05/03/2025: Given that, we only ate burgers. Overall good meat, soft but not toasted sandwich, a sandwich with little character despite the choice. A few chips on the plate, as a side dish to the sandwich (we're talking about potatoes!!!!). EXCELLENT BEER. I didn't imagine that in some parts the squat toilet still existed in the bathroom, given that we are in ITALY.

Servizio ben eseguito ma confidenziale[ a me non disturba] Nel prezzo del menù sono compresi gli antipasti, gradito insalatina fresca e gnocco di pane meno l'arista e la polenta. Ottima la Raclett meno gli affettati, tenera la carne. Il tavolo tra piastra e pietra x cottura della carne risulta un po ingombro. Prezzi secondo me corretti anche in funzione di dove ci si trova. L' esperienza è stata simpatica ma non so se la ripeterei

09/04/2025: Conosco questo locale fin dalla sua apertura e il mio giudizio è sempre stato positivo e lo sarà sempre, sia per il cibo che per la cordialità. Poi quando vengo a mangiare qui so che mi sento a casa; Maria è stata, per noi che andavamo a scuola dietro al locale, come una seconda mamma.

22/02/2025: Ordered online with Glovo.. delivery expected after 40-45 minutes.. the odyssey begins.. they begin (it's not clear who) to postpone the delivery time.. after an hour we call the place to get information on the order. They tell us that it is being prepared because it is a large order and that they are not the ones who changed the time but it is Glovo's fault. After another half hour in which they continue (we still don't know who) to postpone the delivery time, we call again... the owner probably replies and very rudely tells us that we are not the only ones who order on a Saturday evening and therefore we have to wait. We reply that we will wait but we will no longer order from them because they are rude to the customer and unprofessional. The lady says she will come to deliver in person so we can tell her to her face what we think... meanwhile the hours on Glovo continue to increase. In the meantime, we contact Glovo who tell us that the place is moving the delivery time. The lady arrives at 10.45pm or so, continuing to maintain that we cannot expect to order on a Saturday evening and have dinner in semi-normal times and continues to blame glovo. Finally we eat... and surprise! No drinks!! We call again, the lady comes back after 20 minutes, with dinner now over, saying that she had forgotten them in her bag! Well.. I would say that it speaks for itself.. surely the lady in question will respond to the review with unverifiable excuses which I will no longer be able to respond to.. in any case rudeness is certain! As it is certain that, although the products are good, we will not order from them again!

24/03/2025: We got takeout. Really excellent. In particular, the vitello tonnato was a delight for the palate. The pizzas and Italian frying are good. Perfect value for money. We will be back.

25/12/2024: We were there today for Christmas lunch, everything was excellent, delicious food, friendly and welcoming staff.

11/04/2025: Delicious dinner and excellent welcome. We thank the owners who welcomed us and our Nilka. Excellent dinner (polenta concia and Nebbiolo braised meat, accompanied by glasses of wine) and excellent welcome. Thank you, we will return with pleasure.

The menu includes a first course of your choice, a second course of your choice with its side dish, water, wine and possibly corrected coffee. Fixed price €12

17/10/2024: Per alcuni piatti direi una trattoria nella media, per altri il livello si alza (ad esempio con uno dei classici in carta, le polpette al sugo). aiutano a fare il salto di livello e a invitare a tornare la simpatia nel servizio, la scelta di vini non scontati e il fatto che si trovi in un quartiere con scelta mediocre (certo a pochi metri c’è il miglior ristorante di Torino a mio avviso, il condividere! Ma si inizia a giocare in un altro campionato…) Il tutto ha un costo, non immaginate il conto da trattoria, potrebbe costare qualcosa in meno per restare un po’ di più nel mio cuore.

08/10/2024: Attention!! Don't be fooled!! If you are looking for a bistro with refined cuisine or a simple but genuine "piola", for a special evening or to eat well, in short a place where the strong points are the welcoming environment (deceived by the name...) the good quality of the dishes (which unfortunately is praised here, but does not correspond) a quality-price ratio adequate to the experience lived and, last but not least, a manager attentive and truly interested in you and how you will be in his restaurant, DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!! 1. The food is mediocre. For some dishes very disappointing and with a stomach ache that arrived shortly after, perhaps even stale. 2. There is no wine list with names, origins and prices, but you will be forced to choose the wine by looking at a shelf where the cheapest bottle costs 25 euros (the most expensive, let's forget it), but whose real value is perhaps around 7 euros. You feel like you are being fooled. What a disappointment, a wine sold as "natural" (they say, but on the bottle, there was nothing written about it) while the first note you get from the glass once the wine is poured, even left to decant, is alcohol! Alcohol that rises strongly up the nostrils to the head, announcing the migraine of the next day (which promptly arrived). The "Oste" in front of our polite and disappointed complaint (25 euros!), even when questioned, shrugged saying that the risk of opening the bottle was only ours. We almost wanted to fall back and also take a craft beer, but we were told that they only had Menabrea ... (Industrial and probably set at 10 euros? Let's forget it) 3. Full disappointment from the food (little culinary skill and in any case inadequate quality) and SENSELESS prices, from a restaurant in the Precollina, without being one. Appetizer: 2 slices of eggplant - also undercooked - with an unspecified cheese inside, a spoonful of tomato sauce and a crumbled breadstick (I don't know) called Parmigianina, is set at a whopping 15 euros per portion, really risky I'd say! Not to mention the "crostone": two slices of stale bread, defined as "mountain" bread (ah, if it's from the mountains, then...), presented with two sautéed courgettes (bitter) on top, at a whopping 10 euros!! We don't remember the other appetizers, they were so memorable. The first courses then... from 16 to 20 euros, without praise. Perhaps the pasta was the most acceptable thing, it seemed fresh, but ruined by mediocre sauces. For example, in one dish there was supposed to be the toma defined by Melle (which we know very well) too bad that the sauce presented was strangely liquid (was it Milk? Cream? What?) and with the same courgettes placed on the crouton: 16 euros..... NB the quantity found in the dish is inversely proportional to the price and taste... The more it costs, the less they put, the less appetizing or appreciated it is, the more there is. Mise en place non-existent....given the prices, at least a tablecloth, put it! The mountain bread is ok, but at least it must be fresh and not dry! Spending 140 euros, for 4 side dishes disguised as appetizers and 4 first courses, is ABSURD for the poor quality offered. If you want to ride the wave of the starred restaurant located further along the same street, trust me, it is not enough to raise the prices.....it is not even enough to ensure "friendly" reviews. Reality emerges by itself. Always. But the person who served us and made us pay, clearly told us with the same scornful smile of mockery, shown from beginning to end, that he does not care about what the customer says or the reviews .... "We are very expensive" (cit.) We did not take you by the neck to come in here" (cit) To the question: "I think it is important for you to receive feedback from customers. Do you work for people, after all?" Answer: "No, I do not work for people. I do this work for myself!" Need more to say!?! Affiliating with Slow Food and flaunting renowned presidia, unfortunately does not mean a desire for quality, much less for fair, respected and well-prepared food.... nor for sympathy and love for people and catering. To forget.

12/04/2025: Chairs full of bread crumbs, exaggerated prices, 2 sandwiches and a can €17.50 and they only tasted like tomatoes, the quality and quantity has dropped... I've been going there since I was 15 and today I'm 33... Renovating the place doesn't mean putting the costs at the customer's expense... I prefer the old Viola setup with the good things that had flavour. Today will be the last time...
