The waitress who prepared the dishes was very hasty and anxious about the queue...it can happen....but.... But the thing I didn't like at all was when we asked for the oil, he showed up taking out of his pockets 1 sachet of oil and 1 of salt.... 07/03/2025: Cenamos en La Cueva: la ubicación era agradable y la comida era buena con precios razonables. Sin embargo, 3 € por una botella de agua ordinaria, 4 € por persona para cubrir el cargo y 7 € por un solo chupito de licor, es realmente demasiado y por lo tanto la factura era excesiva.

03/09/2025: A disappointing experience to say the least... the menu includes a grilled meat dish for one person, priced at around €18, specifying a minimum of 359g of meat. There's also a portion for two people for around €32, specifying a minimum of 750g of meat. You might even think that with 750g of meat, you'd have a hard time finishing it. Well, the grilled meat dish for two arrived, and it was embarrassing to see that for €32, the dish contained exactly the following: 4 sausages 4 small pieces of sliced ​​beef 2 slices of coppa or capocollo 1 chicken breast, cut in half Speechless. I asked the waitress for an explanation, and she very kindly explained that the weight listed on the menu refers to the weight of the raw meat (?!?!) Not to mention the infamous ribs... the menu shows a bucket full of ribs, but in reality, for €8.90 they bring you five miniature ribs... 5! Anyway, I have no complaints about the staff; they're friendly, but the quality/price ratio is truly disproportionate. Plus, they don't even bring a piece of bread or half a breadstick. Moral of the story? I spent €80 and then went out to eat at the McDonald's next door! Sorry, but that was the first and last time... never again!!

29/09/2025: It was certainly a top restaurant in years past, just look at the photos of VIPs with dedications hanging in the unchanged dining room: Tony Blair, John Elkann, etc., etc., and it certainly has a long-standing and loyal clientele. We ate outside under a rather nice canopy, disturbed only by the motorbikes that cruise along the road in front, almost as if they were racing tracks. There is no menu. The appetizers were brought right away: giardiniera, raw ham with figs and melon, good raw meat seasoned Piedmontese style, veal with tuna sauce, good meat but a sauce with little tuna and capers, very much like "mayonnaise." First courses: agnolotti with ragù, definitely homemade and tasty, but served overcooked. Second courses: finanzierà or fritto misto. We ordered the fritto misto, fried in oil and butter in a pan, not in a deep fryer. It was excellent quality, well-balanced, sweet and savory, only with the loaf of offal, but many pieces had a soggy, not crunchy, breading. For dessert, a choice of berries, sugar, and lemon, or stuffed peaches. Wine: they leave two bottles of the house white and red on the table, but given where we were, I ordered an excellent one that went well with the dishes, Freisa di Chieri del Balbiano. The bill was €55 per person, which I consider fixed regardless of the choices. Service: a kind and attentive waiter, and Mr. Mario, the owner, was friendly and helpful, assisting the tables. What can I say? A few snags, perhaps due to... at the cook's age but overall you will be welcomed and treated like a nice family.

27/09/2025: Closed for over a month. They haven't reopened since the summer holidays. A faded note said they'd be back on August 30th. Let's hope they reopen sooner or later. The kebab was good and the prices were fair.

29/06/2025: I didn't use the bedrooms, but I tried their restaurant. The place is beautiful, I felt a freshness, but always with a lot of warmth. The service could be faster, but still it was quite welcoming. The food, delicious. I also highly recommend it to those who like a mountain environment and cheese delights.
