02/11/2023: The Thursday of the cronies moved to Giowine today with a special guest among us the prof. Carlo Novara. Today's votes Location 7 Menu 8 Price 7 1/2 Wine 7 1/2 Giò Wine tavern with wine bar... just finding a place like this in the Crocetta area is a rare case, if it is also good I would say it is a unique case.... In winter the place is really small but in spring summer there is it is a large outdoor area on the main road of Corso Duca degli Abruzzi which is appreciated despite the pub tables and paper placemats fluttering here and there... The lunch menu at 12.50 + wine has a choice of 4 first courses and 4 second courses ....the Sorrento gnocchi were very good and the Milanese is never missing... The loose Barbera is good... 9 euros per litre... Payment with satispay is also always appreciated by us Turin people....

10/10/2023: Ero casualmente da quelle parti, e, avendo letto delle buone recensioni su TripAdvisor, ho deciso di provarlo, anche perché il dehors, sotto gli alberi del controviale di corso Duca degli Abruzzi, aveva un’aria piacevole. Ma le cose positive si sono fermate lì. Ho provato una lonza di maiale alla pizzaiola con un sugo più che accettabile (e - lo riconosco - anche digeribile), ma con una carne davvero dura e stopposa, tipica del maiale scaldato e riscaldato più volte. Il contorno era costituito da patate con cottura randomizzata: alcune dure (forse per complice simpatia con la carne), altre semidisfatte e desiderose di farla finita… Ai tavoli vicini ho invece visto – ma troppo tardi - dei primi che sembravano molto attraenti … Servizio non scortese, ma assai frettoloso (il posto era pienissimo, ma credo con una permanenza media di mezzora). Con un Tiramisù non male, un quartino di cattivo rosso, e un caffè, intorno ai 17€. Naturalmente, in un ristoranteun pranzo-no può sempre succedere, ma è toccato a me…

19/11/2024: A wonderful discovery: simple but authentic cuisine, very kind staff and a warm and welcoming environment. At lunch the menu includes first course, second course and side dish for €12: the portions would feed anyone. A tavern worthy of the name, I will return.

14/11/2024: A pleasant surprise. Went in for something quick to eat, despite apparently being simply a bar, I ate some excellent Plin. Excellent quality/price ratio.

07/11/2024: Esageratissimo nel prezzo... Gli antipasti 25 euro a testa... Peperoni e salsa di acciughe, un pezzettino di frittata con zucchine, robiola con cipolla caramellata, salsiccia di Bra.. E vi ho detto tutto...assaggini di primi e 4 dolci.. 2 grappe e due caffè... Grissini dal sapore non fragrante 280 euro... Arrivederci e grazie e visto che il proprietario che tanto gentile e tanto onesto pare ha risposto su Google che chi non può permetterselo non ci deve andare... Le dico che è anche presuntuoso e poco educato

03/01/2025: Friendly and efficient staff, classic bowling alley food, really good leg of pork, I was expecting larger portions as some friends had told me but it may be that since it was full of customers they reduced the portions a bit but still satisfying, I didn't like the I thought the sweets that were offered to us and the bitters were included in the fixed evening menu, the bill per person was 28 euros, let's say it was fair, I will return to try other dishes. I forgot there is music but not much room for dancing but they told me that in the summer they have plenty of outdoor space so it will definitely be nicer to hang out. I recommended the place to my daughter and her boyfriend, terrible idea, zero cleanliness, poor quality of food and prices that aren't bowling alley

18/12/2024: A bowls club that serves first course, second course, wine, water and coffee for lunch for 12 euros with simple dishes well cooked by the chef and not pre-cooked, worth a visit!!!

09/12/2024: Very cozy place with great attention. We arrived a little late as a group of 3 children and 4 adults, but the lady who attended us was very friendly and gave us all the time in the world, she even helped us with some questions about lockers in the area. Very good chocolate.

10/01/2025: Learn to accept criticism and bad reviews instead of having to respond almost making fun of customers! You are shameful. I came to eat, so much so that you call me "the gentleman up here" and company. Accept the negative reviews or get off Google Maps. Secondly, if I wrote the review yesterday it doesn't mean that I came yesterday, I came a few weeks ago, and I repeat, it is useless to focus on the beauty of the place when the cuisine needs to be reviewed, or rather, more. We are customers, shut up and accept criticism instead of having to say that I didn't come and other COLOSSAL BS. Also show that you have a straw. There must be a reason... shame.

08/01/2025: There is no point in aiming for the beauty of Local, if the cuisine is vomiting! One goes out to eat first and foremost to eat well, I don't care about the cool lamp or the armchair, if I can't even eat there. How sad…

01/01/2025: poor assortment and creations that do not respect the true Sicilian tradition. the cream of the cannoli and cassatine tastes more like cream than ricotta (the traditional one must be made strictly with only sheep's ricotta, sugar and chocolate drops), I found the almond pastries undercooked and last but not least, at the beginning of the day I didn't they had buccellatini. in my opinion overall very far from what a true Sicilian pastry shop should be.

29/12/2024: We stayed three days during the Christmas period. The rooms have old windows through which the cold enters and during the night you can hear noises and voices from the street. Soaps or other pampering for guests are practically non-existent, there is barely any hand soap. As soon as we arrived, the host told us that if we had used the services of the bar he managed we would have had a free aperitif and a discount on breakfasts, both of which we had never seen before. On the last day we paid 2 euros each to keep our suitcases for a few hours while waiting to leave for the airport. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it for the quality/price ratio.

24/12/2024: Can you give 6 stars? Here the concept of quality sets a new high standard. Even a simple Martini is nebulized by a splash of vermouth The prosecco used in the spritz is Prago. A place for those who appreciate the difference

09/12/2024: A nice Italian bar, where you are welcomed with a nice smiling greeting, where the coffee (or cappuccino) - which is a pleasure as the advertisement reminded us some time ago - is served with grace, with the right space at the counter for not having to swallow it amid pushes and bad moods... and where - from the third time onwards - they perfectly remember your preferences. Abundant and well-prepared pastries and sandwiches with absolutely affordable prices. Finally, listen, listen, say thank you and say goodbye when you leave!

03/12/2024: A place that I recommend to university students and others, where it is possible to have an excellent breakfast but also lunch at more than good prices. Furthermore, a really kind and helpful service, which together with the pop decor of the place makes this place really nice. Highly recommended!

04/10/2024: Probably one of the best restaurants when it comes to burgers. The flavors are amazing and decisive and the price is extremely advantageous. Not to mention the friendly and always available staff. Absolutely worth trying again!

11/07/2024: I often go to the 110 praise bar, working in the area, for breakfast but sometimes for lunch and an aperitif. The service is pleasant and the quality of the cuisine on offer is truly excellent. I also celebrated my nephew's graduation and although we were a very large group the treatment was excellent. Exceptional spritz and good appetizers too. I recommend it both for work breaks and to celebrate an event with friends and relatives. See you very soon
