The service is generally good, but having friends order ahead of the owner can be annoying. In our case, we had to wait 40 minutes for a coffee because a table right next to ours passed us simply because they were friends of the owner.

Entering a restaurant in the historic center, you'd expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere, but instead you find yourself in a place with no heating at all, no background music, a barking dog in the owners' restaurant, and a crowd of unsavory people using illicit substances right outside. I ordered a house appetizer, which is usually homemade, but as is often the case, it was a flavorless, low-quality frozen product. Not to mention the first course, which was trulli with basil pesto, dried tomatoes, and burrata. When it arrived, it was soaked in a sea of ​​basil oil, and it felt like pasta with olive oil. I don't mean to sound squeamish, but you can't serve dishes like that and leave them untouched without receiving feedback from the owner who was waiting the tables about the various remaining dishes. And as if that weren't enough, there was no coffee, sweet or bitter, to serve to your customers. Places like this should be on the tourist radar, as our baroque city of Lecce is. Entrepreneurs who think they have the skills to launch themselves into the restaurant world are a disgrace to the people who visit you.

P.S. If you want to take a walk in the woods, Bosco Quarto is nearby, suitable for everyone, and Laghetto d'Umbra is a little further away.

23/01/2026: Even though we're from the area, we'd never been there before, and we finally had the opportunity to go for lunch on April 25, 2025. We were very surprised by the attention to detail, the vast spaces surrounded by nature, and the quiet location where you can breathe in the genuine air. There are also rooms and a swimming pool if you want to unplug from the chaos of the city. The lunch was very enjoyable, featuring typical local, zero-mile products of their own production... everything excellent. The wait between courses was a bit long, but since it was a holiday and the restaurant was packed, it was more than justified. Congratulations 🤗

18/03/2026: We went there for an evening pizza...personally, we didn't like the pizza: it's not typical Neapolitan pizza, but the sides are too thick, the center is too thick, and there's very little toppings. Too expensive for my taste. They don't even subtract the ingredients that aren't included. Excellent service.

19/01/2026: We stayed in this wonderful building for a company meeting. Mr. Enzo welcomed us kindly and made us feel at ease right away. The property is immaculately clean and very close to the beautiful port of Trani. Congratulations on everything.

Great style, elegance, cleanliness, and professionalism from Enzo, the manager, and Leo, the impeccable butler (the bathroom is among the best I've ever found in such a venue). Highly recommended for high-end events, just steps from the Trani seafront and in a central location. Weddings, parties, and more are perfect here... they even have an in-house kitchen, so there's no need for outside catering. Definitely worth a try! You can't go wrong!

The flavors are delicate and never overpowering...the pumpkin and swordfish main course was my favorite, and my husband's absolute favorite was the deconstructed tiramisu! I've never had a better dessert!! We'd been away from this experience for too long (he was our wedding chef)...not to mention the location, the private seating, the attentive and always kind staff, and the chef, always on top, leaves nothing for granted with excellent raw materials! ...We can't wait to go back! 😍😋
