30/03/2025: Sunday lunch, two people. We decided to eat at Masseria Gentile that we already knew, the wait to request the first course was not exactly fast indeed.... After we ordered we waited a long time to have the first course and just as long to receive the second The food was good but nothing exceptional Pasta portions were skimpy compared to the habits of the area. Service to be improved a lot a lot a lot I would say that if I were to return I would think about it.

29/03/2025: Frequento la zona da un po' di anni e ho visitato parecchi ristoranti e devo dire che questo ha soddisfatto pienamente le mie aspettative Cameriere molto professionale e gentile. Cibo ottimo a cominciare dai deliziosi bocconcini di pane pizza, abbiamo poi preso dei frittini decisamente superiori a quelli provati in altri ristoranti della zona e un antipasto solo terra anch'esso molto buono Abbiamo continuato con dell'arrosto misto ed anche qui devo sottolineare la qualità decisamente migliore di quanto provato altrove Da non trascurare l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo Insomma questo ristorante mi ha riconciliato con la cucina dei ristoranti locali Lo consiglio sicuramente

13/04/2025: In 3 weeks traveling from Toscana to Puglia, the best meal we've had. Unfortunately had to catch a bus to the train and we didn't get a chance for dessert and espresso. Service was excellent, and the two of us were the only table of non-locals.

12/04/2025: La pizza sempre molto buona e niente da dire, tra le mie preferite, ma un antipasto che ho preso solo io, in particolare le bombette alla paprika con purè di patate, mi hanno fatto vedere i sorci verdi, tra vomito e diarrea per tutta la notte. Sono stato l’unico a mangiarle al tavolo, peccato perchè avevano un sapore delizioso.

03/02/2025: Great-amazing restaurant! We went for New Years. The New Year's menu was 7 courses or a little more. We enjoyed everything so much that after dinner we could easily eat again. Maybe it was the whole thing, huh! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

30/12/2024: Domenica sera a Trani in inverno, pochi ristoranti aperti, questi pochi sono turistici (mille piatti, menu in plurime lingue, adescatore all'ingresso), quindi la scelta cade su EraOra: locale accogliente, curato, menù con pochi piatti ricercati. Fino a qui le aspettative sono ottime. Il primo piatto ordinato é stato quello più deludente, le friselle erano quelle del supermercato, in puglia si trovano (o di possono cucinare a casa) friselle qualitativamente facilmente, qui ci hanno servito delle piccole due friselle che si trovano anche nei supermercati del Nord. In un locale così ricercato, mi aspetto una frisella più interessante. In entrées grissini, pane e un olio ottimo. I primi: -Troccoli con cozze e muggine: ottimo abbinamento, un po' meno l'esecuzione. Il piatto era salatissimo (ho visto anche altre recensioni che lo dicevano), la cozza era di buona qualità, ma stracotta. Il broccolo mi é sembrato comprato e non fatto nel ristorante, poco legato al condimento. -Ragù di polpo: buono, ma non squisito. -Frittura di calamari: presumibilmente fatta da loro partendo da pesce fresco, buona. Conclusioni: il locale prova ad essere un ristorante di alta cucina: piatti ricercati, porzioni piccole, prezzi alti, staff molto a modo, ma offre piatti qualitativamente imperfetti, che ti aspetti in un'osteria a modico prezzo. Lo staff era molto gentile, ma mi sono mancati dei sorrisi. Ci tornerei? Per adesso no, ma tra qualche anno volentieri, quando avranno deciso se abbassare i prezzi e diventare un'osteria, oppure alzare l'asticella realmente evitando scivoloni come quello della frisella.

15/03/2025: Trattoria ubicata in pieno centro, accogliente e ben arredata. Il padrone, Sig. Angelo, molto ospitale, è simpatico e professionale. Locale tovato per caso mentre tornavamo a Bari da Campomarino (TA). Buono il capocollo di Martina Franca, burratina, pomodorini e rucola per antipasto. A seguire spaghettoni cacio e pepe con vongole e tagliolini alla menta con melanzane e ricotta marzotica. Entrambi ottimi. Arrosto misto (eccezionale il capretto). Per finire un tiramisù strepitoso! Tutto preparato dalla moglie. cuoca da 10 e lode. Ci torneremo e lo consiglieremo ad amici e parenti.

We ate a variety of excellent dishes and for dessert the tiramisu and tart which were also very good. We were looked after by the owner himself, very nice and kind. The atmosphere is very warm and everything is very clean. We went in the off season so it was also very quiet. We definitely recommend it! We are a family from Argentina who host us in Lecce and we decide to come and spend the day in Manduria. We have a variety of excellent dishes and then the tiramisu and the pastaflora which are also very popular. We waited for the same dueño, very nice and lovable. The very warm and all very clean environment. We were in low weather so it was also very quiet. We definitely recommend it! We are a family from Argentina who stayed in Lecce and decided to come and spend the day in Manduria. We ate a variety of excellent dishes and for dessert the tiramisu and pastaflora that were also very tasty. We were attended by the same owner, very nice and kind. 16/03/2025: This is what I wanted to try - “fornello pronto”. Choosing your meat and have it prepared as you wish and then served with amazing potatoes on butter. Perfect place for carnivores 😎

23/03/2025: Exaggerated prices. We paid around 75 euros ONLY for the 1.5kg Florentine steak (said by them, impossible to verify). This was enough to say that I will never go back again. Too bad because the quality is good.

02/03/2025: Such a special little spot. Daniela is an amazing host. We loved staying in an authentic and charming rural agriturismo complete with cute doggy pack, Shadow the donkey, and two little sheep. Our rooms were simple and clean, amazing beds, quiet and lovely, as well as historical. The standout of course was the food, the space, and the welcoming host, Daniela- she is a true gem. Do yourself a favour and stay here if you’re looking for a charming farm getaway. We traveled with our dogs who loved it too!

13/03/2025: One of the bars that wrote the history of Martina Franca and still remains a great point of reference! Excellent breakfasts and delicious food of excellent quality. This is the place I recommend when friends or acquaintances come to Martina Franca and want to find a good bar!

24/02/2025: We stayed at this hotel for a weekend, a family-run hotel, the cook was excellent and she and her daughter made us eat local delicacies, we were welcomed very well, there was also a free shuttle that took us both there and back to the sanctuary. Excellent value for money. The missing star for the room is due to the empty mini bar.
