08/07/2025: Excellent dinner. We started with a typical dish; broad beans and chicory. Then a first course that exceeded all expectations: cavatelli with sausage, mushrooms, pecorino and rocket. Both prepared with care. Staff courteous and professional. The location overlooks the splendid Bari valley.

22/06/2025: Review made after three visits, two of which were 6 years apart. Excellent trattoria in the historic center of Nardò. I tried many of the dishes offered on the menu and found each one exquisite. I recommend the octopus meatballs and the cavatelli mussels and beans. The atmosphere is rustic but well-kept. If you sit on the terrace there is a high probability that a local kitten will stop by to visit you; there is a colony that seems to particularly love this place. The service is reasonably fast and the staff is extremely welcoming. A ritual stop for every time I am lucky enough to visit Salento.

18/06/2025: We were there six years ago and we returned this year for two more times! Always everything delicious, high quality cuisine and ingredients. For those in the Nardò/Porto Cesareo area it is an absolutely recommended stop for a good first course that is meat or fish. We also really appreciated the second courses and appetizers (not to mention the wine!). We will definitely return as soon as we have the chance!

27/08/2025: I tried the pasta all'assassina at this trattoria and it was a real surprise: perfectly cooked, perfectly crispy, and with that smoky, slightly spicy flavor that makes this dish unique. The portion was generous and beautifully presented, with just the right amount of charring that distinguishes the true assassina from Bari. The friendly service and family atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try a traditional Apulian dish prepared as it should be.

06/09/2025: We went there on a recommendation. The service was prompt and polite, but not smiling. The food wasn't that well prepared, even though the ingredients were high quality. Of the starter course (8 according to the menu), only 6 were served; the rest came later, after we asked for them. There was a lot of octopus. The ingredients were of high quality and very fresh, but unfortunately overcooked and thus rubbery. The main course (orecchiette with turnip greens) was underseasoned, and the vegetables were very long and therefore difficult to eat. Perhaps it was a bad day in the kitchen. The ambiance was nice in a busy location, but unfortunately, the table was wobbly, and some kebab shop next door opened at full volume that very evening. Based on the recommendation, we received a discount.

07/07/2025: Awful salad tasteless Fresh orange juice turned out to be orange in bottle To top it off ordered a Coke whilst taking first sip I got a mouthful of something old that was in the straw - maybe old chocolate who knows. 22/08/2025: We stopped because we saw a simple little place with tables outside... But when we looked at the menu, we immediately noticed that the prices were a bit high for the type of location (it's located on a side street in Savelletri, and doesn't even have a sea view). The quality-price ratio needs to be reconsidered... Thin-crust pizza, not bad... The girl serving was very kind, and the other staff were generally friendly too!

17/08/2025: Service was rated 1 only because 0 isn't an option. We were completely left to our own devices, and the only waitress was rude and surly. It's a shame because it's a good pizzeria, but very disorganized. I'd like to see the service improve. For now, they've lost me as a customer!

03/08/2025: Terrible pizzeria, disgusting service to say the least. They offered a type of menu but when we arrived we were served hungry. We practically ate nothing. If we hadn't asked for the ham and mozzarella included in the menu, they would have only brought us pizza and some rubbish like olives and sgagliozze. It was shameful to charge a child for a whole menu of 20 euros who only ate a pizza. And after we paid 300 euros, in addition to having brought a 14 kilo watermelon, they only served us 4 plates with 4 slices and that's it. We were 15 people. They stole at least 10 kilos of watermelon. They are disgusting thieves and I hope they close down as soon as possible.

25/08/2025: In August, a half-empty restaurant is already a red flag, and indeed... soggy fried food, cold and even rude staff, a far cry from the Salento hospitality I've experienced in recent days. I won't comment on the shrimp: they certainly weren't fresh, and making fun of us is even offensive. Let's draw a veil over the bill. The truth? The idiot in this story is me: I'd read the reviews and, being a true masochist, I decided to try it anyway. A mistake I won't make again.

10/08/2025: We had the pleasure of lunch at this grill restaurant located in Trani, just steps from the sea. Here you can enjoy top-quality meat and pasta dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. The staff is friendly and available to accommodate your every request. The wine pairs excellently with the Golden Age Angus, a must-have if you decide to dine here. The atmosphere is very refined. Pets are welcome and can stay with you at the table. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
