29/10/2025: A wonderful discovery! This authentic family-run restaurant served fresh fish from the lake and homemade fries. The terrace is lovely, away from the crowds, and very peaceful. The service was friendly. I highly recommend it.

29/10/2025: The restaurant is a bit hidden among small streets but is well signposted. Very friendly staff welcomed us for lunch and took great care of our toddler. The gnocchi were delicious, and the fish stew with potatoes was also very good. Recommended!

The owner is very professional and kind, with a keen eye for children, from the menu to the entertainment provided with paper and pencils. Quick and attentive service.

18/01/2026: The Osteria della Luna piena in Verbania welcomed us on a rainy January evening. The atmosphere is pleasant, rustic yet refined; the lady who served us was welcoming and attentive, carefully explaining the characteristics of the various dishes and offering helpful tips for exploring the area. We tried a lake fish appetizer and the golden lavaret with vegetables. Both dishes were excellent and meticulously prepared; the lavaret in particular was masterfully fried, dry and crispy. The same was true for the roast potatoes, absolutely perfect in texture and flavor. You can tell they're very skilled at cooking. The Bonet was also excellent, served with a generous dollop of cream. A truly positive experience that I recommend to anyone visiting Verbania.

31/12/2025: Great restaurant in a former horse stable. Friendly welcome and delicious food. You can order from the regular menu or set menus. I even received a complimentary amuse-bouche. The restaurant is a bit hidden away in a side street, but definitely worth a visit.

A cozy, family-run restaurant with limited seating, a relaxed atmosphere, and a relaxed atmosphere. The menu features locally sourced ingredients. The antipasto, featuring cured meats and cheeses hand-picked by the owner and enhanced with a savory pepper mousse freshly prepared in the kitchen and chestnut honey from the Ossola Valley, is highly recommended. 09/10/2025: Very fair prices, friendly service, and delicious, typical Italian dishes like homemade lasagna, gnocchi with buffalo mozzarella, and pizza. There's also a small children's menu. The outdoor area is huge. I'm pleasantly surprised!

01/01/2026: The menu was impeccable; the dishes we ordered were all delicious and meticulously prepared. The service was excellent, and the staff were fantastic, very attentive to the customer's needs and meticulously prepared. It's a shame about the guy who appeared to be the owner... At the end of the dinner, I went to the restrooms, while my friends, after paying the bill, sat outside. While I was washing my hands, I overheard the owner, who was sitting at the register, leaving unkind and rude comments about the entire table I was with—truly unpleasant comments that ruined our evening. Everything was perfect; the good thing about this place was having such excellent and friendly staff, but it's a shame about the owner (I assume it was the owner, since he was sitting at the register and counting the evening's takings). We won't be returning, because despite the fantastic food, the courteous staff, and despite the considerable amount of money we spent (there were only 10 of us), I would have expected not to receive such caliber and vile comments. My sincere thanks to the staff!
