30/11/2025: We found the place by chance, centrally located and delicious. Excellent service (Eugenia gave us perfect advice), and the owner was very courteous and friendly. Excellent food, and the traditional bagna cauda was delicious.
An experience to repeat.

03/12/2025: We've been celebrating Thanksgiving at their hotel next door for 20 years, and every year it's spectacular! We celebrate various events: seminars, birthdays, and even dinners with family or friends, but the staff always offers stellar service. The dishes are delicious with unique touches, and the prices are affordable in a beautiful setting in the historic center of Turin. It's been our favorite restaurant for many years, and it's always a great pleasure to eat at Mare Chiaro!! 🍾❤️

29/11/2025: Super helpful and professional staff! They take great care of their customers with great courtesy and elegance. The traditional Turin dishes, with a contemporary twist, are simply spectacular! The quality/price ratio is truly incredible! The refined setting and atmosphere are reminiscent of a Michelin-starred restaurant. I wouldn't be surprised if I found it in the Michelin guide tomorrow, because it's truly worthy. Congratulations!

The menu isn't very varied, partly because the owner makes everything himself.
09/10/2025: I don't understand people who give one star... I don't think they've even spoken a word to Vittorio. Otherwise, it would be impossible to give a bad review.
An attentive, welcoming, and friendly gentleman.
He's the chef, owner, assistant chef, waiter, and even the dishwasher.
The food arrives promptly, and I can't understand how he does it all by himself without making you wait. The house limoncello is fantastic. But the best? Chatting with him🥰
A wonderful experience.
Very fair prices.
I'll be back! 🥰

A far cry from the fast food joints and kebab joints everyone goes to...
Here the prices are very fair, and for the price of a kebab, you can enjoy authentic flavors like scamorza sausage and caramelized onion, or fried polenta and braised meat that would wake the dead!!!
Apulian escarole pies as good as those in Lecce. Trust me, try at least one, then we'll talk about it!!

Excellent food, friendly service, and great price. Considering what I ate, it was perfect!
I'll be back without waiting for a special occasion!
21/11/2025: Typical Turin osteria. There are only a few tables, which is too many for the small space. There's an outdoor bathroom. Good service, excellent food.

14/10/2025: The pizza is good, but these days you pay as much for a pizza as for spaghetti with clams. You can't get a €16 pizza.
12/10/2025: We've got to the place by chance and we are so lucky. The staff were friendly and professional, and the food was amazing, we've had one of the best pizzas we tried in italy for sure and the wine was immaculate (we ordered the waiter's recommendation). This is a must if you're around!

12/09/2025: A top butcher shop if you love quality dry-aged meat. You can eat outside. I had a 1.6 kg minhota with a side of potatoes that would feed a regiment😂.
The owner is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
Open for lunch only.
