28/02/2026: Lunch on Thursday with friends, excellent service with a young, smiling, pleasant young man from '99, well-informed both in the wine selection (excellent cellar) and the food. The local owner was also courteous and sweet, comfortable, good value for money. I recommend it!!! ❤️

21/12/2025: Dinner at this restaurant. Excellent food, beautifully presented. High prices... which might even be justified if the service were up to par. Instead: terrible service, I'd say nonexistent. Young waiters wander among the tables without noticing empty bottles or people calling out to them. If you ask for something they don't know (and that's normal), they disappear and you never see anyone again. We had to go straight to the counter to get an amaro. The comments from the tables around us about the service were the same... a real shame, because the place is beautiful and the food is good, but I wouldn't return given the value for money, considering all the variables. A small error during service, which was promptly resolved by a kind waitress!

24/09/2025: I was here on duty for the European cycling race. Very nice, all in wood. I'm so grateful to the staff for their support throughout the day, as well as to the regulars, who were fantastic.

05/09/2025: A very nice welcoming place that gives character to our city given that it is located near the motorway toll booth. Access from the municipality should be a little more looked after. The sidewalk is completely devastated, full of potholes, dangerous for everyone. Inaccessible in a wheelchair unless with assistance. What a shame.

12/03/2026: Excellent food, friendly staff. We had a special grilled meat platter for two (very good value, I'd say). The food was varied and the dishes were well-presented. It's a shame the dining room we were seated in wasn't the most welcoming and was a bit chilly.

09/10/2025: I love this place! Spectacular location in the woods and above the slopes—which are beautiful even when empty. Friendly, family-friendly, welcoming place, perfect for a break any time of day, from midday to late at night...and a wonderful wine selection.

31/12/2025: A terrible experience due to the owner's behavior. A truly unpleasant person, she attacked us as we left because we had entered the wrong door and accidentally ended up on the outside porch. She started knocking compulsively from the window, then came out and told us in a truly rude and bitter tone: "They tell me you're not supposed to stay here!" Once we left, she waved mockingly, given her mocking smile. Not to mention the pizza and its mediocre mozzarella and the fries that came with it, fried in oil that had seen at least ten other fryings. Sincerely, never again. For us, it was the first and last time. The lady should learn how to deal with customers, given the many other negative reviews about her.

30/12/2025: A very satisfying lunch. Simple and welcoming atmosphere, good food, and generous portions. Family-run restaurant with friendly and fast service. Fair and affordable prices, excellent value. Recommended!

A true icon of hospitality! Mrs. Valazza's cuisine is simply extraordinary: authentic dishes, meticulously crafted, exuding passion and tradition. The restaurant is an enchanting place, where you feel like you've stepped back in time, amidst elegance, warmth, and timeless flavor. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere unique: we felt at home. We will definitely be back!

29/05/2025: My goal was to eat paniscia!!! Delicious, actually super... excellent service, the two welcoming, kind, and smiling guys, the interior of the restaurant is also beautiful... a bit of Novara football history is there, it's opposite the old stadium.

20/05/2025: "An oasis of relaxation and good food! This trattoria is a welcoming and relaxing place. Even though the seating is limited, the helpful and friendly staff more than makes up for it. The spaghetti was carefully prepared and tasted authentic, perfectly cooked. The meat dish was truly excellent! The ingredients used are high-quality, and it shows. The only drawback is parking, which isn't easy to find, but with a little patience, you can find a spot. In any case, whether you're in a hurry or want to enjoy a relaxing meal, this trattoria offers all the amenities for an optimal culinary experience. I highly recommend trying this place; you won't regret it!!!

04/02/2026: Very friendly staff, excellent location. The only flaw: the mosquitoes, so many, never happened on Lake Maggiore. They gave everyone mosquito coils and mosquito repellent, but the tables next to us had to be moved because they couldn't eat due to the mosquitoes. As for the food, the fish is incredibly fresh, I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back.

13/09/2025: A charming spot halfway between Stresa and Arona, a very elegant and charming venue with a breathtaking view. I was also surprised by the almost excellent Neapolitan pizza, the generous aperitif, and, surprise, surprise: truly competitive prices. What more could I ask for? Next time I'll definitely try a full dinner and hope the venue lives up to expectations. Ultimately: highly recommended.

01/03/2026: A true gem nestled amidst rice paddies. We were so happy to have been there and to have discovered a little paradise. Novara is nearby and easily accessible by bike or car. And our hostess, Antonella, tries to fulfill every wish 😍.

17/02/2026: I stayed at this property for a business trip. There's a large private parking lot, and the rooms are spacious and clean. I particularly appreciated the spacious shower with plenty of water. Breakfast was varied and catered for all tastes, with both sweet and savory options available upon request. I will definitely be back.

09/03/2026: We stopped by on a Saturday; we often drive past, and last Saturday we decided to stop for lunch. NEVER AGAIN. We ordered two pasta dishes with garlic, oil, and chili pepper. They were overcooked and soupy, not spaghetti or linguine, but short pasta that had nothing to do with garlic and oil. For our second course, we ordered two turkey breasts, probably the pre-packaged kind bought at the discount store, with a sauce that was indescribable in both appearance and flavor. I would advise the owners that if they can't provide decent service and a decent meal, forget it. I've had other business lunches that were always between €11 and €13, but this was by far the worst.

28/12/2025: On our drive south, we stopped at this Italian restaurant because it's close to the motorway. We had assumed it would be a "normal" pizzeria, but we were surprised by the very extensive menu. We opted for fish and weren't disappointed. The owner's wine recommendation was also spot on. We'll be back!

15/02/2026: Bad experience: cold food, not suitable for a special dinner. Poor value for money. Menu with prepackaged dishes.
