14/03/2026: It's a good thing we didn't read the reviews about this place, because we probably would have missed it... We had breakfast twice between 9:00-11:00 a.m. and the food was fresh and delicious ❤️ We've been in Italy for a week, today is our last day, and only today did I have a delicious pistachio croissant! Highly recommended! We've been to so many bad places in Italy, and this is one of the few where the food is simply delicious. Highly recommended

09/03/2026: DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE! I'll start by saying that this isn't my first time eating here, but I've always had a pretty good experience so far, but yesterday was my last. I called a couple of weeks ago to ask if they were organizing a DJ night for March 8th and they told me it would be an a la carte menu, so I made a reservation. As soon as we arrived, it was clear that there was no music or DJ; in fact, the TV channel was even playing a football match. I pointed this out to one of the waiters, who told me they never organize DJ nights and couldn't understand how they could have given me this false information. We decided to ignore this poor organization and enjoy each other's company. When it was time to order, and since I have allergies to certain foods, I asked one of the waiters what ingredients were in the dish I'd chosen, and he gave me a cursory explanation that was completely different from what the dish actually was. In fact, when the dish arrived, I pointed out his mistake and, having already waited too long, asked if he could make me a pizza with the ingredients I could eat. Shortly afterward, the waiter returned and confirmed that he'd misdescribed the dish and told me that they'd run out of the essential pizza ingredient. Desperate, I decided to make myself a dish that, frankly, I could have easily eaten at home. To top it off, towards the end of our meal, the waiter, who had to write him a registered letter to get his attention sooner, kept asking us if he could take our dishes away or if we wanted anything else, almost as if he wanted to literally throw us out of the restaurant because it was clear he wanted to go home. I'd say that after this awful, terrible experience, we'll never set foot in there again.

10/09/2025: This small place at the beginning of the Santa Maria di Leuca seafront can easily go unnoticed; even the first impression is rather simple. However, if you want to satisfy your hunger at a truly affordable price, it's definitely worth stepping in and ordering a slice of crispy pizza or a deliciously stuffed homemade puccia salentina (similar to a stuffed pizza-like bread pocket). The two young men are very kind and even accommodate special requests, such as vegetarian toppings. Also noteworthy was the young man's thoroughness in washing his hands before preparing our puccia and, very kindly, sharing it between my wife and me. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts: we enjoyed this delicacy on the return trip to Otranto! Best regards from us Austrians!

12/01/2026: I give 5 stars for the location, I love these places in the wild nature, 4 stars for the dinner and the service, 2/3 for the too long lunch where the quality is lost and also the taste is lost ... but I will gladly return for the dinner where the good wine and excellent meat make the evening pleasant and casual

11/01/2026: What can I say... I've rarely felt so welcomed and pampered! This place makes me feel at home; in 2026, it's hard to find a place this "REAL"! Nothing too fancy or elaborate; the chef delights you with homemade preparations. We arrived with no expectations; the variety of dishes overwhelmed us, only quality products. Last but not least: the DJ played all afternoon for us, between beers and endless liters of wine! Coffee and liqueurs were, of course, offered. If I could give 10 stars, I would. PS: The staff was truly efficient and competent, fast, and always smiling. They danced with us. 10⭐️ from the guys at Casamassima Villa Whisky

19/01/2026: I wanted to try this pizzeria... I was very happy... the pizza was really good, you could taste the quality of the ingredients... I also liked the beer, as well as the dessert... very nice place, there are still some details missing from what I've been told, and there are also outdoor tables... very friendly staff, wearing masks as they should these days... definitely recommended 😋 I reiterate my opinion... I've been back, the pizza was really good 👍👍👍 The highlight of last night... I had the "pittule with Nutella and coconut" for dessert, a delicious combination... 👏👏👏 Updating my review... I tried ordering pizza for home delivery... the pizza arrived piping hot, naturally good, and crispy (I had no doubts). Excellent service!!! P.S.: Right on time...🙂 I'm back to update this review... Last night I went to Made in Sud again... to my great surprise, I saw that the outdoor dining area was available, even if a few details are still missing... it's simply AMAZING!!! So what more could you ask for... Spectacular location... delicious pizza, craft beer, and, to finish, a delicious dessert prepared by the delightful Chef Andrea... Congratulations!!! 👏👏👏 After 2 years, I'm back once again to update my review. The pizzas are always excellent, but Made in Sud also boasts excellent cuisine, starting from the appetizers to the two first courses... land and sea, expertly prepared by Chef Andrea. The hospitality, food, location, and staff were truly fabulous... I highly recommend it 👏👏👏👏👏 After quite a while, I'm back to update my review. The dining room has changed a bit, with additional tables. Last night I ordered the "Mister Satan," which was delicious. I also had the chocolate soufflé... the warm heart was perfect. The hospitality, dining room, food... Top MADE IN SUD 2.0 💯

