they also offered us some biscuits. Highly recommended.

The quality is always consistent — perfectly smashed, crispy-edged burgers with incredible flavor every single time. Antonio is a true talent. His passion for what he does shows in every detail, from the food to the service. He’s always welcoming, and the experience he delivers makes Japigiano feel like more than just a burger joint — it’s a place you genuinely look forward to returning to. Easily the best smash burger in town. Highly recommended!

11/02/2025: On the advice of a friend, I tried the smashed burger. I don't think I've ever eaten such a poorly prepared hamburger. Tasteless and very low quality meat. I don't comment on the prices, I find them out of the market based on the service and the product offered. In conclusion, NEVER AGAIN.

05/05/2025: Pranzo informale dove abbiamo apprezzato la bontà della carne. Superlativa la bistecca di scottona (peccato che sia arrivata un pò tiepida) e la zampina....buone le bombette. Cortesia del personale. Prezzi giusti. da ritornarci.
