The owners welcome you with a sincere courtesy that's rare these days: a genuine smile, a kind word, and the immediate feeling of being guests rather than customers. The portions are generous, full of flavor and substance, just as you'd expect from a restaurant that honors tradition. The appetizers are a journey through time: each bite tells a piece of history, with robust and familiar flavors that bring back memories of Sunday lunches of yesteryear. A small selection of these would be enough to leave full and satisfied—but it would be a shame not to continue with the delicious and comforting first courses, and the second courses, capable of delighting even the most discerning palates. The prices are fair, perfectly in line with the quality and quantity served. In an age where everything moves so quickly, La Piola di Alfredo offers a break filled with authentic flavors, simplicity, and a warm welcome. 07/11/2025: We had dinner at this rustic, period-style restaurant, and the waiters were very kind and polite. We had peppers with bagna cauda and braised beef in Barolo, both very good. Recommended.

16/08/2025: A less touristy restaurant with simple but effective cuisine. The ingredients are good, including seafood and fish, and are simply prepared. The pasta is perfectly cooked, and the service is fast and friendly.

07/10/2025: I've tried several plin with roast beef sauce, but I've rarely had anything this good. The chef didn't mess up a single flavor in the traditional tasting menu. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area (near the city center), but when you leave feeling so satisfied, you won't even look at the receipt. Discovered by chance with friends, I'll definitely be back.

05/10/2025: We weren't familiar with the place and were inspired by the excellent reviews, which turned out to be true. The food and ingredients were excellent, the value for money was well-balanced, and the Piedmontese tradition was respected with the chef's personal touch. The service was attentive and pleasant.

23/10/2025: We came here after lunch to have a bicerin. It’s an interesting place, a bistro and a bike store in one. They have a nice terrace outside, as well as some tables inside. The bicerin was delicious, a really must-order when you’re in the neighbourhood!
