07/10/2025: I've tried several plin with roast beef sauce, but I've rarely had anything this good. The chef didn't mess up a single flavor in the typical tasting menu. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area (near the city center), but when you leave feeling so satisfied, you won't even look at the receipt. Discovered by chance with friends, I'll definitely be back.

The portions are generous, full of flavor and substance, just as you'd expect from a restaurant that honors tradition. The appetizers are a journey through time: each bite tells a piece of history, with robust and familiar flavors that bring back memories of Sunday lunches of yesteryear. A small selection of these would be enough to leave full and satisfied—but it would be a shame not to continue with the delicious and comforting first courses, and the second courses, capable of delighting even the most discerning palates. The prices are fair, perfectly in line with the quality and quantity served. In an age where everything moves so quickly, La Piola di Alfredo offers a break filled with authentic flavors, simplicity, and a warm welcome. A small corner of the past that tastefully endures in the heart of Turin.

07/11/2025: We had dinner at this rustic, period-style restaurant, and the waiters were very kind and polite. We had peppers with bagna cauda and braised beef in Barolo, both very good. Recommended.

23/10/2025: We came here after lunch to have a bicerin. It’s an interesting place, a bistro and a bike store in one. They have a nice terrace outside, as well as some tables inside. The bicerin was delicious, a really must-order when you’re in the neighbourhood!

29/10/2025: A small restaurant with a menu typical of the region. Inexpensive by Italian standards and very tasty! The owner speaks Italian, I don't... Nevertheless, the communication was humorous and friendly! The ambiance isn't exactly "freshly painted," but the atmosphere and the quality of the food more than make up for it. During our visit, we only saw Italians among the other guests – and locals should know what's good, right? 😋
