22/05/2025: Ecco, bisogna chiarire che non è una semplice cena, parliamo piuttosto di un'esperienza gastronomica dove tutto è unico, sopraffino e curato con grande attenzione. Il cibo viene preparato con ingredienti rari e ricette alchemiche ed essendo impiattato con mano d'artista diventa sia squisito al palato che spettacolare alla vista. Ambiente rilassante. Staff gentilissimo. Dog friendly. Insomma ci sono tutti gli ingredienti per una serata veramente speciale.

19/05/2025: Premettendo che non sono vegana o vegetariana, consiglio pienamente questa esperienza di cucina vegetale, che mi ha piacevolmente impressionato. Il locale si mostra elegante ed essenziale, con una giusta atmosfera intima; il personale gentile e sempre disponibile, senza mai essere invadente. Dal menù e dalla preparazione dei piatti traspare l'idea di cucina dello chef, in grado di esaltare appieno ogni sapore della materia prima utilizzata, anche grazie agli abbinamenti adottati. Il contoè a mio avviso in linea con la qualità e la lavorazione dei piatti.

20/05/2025: Just finished my pizza, still here now finishing my coffee. A really great GF pizza experience. I couldn't tell the difference from non-GF. Having a gluten intolerance means I have to be careful with pizza. This one was delicious. The best part, it's around the corner from my hotel.. Friendly helpful staff too, bonus... I arrived late so only one other table occupied so it was quiet hence the lower score for atmosphere but I loved it

24/05/2025: Situado a un corto paseo de donde nos alojamos en Via Po disfrutamos de una excelente cena de degustación anoche con primos que son lugareños de Torino que esperan ir allí de nuevo. Comida deliciosa, interesante y auténtica. El servicio fue muy profesional y atento.

05/06/2025: Beautiful and welcoming place, just like the owners who pay a lot of attention to customers. The service is impeccable, attentive but not intrusive. The food is of excellent quality, special note for their plin and there is also a wide selection of wines. The environment is perfect for a romantic dinner, the place is quiet and cared for in the smallest details. I can't find a flaw in this place, I would have liked to discover it before and I will return with great pleasure

24/05/2025: Surprise in the heart of Barriera, a welcoming place, in the midst of vintage with a hint of modernity that still gives the place a touch that is always fresh and clean. Light background music. Simple, fun, homely clientele. Quality of dishes already above average, well-kept, good and delicate, fresh food. Very friendly chef, adequate but careful service House wine, but not the usual vinaccio, on the contrary... Very positive review, it seems blaff, but absolutely sincere! I'll be back, and I recommend it

24/05/2025: First time I come to this little restaurant in the heart of Barriera, far from the action. At first glance it seems like a simple bar, but as soon as you enter the vintage atmosphere makes you feel like you're in a 70s movie! Super friendly staff and chef, delicious and cheap food. The two of us had a first course each and a HUGE rib eye to split between two. Excellent house wine. I will definitely go back and highly recommend it! You are fantastic ❤️

25/04/2025: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante dopo aver letto le recensioni positive presenti sul sito. Il locale è molto caratteristico, il personale è accogliente e davvero disponibile. Dopo un piccolo entrée di benvenuto (ottima la giardiniera), abbiamo preso il vitello tonnato (buono, ma si sentiva molto la senape), gli agnolotti del plin ai tre arrosti e il brasato. La qualità era molto buona. Il brasato è un piatto che consiglio di assaggiare, precisando però che è molto impegnativo, quindi qualora si avesse intenzione di assaggiare più piatti tradizionali, consiglio di dividerlo in due. Abbiamo chiuso la cena con il bonet (dolce tradizionale) e un passito piemontese. Abbiamo speso in totale 94 euro per un antipasto, un primo, due secondi, dolce e bevande. Buono nel complesso.

05/05/2025: I visited this Locanda at the end of April with a group of 14 people. It was a great choice! It's a small restaurant with only about 20 seats. The owner, Santino, whose grandfather came to Turin from Sicily in the 1950s when FIAT needed workers, cooks a lot of Sicilian dishes. We had "Caponata di Melanzana" or "Fritto di Alici" as an appetizer, followed by "Paccheri al Ragù" or "Braciole di Maiale alla Messina" as a main course. Everyone enjoyed the food. The owner, Santino, and his waitress were very friendly! A pleasant atmosphere – we were very satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant!

22/04/2025: We highly recommend this cozy restaurant, where we had a wonderful meal on a quiet Tuesday evening. The outdoor area with the lamp and the background buzz of San Salvario makes the atmosphere truly pleasant. The owner was very kind. I ordered spaghetti alla guitar with muddica, anchovies and bottarga: a simple but extraordinary dish, I loved it. The roasted octopus with tomato and strawberry gazpacho was a surprise. We will definitely be back!

22/05/2025: Very good service. The guy served us in excellent Spanish, and the food was delicious and plentiful. We ate the menu: the pasta was handmade, and everything was reasonably priced.

21/05/2025: Weekend in Turin, after visiting the Egyptian Museum we got a little hungry, and we discovered this place by chance... and what a place! I was really impressed! The environment is welcoming and well-kept, it makes you feel at home immediately. The staff deserves special praise for their helpfulness and kindness, always ready to satisfy every request with a smile. A lunch with excellent Piedmontese dishes. Absolutely recommended!

01/06/2025: I got two take-out pizzas a short while ago, I can't use the word "scam" because the prices are low but just look at the photo to understand that Pizza is one thing while the badly leavened dough discs that produce another. The pizzas are small and too low, the taste of the dough is not what it should be and even the tomato is not as tasty as it should. I didn't perceive the garlic in the marinara, my tongue, eyes and nose didn't detect anything and getting the marinara wrong is really serious. The delivery times were almost immediate, that was the only positive thing. In short, therefore, this business thinks it makes pizza but the result is in line with the current average of kebab shops that, apparently, shame places that seem Neapolitan but are not at all. Stay away from this place and follow tradition, Pizza is research and passion and not a way to get by by making fun of customers. ...if only the man who works as a waiter avoided touching the glasses with his hands in the area where the lips rest, eh?! Incredible, crazy things.

27/05/2025: We happened to be in the area and given the dinner time we stopped at this pizzeria. Fried calzone and excellent pizzas, desserts one better than the other. A nice discovery. We will definitely be back. Kind and friendly managers and waiters. Highly recommended

24/04/2025: This was simply the best restaurant dinner I have had in a very long time. It has a range of dishes from traditional Piemontese to more eclectic. The portions are not small: after a starter and primo I couldn't finish the secundo (a shame because it was so good). The poached egg starter was good and the rabbit very good. The Risotto primo was top class and the braised veal and amberjack fish secundi were really excellent. But the prices are actually low for the quality, comparable to other restaurants nearby: starters are €15 to €19, same for primi, and €21 to €27 for secundi. Desserts are €9. The desserts are amazing and the dessert/pastry chef has real talent; other reviews talk about the porcini mushroom dessert and it's even better than they say: it has to be tasted to be believed. The service is excellent. One of us is coeliac (Gluten free) and they adjusted dishes e.g., amuse-bouche, dessert, where possible. The Gluten free bread was superior to most. Service was prompt but not intrusive. It's hard to oversell this place. Excellent food and service, and extremely good value.
