20/04/2025: A dear reader friend of mine and I went to this enchanting place in the heart of San Salvario for lunch. The very kind boy welcomed us and pampered us during the meal, with simple and authentic flavours. A peaceful nest in which the passion for reading and food combines, a magical combination for those who want to spend a peaceful afternoon even just to enjoy a good coffee and read a book. Highly recommended!

08/05/2025: Excellent food, generous portions, wide choice of meat or fish menu. Some problems with the service, but excellently solved by two very good and kind waiters. Ate a really good fish menu, ending with a superlative sorbet made by them, lemon or green apple. I will return and recommend it. Better to book......

11/01/2025: We ordered Christmas catering for 23 people. We were given advice on the various menus offered, finger food, sweet sandwiches, mini croissants, various pizzas... bread, breadsticks and some delicatessen dishes. All very good and appreciated by the guests. We went a little overboard with the quantities. In fact we are still eating leftovers that we froze. But it's still all good now. 16/05/2025: Very disappointed by the bar and its aperitif and the hospitality not up to par. I had been hearing about ch4 for years and I couldn't wait to get to know this place. Unfortunately I happened to find myself there for an aperitif and the welcome was not the best. Rude sales assistant. They had asked us first of all if we had booked but since we were few we hadn't done so but they had promised us anyway that it was fine anyway. We opted for the 10 euro aperitif. We sat down and only when we got up to go to the bathroom they told us that there would be no table service.. I was a little upset not to know before, but it doesn't matter.. I took these 5 wooden cutting boards 1 at a time and the 5 glasses and I sat down unfortunately also disappointed by the fact that the aperitif was only chips, taralli, olives, 1 piece of focaccia, 1 piece of toast and 1 piece of burnt pizza that I didn't eat. Honestly for 10 euros I expected a little more. Unfortunately I will never set foot in there again, sorry

09/05/2025: The place is small, the girl who took our order was very kind and nice. The panzerotto was good, it didn't taste like oil, the filling was stringy, and the tomato was not acidic. My mother, who is lactose intolerant, managed to find something, because the people inside gave very good and safe options for those with this type of problem. The chips are not very salty, but I prefer something a little saltier.

He has to take care of emptying the cart and I often find myself waiting at least 10 minutes for a coffee! This is no longer sustainable in my opinion, neither for us customers nor for the staff

07/05/2025: We found this place, very good and abundant enough for an aperitif. We ordered a large platter and a tile and were full. The contents of the cutting boards vary according to the cuisine of the day and the season. For large groups I recommend the tower, but if there are two of you, in order not to advance I recommend a cutting board and then a fix of something else. The drinks are good and the beer too, excellent prices and proportionate to the dishes. There are pressed drinks, long ones, and even non-alcoholic ones for those who want something light without alcohol. The environment is very quiet and suitable for a romantic aperitif or with friends. Far from the nightlife area of ​​San Salvario. The waiters and the chef are very nice and helpful. I highly recommend it to everyone.
