18/08/2025: I had an incredibly special dinner @Ristorante La Mina this evening. The steak tartar with freshly picked porcini mushrooms was truly incredible. Warm and real service and in the heart of a very cool city. Turin is the Detroit of Europe, and the vibe is worth a visit

12/08/2025: There were only two tables in the dining room. We made the mistake of paying and not checking the bill beforehand. We ordered: 1 dish of unpretentious gnocchi for 15 euros + 1 summer menu for 30 euros (normally including drinks, cutlery, etc.) + bottle of water + 2 coffees. We paid a total of 61.50 euros. Overcharging or a mistake on the bill? In any case, much too expensive for the price.

24/10/2025: My pizza was very salty and had a very burnt crust. I chose Napoli for my family's pizza party because I've had some really good ones in Naples. The dough was okay, but everything else was disappointing... The place was welcoming and the staff were kind and helpful.

09/06/2025: J’étais déjà venue au Pastificio Defilippis et j’en avais gardé un excellent souvenir. Cette fois encore, l’expérience a été très agréable : les serveurs sont vraiment gentils et ont réussi à nous trouver une table alors qu’on n’avait pas réservé. Le cadre est charmant, bien décoré, on s’y sent bien. La cuisine est toujours aussi bonne. La première fois, j’avais mangé des pâtes à l’arrabbiata que j’avais adorées, et j’étais venue exprès pour les reprendre — mais ici la carte change souvent, donc il faut savoir qu’on ne retrouve pas forcément les plats d’une fois sur l’autre. Ce n’est pas un restaurant de « classiques » comme la carbonara, le pesto ou le ragù : ici, on trouve plutôt des recettes originales comme des pâtes aux courgettes ou aux fruits de mer. C’est une cuisine qui sort de l’ordinaire, raffinée, bien travaillée. En revanche, les prix sont un peu élevés (comptez facilement 17-18 € le plat), et les portions sont assez petites — on a encore un peu faim en sortant. Donc le rapport qualité-prix peut paraître un peu juste. Mais les desserts sont très bons aussi, et l’ensemble reste une belle adresse si vous cherchez un resto de pâtes un peu différent à Turin.

There are vegetarian options, a variety of fried foods, cold pasta, meatballs, chicken wings, and more. If you want, you'll leave feeling very full without needing to go back for dinner, which justifies the price. The staff is courteous and very friendly :)

11/11/2025: The recently renovated, elegant yet modern atmosphere is worthy of Turin's tradition. The cuisine is simply perfect, both in its refinement and the quality of the dishes. The service and the kindness of the staff are second to none. The owner is friendly and knows how to treat his customers. Restaurants of this caliber are virtually unique in Turin.

20/11/2025: I ate an excellent panini and drank a very good, strong coffee. I really enjoyed this lovely cafe.

02/08/2025: As a traveller I had my first coffee in Turin here... and it was an experience SO PLEASANT that I am definitely returning to this city and this caffè. The staff was SO KIND and welcoming, and the food was excellent. Simply a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee with friends.

11/09/2025: Very friendly and helpful people. I always buy their diplomatica cakes from them, which are delicious. When it's time to celebrate, their diplomatica cake is a spectacular dessert. The cakes are always fresh, and it's best to order them in advance. Highly recommended!

12/07/2025: Unfortunately, the granita was awful. I think it was the worst I've ever eaten in my life. I'm sorry, but I won't be back.
