09/08/2024: I came at 6.40 after the sunrise 🌅, the people are lovely and I ordered pistachio croissant and it was amazing. I paid total of 6.70 for 3 and 2 espressos.

11/08/2024: Very nice bar 2 steps from the beach of Santa Maria which could aim for the full 5 stars. For 2 days we stopped for breakfast after the morning workout and, although pasticciotti, croissants and cappuccinos are very good, the same cannot be said about the service... very slow, with only one girl serving the tables, in the middle of August. This morning we finally queued at the counter to get food but we gave up on coffee and cappuccinos... and like us, many other people who, tired of waiting for what they ordered, left! Sin.

The pizzas are simply delicious, with particular attention to high-quality ingredients. I highly recommend the “Sinfonia” pizza, a true masterpiece of flavours. The service was impeccable, thanks to Matteo who served us with great professionalism and kindness

28/08/2024: Re Matto 25 agosto 2024 Nostra ultima sera in Puglia! Che si fa? Si festeggia con una bella cenetta al Re Matto. Consigliato da un amica. E che sorpresa trovare posti così! Pietanze buone, ben servite, di qualità. Una "squadra" di camerieri giovani. Matteo, Jacopo e Marco, sapientemente coordinati dalla loro responsabile di sala , simpatica, cordiale. Una serata allegra coadiuvato da un giovanissimo personale capace di consigliarci al meglio sia per mangiare che bere. Distillati squisiti per concludere la serata. E per movimentare ulteriormente la cena, già di per sé allegra, è arrivata la compagnia teatrale Anonimi Salentini dopo una loro performance! Insomma, mangiato bene, allietati da cordialità, umorismo e tanta professionalità! Consigliatissimo.

Das Ambiente lässt sich als sehr stimmig und entspannend beschreiben. Wir haben den Abend sehr genossen und werden bestimmt wieder kommen!

12/05/2024: I live on the other side of the country and I travel on purpose to buy from Uppà, it has become my trusted bakery! Excellent products, friendly staff and spotlessly clean place. The owner is a hoot! Apart from the bakery it is possible to order take-away buffets, with panzerottini, mini sandwiches, rustici etc. Of all the goodies available, I recommend the low tomato focaccia and the brioche bread which, for the occasion, can be made in the shape of letters or numbers.

I left with the mocking attitude of the good-natured owner who, for the umpteenth time, has charged 50 cents for the beer and doesn't understand that those cents are ridiculous, that if he gives them back to me he hasn't solved anything if then, long ago repeat offender, at the cash register, he asks for 5 for that beer and on the menu it has it for 4.50.. but I can't stand the attitude of mockery, I was wrong not to call 117.. reprint these menus, not that Being smart, you try to steal 50 cents from a customer!...pizza? ate out of hunger, it was hard to bend the fork... but for us it was charcoal dough (probably frozen and thawed...)...

13/08/2024: Good pizza, nice location. Only one person at the tables slows down the service a little, but it is a negligible detail. The mixture with wine is interesting.

04/08/2024: An experience to be repeated countless times. Goodness and authenticity of the dishes. Spaghetti all'assassina simply fabulous. Everything perfect. Polite, friendly and helpful staff. 5 stars.

03/08/2024: Dynamic and very helpful staff. Quick service. Top assassin! I recommend the classic, so you can enjoy it. The portions are generous. I also tried the version with stracciatella, but in my opinion it loses its essence, because the flavor of stracciatella is quite covering! The desserts are also excellent, although in this case the price is slightly high in my opinion. I recommend booking, especially on weekends. I will definitely go back
