21/09/2025: A cozy, home-style wine bar where Luigi, the owner, makes you feel right at home with his friendly service. The wine list is a bit limited, especially on the Pugliese side, and the food could use a little more flavor and polish. Best to stick to the cheese and cold cut board or the stirate (a kind of pizzetta). Great spot for a casual drink, less so for a full meal.

16/09/2025: It was a very, very pleasant experience. The food was excellent, Apulian cuisine with some gourmet touches. The service was top-notch.

31/08/2025: I was torn between three and four stars. The food is good, the pizza too, but not good enough to justify the prices. A decent ortolana, essentially a Margherita with a few poorly grilled vegetables, isn't worth ten euros. Five euros for a portion of good fries is 30 percent more than I pay in similar places. The tart was excellent, the tiramisu was good but with a frozen base, and here comes the worst flaw: generally sloppy service, disorganized, and embarrassing wait times, especially if the place claims to be upscale. For now, the only thing that's moderately high is the price.

25/09/2025: Great pizza. The flavor is fantastic and there are many high-quality toppings that aren't common in Poland. You can eat in or take it away. Great service and good prices. We highly recommend this place and its owner.

10/10/2025: A restaurant in the heart of the charming historic center of Ceglie Messapica. Generous and top-quality appetizers. For the first course, orecchiette pasta with Apulian meat ragù is simply breathtaking. The perfect meat main course is accompanied by chimichurri sauce, a delightful novelty. Quick service, friendly and professional staff. Truly skilled. Finally, homemade desserts. Delicious. Highly recommended for lunches or evenings with friends.

08/10/2025: This place was recommended by the host who rented the apartment to us... a perfect tip! The dinner was spectacular, from appetizers to dessert. Simple, quality ingredients that convey a taste of the local area. All this accompanied by attentive, precise, and super friendly staff! Absolutely pet-friendly; our two dogs were welcomed with no problem! Highly recommended.

21/10/2025: There were four of us, and it was our first time here, enjoying a pizza before heading home. The location was elegant, the bathrooms clean and fragrant, the staff friendly, and the wait was short. Unfortunately, two of the pizzas didn't live up to expectations: one had a slightly bitter taste, likely due to excess flour on the bottom that had burned in the oven, while the other was unevenly cooked. The other pizzas were good, so I hope it was just an isolated incident. In any case, I will happily revisit this place on other occasions.

01/10/2025: Highly recommended restaurant! There's something for every taste, with pasta, fish, meat, and pizza dishes. The food is beautifully presented and tastes fantastic. There's also a wide selection of delicious desserts. So far, the best restaurant we've been to since we've been in Puglia!

02/11/2025: A wonderful discovery, I came to San Severo to visit loved ones at the cemetery and stopped one day and, on the recommendation, we had dinner in this well-kept little place. On the advice of the very kind owner, we tried two appetizers, a very delicate first course for two (sedanini with peas, mushrooms and bacon, then a glazed roast with potatoes and two local sweets). As for the wine, as I don't drink much and am the only one, I had a glass of Troia (fragrant). A place to recommend!

11/10/2025: I was passing by and was really struck by the name La Cantinella, the beautiful atmosphere accompanied by relaxing music. Excellent food, I recommend it to everyone.

03/11/2025: Very nice place. We had dinner in the little alley and the Service and Staff was great. The Food was all good, we had some Pizza, Cozze and Salad. We also had the famous primitivo red Wine and just loved it. We can recommend this place.

20/01/2025: Whenever I feel like eating a pizza I come here with my partner. The owner is always very kind, as are the waiters. What can I say...Really good pizza dough and large quantities of ingredients to fill you up, not like some pizzerias that give you paltry slices of ingredients. All adequate at the right price. I highly recommend.

12/10/2025: Staying at the nearby Granarola Castle, we decided to have dinner at this place just outside the hotel. We each ordered a first course and a second course, and both were average. The dessert was good. The portions weren't small, but the price was a bit high for the quality.

08/10/2025: As always, Osteria Melograno is a guarantee for quality, kindness, and prices. We went with our little dog and had grilled frittatas and the famous "tagliatelle del diavolo" (devil's tagliatelle). Everything was excellent, even the delicious moka coffee. ❤️ Well done, we'll be back. Fabio

08/07/2025: Friendly and efficient staff, I think that's the plus of this place. Among the dishes, I preferred the spaghetti with lobster, less so the raw seafood and the fried fish, which lacked the crispiness I expected. The place is very welcoming and well-presented. The desserts are very good.