12/10/2025: Friendly welcome, presentation of the day's catch. Very fresh. Good value for money. The swordfish was a delight. It's worth noting that in Puglia, the meal is charged at €3/person, and that side dishes, like our fries, are also charged at €5. The wines aren't excessive, and this one is very good. Sea view and a beautiful, clean interior.

21/10/2025: The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and thankfully so!!! The hotel is so sad... Everything is cold and dark. Is it because it's autumn? The rooms have minimal amenities for a 4-star hotel. Not even a kettle to make tea, which you'll have to ask for at the bar and pay for. Yes, it really is a bar, this empty and dark place; you just have to ask at reception, who will then come and serve you. Let's talk a little about the soundproofing; no need to strain your ears, you'll be able to participate in the conversations in the adjoining rooms as if you were there. You'd think the walls were made of cardboard... Breakfast is a disaster, there's nothing... ask for bread, and you'll have to wait 10 minutes, the same goes for the croissants, which are displayed in groups of three, not one more for the entire room. There are lots of cakes, stale, since they're brought out every day until they run out. On the positive side, the restaurant is very good and excellent value for money. The bedding is also very good and everything is clean. Very few positive elements for this hotel which is hardly worth more than 2 stars. Thank you to all the staff for their welcome, smiles and kindness. They all deserve credit for working in such a sad place. Luckily there are a few cats outside who brighten up this place...

15/10/2025: Friendly and helpful staff. Just steps from the caves but far from the center. We were able to enjoy the spa area exclusively; it was small but perfect for relaxing. The rooms could use a makeover. Overall, we had a great weekend.

18/01/2026: We visited this agriturismo, which isn't easy to find, but Google directions are helpful. The place is quaint and meticulously maintained. A 28-year-old has taken over the family business, and he does so with great dedication. They offer set menus, but they're definitely worth trying. A tasting of Apulian appetizers with an excellent twist; the rosé wine was truly delicious, served at just the right temperature in a unique glass carafe. The mixed grill was truly tasty, and the dessert was sublime. Highly recommended. Excellent value. Highly recommended!

09/11/2025: Company lunch: mediocre food, central portions not enough for all diners, something we reported but didn't take notice of, and the staff actually questioned our report. Rude staff. I won't add anything else. Crazy stuff!!!!

04/02/2026: A welcoming location, polite and helpful staff, but what sets this place apart is the authenticity of the ingredients. In Cerignola, everyone boasts about quality, but few actually put it into practice. The pizza is excellent, and since I've celebrated several anniversaries, I absolutely recommend the restaurant as well. The portions are generous and delicious, from the presentation to the taste. It's an experience to be savoured; giving it 5 stars is the least I can give. Kudos also to the owners, a husband and wife team of restaurateurs who know how to satisfy even the most discerning palates.

02/02/2026: I walked into this place and had a wonderful experience. As soon as I sat down, Mr. Dino, the owner of this pizzeria, welcomed me as if I were at home. He's a serious, professional, and very diligent person. He also served the dishes very quickly, the result of well-organized and impeccable work with his team. I highly recommend Paladino to everyone!

03/09/2025: The prices were too high for the service offered. Furthermore, the place was NOT up to standard. There were no emergency lights, so the evening was in the dark. We were only able to see what we were eating thanks to our cell phones. And the receipt? Who knows what that is? Northern and southern Italy are truly two different countries. How is it possible that no one checks?

17/07/2025: Abbiamo conosciuto questo posto su consiglio di amici, nei vicoli del centro storico. Che dire: personale simpatico, professionale e garbato. Cibo eccellente. Abbiamo assaggiato due primi (linguine con i frutti di mare e gnocchi di patate con vongole e asparago verde) davvero deliziosi, seguiti da un'ottima frittura di calamari. Vino rosato di eccellente qualità. Consigliatissimo!

16/07/2025: Menu turistico ottimo linguine ai frutti di mare eccellenti, il pane con l olio servito a tavola da leccarsi i baffi.filetto si irata alle mandorle......il tutto a buon prezzo.🤪
