31/08/2025: We went to Romana Bistrot to celebrate my father's birthday. A disappointing experience from start to finish. Of the appetizers and four courses, only the frittatina and the cod purée stood out: everything else was tasteless, bland, and characterless. The "saltimbocca alla romana" was anything but Roman, with an unpleasant aftertaste and odor. The service was "polite," but in reality, it left much to be desired: even a chair—which was only used to put down a bag—was a pointless fuss. The wine we chose, a sparkling rosé, was acidic; only when the glass was almost empty was the suggestion to change it. A belated and therefore unnecessary attention. It's unfortunate to say, but the overall quality is far below expectations. We won't be returning, and I don't recommend it.

21/08/2025: We ordered a puccia and a pizza to go. The ingredients were excellent and the prices were reasonable, though not always the same for the perfect quality of the ingredients. This place is definitely recommended, especially if you're a tourist and want to feel truly at home. We were greeted with smiles and had a pleasant chat with the pizza chef, who, in addition to preparing excellent products, also offered us some truly delicious samples. This is definitely a place to return to.

10/08/2025: Everything was perfect: the location, the background music, the service, the exceptional food. Great value. Three appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, two desserts, water, and bitter coffee, for €130. An experience worth trying.

25/07/2025: Cute pizzeria with good location in Foggia. I loved the cozy street where you can sit outside. The pizza was ready quickly, it was very tasty, perfect texture (it’s not Neapolitan, nor Romana, somewhere between, I’d call Barese). The owners were really kind, making sure of the great service and atmosphere.

07/09/2025: It was our first evening in Barletta and we chose to dine here: it was a truly memorable experience. Even though we were seated inside with our dog, we were greeted with great kindness and friendliness by the entire staff. Over the next few days, we tried other restaurants, both in Barletta and in other cities in Puglia, but nothing was up to par. We even returned for dinner again, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to a bereavement (our sincere condolences). I still wanted to write this review to let you know that you are truly amazing; keep up the good work!

06/09/2025: We went for lunch on a Saturday, and the restaurant was fully booked. Reservations are recommended. The quality/price ratio was good, and the portions were a pleasant surprise. I would have served the raw ham a little colder, perhaps adding a bit of ice, and the peppered ham was a little too salty, but we liked it that way. In short, 1 raw seafood dish + 1 peppered ham + 1 fantastic sea urchin dish + 2 seafood first courses + 1 fried fish dish, and a bottle of wine with sorbet and coffee came to €60 per person. A very fair price, in line with the quality and quantity of the dishes. WELL DONE!

23/07/2025: Locale grazioso e cibo buono anche se senza punti di eccellenza. Note negative il fatto che il cameriere ha ordinato i secondi senza consultarci ed il conto è stato , sia pur di non molto, superiore a quanto sarebbe stato giusto per ciò che abbiamo mangiato.

11/07/2025: Il ristorante Sciaia a Mare deve gran parte del suo successo allo chef Carlo, la cui maestria in cucina si riflette in ogni piatto. La qualità degli ingredienti e l’attenzione ai dettagli rendono ogni portata, sia di pesce che di carne, un’esperienza eccellente. Carlo è un vero artista gastronomico, capace di coniugare tradizione e innovazione con grande equilibrio. Il personale cortese e professionale completa l’esperienza in un locale spazioso, pulito e accogliente. A tutti gli effetti, Carlo può essere considerato l’“Antonino Cannavacciuolo di Brindisi”.
