20/10/2025: Very nice hotel. Beautiful surroundings. The hotel has a large outdoor pool. Breakfast is good. I recommend it!

18/10/2025: Is it beautiful? Yes. Is it clean? Yes. Is the staff friendly and competent? Yes. BUT the devil is in the details - and being a 4 star hotel is about details. We were on the third floor and the wifi was just terrible. Kept dropping and reconnecting. This is not acceptable in 2025 in a Mercure. Moreover - how is it possible for all the paintings not to hang correctly off the walls? The shower was spacious, with great water pressure - but the glass pane has water traces that are not wiped off daily. The breakfast buffet has a great selection... But the cornetti offered were pitiful and the cappuccinos we were served were very poor given the fact this is an Italian hotel. Conclusion: If you want a nice, clean, restful place to sleep in in a beautiful setting, the Mercure is for you. But they need to work on getting everything right, and not just the big picture.

29/09/2025: I've been there several times for lunch and it's always been excellent, with delicious dishes and exceptional raw seafood! Excellent food from appetizer to dessert.

12/10/2025: Excellent, high-quality products, but the staff puts you off going... you order a pizza, pay a deposit, go at the scheduled time, but it's not ready. You wait, but in the end, the pizza isn't what you ordered, and the clerk replies, "But I wasn't there that evening," but this response doesn't mean anything. Watch out for the staff.

22/10/2025: On cold dark rainy evening when a lot of places were closed, we spoke to Alessandro in the street asking about open restaurants. So of course he took us to his, which turned out to be a good move. he and Anna took great care of us - fed us well, we had the mixed taster for two which was really good. They were fun and very generous with a few extras - throughly recommended

05/10/2025: We were genuinely disappointed. When we called to make a reservation, no one informed us that the restaurant only offers a fixed meat menu. We would have appreciated knowing this in advance, especially since I really wanted a tagliata, but unfortunately, it wasn't possible to order one. The portions were truly exaggerated: each table received enormous trays of meat, to the point that most of it ended up wasted. Furthermore, there was only white meat, no red meat. When it came to dessert, another disappointment: no real dessert, just taralli served with a rather unpleasant bitterness. I asked if it was possible to have a second batch of biscuits, but was told they couldn't, "out of respect for the other guests." The drinks also left much to be desired: the Coca-Cola wasn't original. Overall, a disappointing experience, one we definitely won't repeat.

05/10/2025: Pretty neat ristorante offering plenty of seafood options. Everything we had was very good, I can only recommend this place. Professional waiters, tables perfectly laid with tablecloths, a nice atmosphere and good food, you should give it a try if you're in Santa Maria al Bagno, especially if you are a seafood enthusiast!

03/10/2025: If the fresh orecchiette still tastes half-raw and doughy, and the server repeatedly asks and apologizes, you'd expect the dish to be left out of the bill, or only at a reduced price, or to be offered a free espresso. But everything was billed at full price. What a shame! Otherwise, everything was fine.

04/10/2025: Honestly, one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a pizzeria. The pizza was absolutely average, lacking flavor or personality, nothing special, in fact, almost bland. The prices, however, were completely disproportionate to the quality. The wait times were unacceptable: the fries arrived almost 50 minutes after the pizza, by which time they no longer made any sense. The staff, unfortunately, proved to be unprofessional and anything but courteous. The icing on the cake: the dirty bathrooms, in conditions that shouldn't exist in a public place. In conclusion, an experience to forget. With all the competition, I strongly advise against wasting your time and money here.

21/05/2025: A fantastic place to spend a wonderful evening in company and in a pleasant environment. 7 years in which this place never disappoints. With quality and local products, extraordinary attention to the dishes served and the cuts of meat. Excellent and above all fast service (even though we went on a Saturday, we were served immediately and the waiters were always available for everything) and a super kind owner. A place that never misses a beat, always frequented and that I will continue to frequent to spend a few hours of carefree and good food. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)

12/10/2025: Mediocre cuisine. We noticed that if you choose the €35 fixed menu, everything is very limited in terms of dishes. Plus, there were 10 appetizer courses on the menu, but we only received 7. The first courses were very poor, with only a small amount of pasta.... Second courses were mediocre, and apart from the fruit and dessert, they choose both the desserts they bring you and the fruit with a small skewer with 3 small pieces of fruit..... in short, the €35 menu is not worth what they give you...

15/09/2025: We stopped by chance. The staff were very welcoming. The menu was adequate, not complex, and the dishes were simple. The dishes were traditional and modern, delicious, and beautiful to look at. My husband and I were very satisfied. A wide selection of local wines. The atmosphere was small but unique and welcoming. We will definitely return to try more. Thank you.

18/07/2025: We were there for work, and were welcomed as if we were their grandchildren. The owners, Filippo and Rosaria, are two genuine, hard-working people who do everything they can to make their guests feel welcome and cared for, as do their daughters who help them, who are also tireless. After 15 days, we were sad to leave them; we felt at home. We returned two years later, again for work. The place has been completely renovated, but fortunately the spirit hasn't. I will return as soon as possible, and we will continue to return. Thank you again for everything you have done and continue to do. If you pass through Roseto, you can't miss this place. The cuisine is simple, but very good, and they are always attentive to the customer's needs. A big hug to the whole family. Fabrizio "Loren" 😁

11/10/2025: Fantastic location. Everything was perfect. Perfect food. I would have given it 5 stars. I'm only giving it 4 because I was served a first course with plain shrimp, not blue shrimp as described on the menu. It should be noted that this is a dish we eat often and are well known for. When we mentioned this to the waiter, he told us he would ask the kitchen. Unfortunately, since we couldn't argue with what he said, we were told that the chef told him it was still blue shrimp, but only 2/3 of the variety. I repeat, they were plain cocktail shrimp. It's a shame they were missing both. Highly recommended, though.
