07/04/2025: We moved to the San Paolo district a little over a year ago and while trying the various pastry shops, we found this one, we immediately tried the croissants and other breakfast desserts, all good and above all fresh, then we tried the sweets and what can I say, delicious and assorted and today the TOP was the birthday cake for my son Nicola, a new flavour, very delicious and super delicious

05/04/2025: On Saturday 29 March, 16 of us, 8 adults and 8 children aged 17-18, go to this restaurant, fish speciality! We order 1 first course each, a round of hot appetizers, all fish-based, much appreciated. Then we adults decide to take two large plates of raw fish (mussels, oysters, prawns, etc etc) which we devour with enormous pleasure... and we also share part of it with the 8 kids.... 24 hours later, back home, all of us, I repeat ALL 16 of us, are sick with vomiting and dysentery, so much so that we can't work or go to school for 2 days... stuff that almost makes us go to the emergency room... which would have triggered a complaint for intoxication.... Maybe that raw fish wasn't so fresh? So...BEWARE of raw fish and going to this restaurant!

06/09/2024: The small castle has been somewhat distorted with overly invasive restorations in the 1980s. The completely redone flooring and the important plasters have altered the beauty of this historic place. However, I believe that subsequent attempts were made to conserve and maintain what appears to be a beautiful monument of this small community. Particular praise goes to the Proloco di Andrano and to the guide who offered the visit and demonstrated absolute competence and passion in their work.

24/03/2025: La ristorazione non fa per voi. Di passaggio a polignano a mare, indotto dalle recensioni positive, sono entrato nel locale. Ospitalità 0. Tavolo da punizione delle elementari: attaccato tra il muro ed il frigorifero delle bevande nonostante la sala vuota. All’accensione del frigorifero chiedo al cameriere di poter cambiare tavolo e lui con arroganza e sufficienza mi ha concesso tale “privilegio”. Che dire, la ristorazione non è per tutti e voi invitate i clienti ad uscire.

03/01/2025: Locale piccolo ma molto accogliente e familiare. Siamo ritornati dopo essere già stati quest'estate durante la nostra vacanza in San Vito e abbiamo riscontrato che, non a caso, la denominazione della pizzeria corrisponde alla bravura del pizzaiolo, che - con vera maestria - ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative anche dopo aver richiesto il bis. Una vera bontà anche le polpette di carne e le patatine, che hanno stupito i nostri sensi già prima di mangiare le pizze, la cui scelta è stata veramente sofferta per la vastissima varietà a prezzi assolutamente contenuti. Gentilezza, disponibilità e pulizia fanno da contorno al servizio offerto . Ve lo consigliamo davvero!!!!

20/12/2024: Ci ritorno dopo un po' di tempo. Chissà, forse avevo sopravvalutato la bravura di Gianni e la cortesia di Cinzia. Mi impongo di non farmi condizionare dal ricordo della precedente esperienza. Impietoso, osservo le pizze, ne inspiro i profumi, mi spingo oltre. E oltre, molto oltre, va la bontà della meravigliosa piadina (tecnicamente base) che Gianni mi propone, preparata con una sapienza e maestria che da queste parti è davvero merce rara. Cosa dire? Immaginate che Gianni sua giunto a questi traguardi ormai prossimo alla pensione? Ehm... Signori, qui la Pizza ha la P maiuscola e se non si è in grado di distinguere una stesura a regola d'arte da un "pacco", prego astenersi. Ancora, chapeau!!!

Pizza and paposcia are of excellent quality with particular attention to the raw material and tradition given that this food has been present in the area since it received the Deco. The economic treatment is also excellent. Congratulations for everything and keep it up.

20/09/2024: Nonostante non ami lo zucchero, una certa fame ed un gran desiderio di gelato mi han fatto scegliere, oggi, - qui - lo spumone "spumonsoia", uno spumone di particolare concezione (ad esempio, con poco destrosio), per me nella versione nocciola e cacao), che ho poi trovato BUONISSIMO! Ne ho conservato una metà in freezer, per un secondo momento di massima gradevolezza.

12/10/2024: Very scenic restaurant, especially the outdoor room and in summer it is truly fantastic. We came to this restaurant attracted by the positive reviews, especially from locals. We ate well, but we expected something more. There are very few mixed raw seafood options and perhaps this is where we expected more: average flavor, not exceptional. The frying on the other hand was really delicious, masterfully fried!

17/09/2024: I found myself in this restaurant by chance, and I was truly pleasantly surprised, both by the location and by the service and quality of the food, very fresh, well represented aesthetically. Very friendly and courteous staff, we will definitely return.
