31/10/2025: Celebrated my grandmother's 90th birthday. The staff was very kind and helpful. Excellent food. Considering there were about 60 guests at the birthday party, the service was professional. Excellent value for money. Will definitely return.

Despite having announced that we would be paying, at the end of the dinner we discovered that they had accepted payment from our guests. A negative experience.

27/11/2025: I went to this restaurant with my relatives. My sister recommended it based on the positive reviews, and I can only confirm this. The place is very cute and unique. The service was impeccable; the waiter who served us was truly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The food, well, the food was spectacular. I had the tagliolini and they were truly delicious. I left feeling truly satisfied. A full 5 stars.

The portions are generous, full of flavor and substance, just as you'd expect from a restaurant that honors tradition. The appetizers are a journey through time: each bite tells a piece of history, with robust and familiar flavors that bring back memories of Sunday lunches of yesteryear. A small selection of these would be enough to leave full and satisfied—but it would be a shame not to continue with the delicious and comforting first courses, and the second courses, capable of delighting even the most discerning palates. The prices are fair, perfectly in line with the quality and quantity served. In an age where everything moves so quickly, La Piola di Alfredo offers a break filled with authentic flavors, simplicity, and a warm welcome. 07/11/2025: We had dinner at this rustic, period-style restaurant, and the waiters were very kind and polite. We had peppers with bagna cauda and braised beef in Barolo, both very good. Recommended.

09/11/2025: Food was awful and very salty. They said that they were fully booked but the restaurant was empty so we were sat outside. We gave the veal to a passing dog. Would not recommend.

02/12/2025: I stopped by Oui Baguette for lunch and was truly impressed. The sandwiches are freshly made with the freshest ingredients, flavorful, and well-balanced. The baguette is spectacular: crispy, light, and fragrant, perfect for a quick but quality lunch.

23/11/2025: Terrible experience, I don't recommend it to anyone who uses the The Fork app or who is NOT ITALIAN. My friend and I had booked at 9pm. When we arrived there, the owner made us come back after 1 hour. On our return, we waited again for 10 minutes to prepare the table. When we arrived, the owner didn't welcome us or anything, not even asking us about the reservations we had made on The Fork. When we sat down, the owner already started being rude towards my friend. We ate at prices that were too high and portions that were too small, considering that we were in a RESTAURANT, not in a STARRED restaurant, which should be a welcoming place, but it wasn't like that at all. We could already hear people sitting at a table saying various unpleasant things about us. We got to the end of dinner, went to the bathroom to wash our hands and leave, and we could hear people outside saying "Look at these Maranzas." As we were leaving and heading towards the exit, the owner told us that we had to pay €39, but we had already paid everything with the Yums, which were €50 for me and my friend, since we had 2 reservations for 2 tables, which the owner DIDN'T ASK FOR at the entrance. The owner started to get angry and rude towards us, discriminating against us and threatening to beat us up if we tried to talk to him, also asking me why I was speaking that way when I was only trying to be respectful towards him, since that's what he didn't do towards us. The owner claimed that in his opinion we didn't have half a euro, even comparing us to the public figure Don Ali, since he's our fellow countryman, claiming that we were being smart and threatening to lock us in the restaurant and beat us up. Only after the police arrived did the owner cancel a reservation on TheFork, but we still haven't received anything. Then, by saying "I'll just call him and he'll come down," everything was resolved by the police and a gentleman present. Terrible experience, the worst of my life. I don't recommend it if you're a young foreigner and if you use TheFork.

27/11/2025: We went to Bicierin in San Salvario for a spritz and a small aperitivo, and it was all great! A cute place with a relaxed atmosphere. We ordered four spritzes, and the quality and quantity were excellent. Honorable mention goes to Emiliano: he was incredibly kind, and we had a chat, which was truly a pleasure. We'll be back very soon.
